Ah, yes, character sets beyond ASCII can be very troublesome, as evident in problems like choosing the right hyphen and all the different kinds of quotes (there are at least 5 different kinds: non-directional, left, left-inverse right, and right-inverse).

Nuclear, as in drastic. Since guilds get so little traffic these days, I was entertaining the possibility of re-forming the Roleplay Refuge as a coalition of roleplayers in Barton Town who help each other create and run roleplays.
I remember my friend Mud has an RP advertisement thread in the Barton OOC, organized into lit-level categories. It was really popular, but Mud got busy with real life things and had to shut the thread down after she couldn't keep it open anymore. That's what inspired the idea.
But, it looks like a few people are streaming back in, now that I've made that newsletter that linked to different threads. I think a good policy from here on out will be to advertise new roleplays via announcement, so that members know when there's actually something in the guild.
