My roommates are coming back.
That means having to do all their dishes and be constantly paranoid about them listening in on me while I'm watching porn.

Just tell them you're spending time with your fiance, and that you'd appreciate it if they'd just stay away. Also, why am I up so late oh my GOD OR you can out-disgust/awkward them. Like, toss a bunch of used condoms (or not-actually-used condoms, if you have some sense of "dignity" to maintain) in the strangest places, like your fridge.

I wanna participate in Black March ant take it a step further by not buying anything released that month for even longer, but I don't buy many games, see many movies, or buy any music that isn't directly from the artist, so they prolly aren't gonna hear me. Anybody else wanna participate or do you guys think this campaign is dumb?

Owwin I wanna participate in Black March ant take it a step further by not buying anything released that month for even longer, but I don't buy many games, see many movies, or buy any music that isn't directly from the artist, so they prolly aren't gonna hear me. Anybody else wanna participate or do you guys think this campaign is dumb? Boycotting for longer sounds good, but I'd probably boycott specific organizations. Also, this sounds more effective than a ton of effort to "raise awareness lol".

There are plenty of companies that support SOPA/PIPA, but there are also plenty that have been against it since the beginning. If you're boycotting in protest of these bills, then boycott products released by supporters and support the companies who opposed the bills. As for participating, I definitely won't be joining in if it's a general 'don't buy anything' boycott. I'd have to look into the various anime companies and see where they stand in regards to SOPA if we're being more specific.

I think you could do your research and buy from anime companies. Just do what you can to support it in your own way. I just want to spread the word about it. Hell, companies against SOPA should be supported. And internet supporting companies like google that are willing to throw their weight around to be heard by the lobbyists and folks at the entertainment industry would be good ones to support as well.
