"I decided that I wanted to talk to her. So, I purchased her time, with no plans of doing anything more than talking. She was perplexed by this at first. She had never seen such a thing before. So I told her that I simply wanted to talk to her, because she intruiged me. Which was the truth. We talked for about an hour, until my time was up. I wasn't ready to leave her, so I promised to return the next day. She smiled and nodded at me, but I could tell she didn't believe that I would ever come again. It surprised her when I went back the next day and payed to talk to her for another hour. This pattern went on for a few weeks, as we got to know each other for one hour out of each day."
"What else happened?" She asked softly.((short post is short. xd ;; ))
"I didn't want her in that place any longer. It was no good for her. All the other girls treated her terribly, because she was the most beautiful, and they were jealous cows. The only way to get her, was to buy her. But Mistress Dion had no intentions of selling. She was the biggest money maker, according to her. She was a b***h of an old woman, and refused all my offers. I had one option left..."((LOL. Oh, and if I don't respond it may mean my computer died. It's acting up again.))
"Did...you both run off?" She asks, her voice having a tinge of curiosity. She leaned in a bit closer, eager to hear more of the story.((God I can't make very good posts now..DX Darn brain...o3o..oh..okies. DX I sowwy...))
"In the dead of night, I broke in and I took her away from that horrible place forever. We went back to where I was staying, and for the first time in all the weeks I had known her, we made love. It was the longest I had ever waited for a woman. But it was so much sweeter. I truly loved her. I can remember that night, and all the ones after it so vividy in my mind. The shine of the soft lanterns on her hair, and the smell of her sweet perfume..."
"Sounds like a dream come true.." She told him. However..something in the back of her head told her....this was something that was TOO perfect. Nothing was like that in this world...reality is a b***h.She knows that by personal experience. Something terrible must've happened later on...
"I was forced to separate from her. She began to interfere with my work for the order. I got a notice from them, and I had to leave on the spot. Without a word to her, I vanished. It was easier that way. No sad goodbyes..." His eyes began to water slightly, but he swallowed back his tears, keeping them in.
"I regret now, not saying farewell. I only saw her once after that night. I was passing through the village and I spent a few days with her. She had a married, but he had passed away after only a few years. And she had a daughter, Anita. For those three days it was almost like things were the way they had been before. But they weren't, and never could be. So, I kept traveling. A month later, I got word that she had passed away from illness...."
He was shaking a little again, but they were small dry sobs. He squeezed Chloe's hand tighter in both of his.
Please don't let me go, Chloe...
