So I just read an interesting bit on a practice called "earthing". It's based on the theory that the ground contains electrons that can be absorbed into the body through direct contact, providing the free radicals (what those are) with electrons to latch on to without disrupting the already-whole atoms in your body (the disruption of which is apparently the very first stage of most non-infectious diseases, including mental illnesses). It was compared to antioxidants in that right, but it's supposed to be much more effective. In fact, it's supposed to be the best natural way to improve your health, and it's easily available and completely free. Sand and wet grass are supposed to be the best places to do it, and gardeners reap the benefits as well. Unfortunately, my ground is covered in snow, and I'm not exactly keen on going shoeless in that, so I'll have to wait for spring to start taking my walks barefoot.
tl;dr: direct contact with the ground makes you healthier. If you think it's hippie bullshit, here thar be science.

That makes Kelly the biggest tool ever.

RIGHT!? Internet nostalgia is now a thing. There's an organization called FCKH8 that's par of some anti-bullying thing for LGBT kids. They put out these videos every now and again, usually in response to something, to raise awareness. They're usually kind of funny, and one of them has about ten seconds of Kelly just being kind of silly in it. I had to stop and go "Hang on, I know who that person is! Now if only I could remember..." xd

Talking To Yourself Isn’t So Bad, Give It a Chance Sometime I ******** hate it when people chastise you for talking to yourself. Everybody thinks you’re crazy when you do it. Why? What’s so ******** wrong with talking to yourself? Think about it. Who knows you better than you? Nobody. People tend to get along best with people who are like them, so what better friend in the world is there than yourself? You both have the same interests, you understand each other’s deepest fears, thoughts, and pleasures. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to, but nobody gives a s**t about your problems because they don’t fully understand. So in these situations it’s best to talk to yourself. Your self is a good listener and he can help provide great insight into your issues and anxieties because he knows you so well. This is not the sign of someone going crazy; it’s quite the opposite. By talking to yourself and brainstorming with each other on philosophical bullshit and what not, you’re providing you and yourself with some clarity. Clarity brings sanity, which is the opposite of insanity. Therefore, talking to yourself is not the sign of insanity, but rather sanity.
Isn’t that right, myself?MYSELF: "Yes it is, a*****e."
