The anger seemed to mellow as he told her his reason for not writing, though he was yet not forgiven and it would take more then an explanation to get him off the hook. A soft gasp left her lips as he took her hand and led her inside. "That's the worst excuse" she complained as she looked down at their locked hands as he led her "What do you have?" she asked as she crossed her arms across her torso once her hand was free. She averted her gaze when he asked if he'd been the reason she'd come "I was in town" she lied.

Too many witnesses she told herself as she grinned inwardly. He was being too nice and her anger was beginning to simmer even more. "I'll just have an apple" she muttered as she grabbed one from a bowl in the center of a counter. She wiped it on her clothing and took a bite out of the juicy fruit, then chewing as she looked back to him "That's nice of you" she commented "And where would you be staying?" she asked

She chuckled softly at the memory, though the pain was evident in her eyes at the mention of her father "Well, things are different now you know. I'm not a little kid and I doubt that cuddling is allowed" she told him taking another bite from her apple. She remembered how content she'd been to just lay in bed with him snuggled up with him. "Considering I have no where to go I'll take you up on that offer" she said with a smirk.

"Why would I make cuddling a problem?" she asked innocently though she grinned at the back of his head as he led her up the stairs and down the hallways. Her eyes had been darting from corner to corner as she allowed him to lead her. She'd never been in such an extravagant place in her travels, her father would have loved it. "A little early for bed don't you think?" she asked as they entered the room and he flopped on his bed. She strolled around the room, biting her apple as she did, and ran her fingers over trinkets here and there before she sat at the edge of the bed.

She rolled at her eyes as she tossed the contents of her apple in the bin and kicked off her shoes. Like old times he'd said but this was not the face she'd known then. Crawling up to where he laid she snuggled up to him when he'd found a comfortable spot "I'm still mad" she told him, knowing he probably was waiting for the blow she'd throw his way in the morning. Happily she settled beside him watching as he fell asleep quickly. Shifting she kissed his cheek and murmured "I missed you" laying her head on his shoulder she nodded off.

"You think your being in love with her hurts my feelings? I couldn't care any less then I already do now." Alastor told him honestly. "Now if you'll excuse me, I do have other business to attend to." He told him promptly before turning around and heading back from where he came.

Alastor started laughing when he heard that from Matachi. He wasn't afraid, he knew exactly what he was doing and he was doing whatever he damn well pleased. "Is it me that's afraid, Matachi? You're hesitating to use force, why? You're not going to convince me by any other means. So unless you plan on acting on said force, then leave me be."

"An abuse of power, but fine. You'll know where to find me as always." Alastor laughed as he then twisted and distorted out. There was really nothing to it. It would probably lead to some pretty interesting results anyway.
