Well enough. Found out Orange Julius makes a new kind of smoothie that is truly yummy. Got a new ice cream scoop similar to the one Alton Brown showed on the ice cream episode of Good Eats that works fabulously.

I haven't been to an Orange Julius in years...
What's in the new smoothie? I don't watch many cooking shows... aside from Restaurant Disasters... they make me too hungry, and I can't pay attention... until finally I just get up and hike to the grocery store. sweatdrop

Speaking of which... what should I prepare for a late lunch?

I've never been to an Orange Julius. There's a couple Jamba Juices nearby, though.

They've started making smothies that use the usual fruits they have for the original Julius, but they add sherbets and frozen yogurt, along with fruit juices. The one I had contained strawberries, banana, pineapple, orange sherbet and a tropical fruit juice.

Late lunch? Haven't a clue. Depends on what ingredients you've got around.

It's only about 70 degrees here... but a smoothie is sounding mighty good arround now...

I have a couple slices of beef, a boned chicken breast, sausage, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, spinach (leaves, not canned), radishes, peaches, apples, plumbs, milk, sour cream, cream cheese, wheat bread, rice, egg noodles, butter, apple butter, honey, and assorted spices and condiments.

Hmmm... you could take some of the beef or chicken and the noodles and put them together into something... with a salad of spinach and shredded carrot.

Or you could take the meat and rice, broccoli and carrot and do a quick and dirty fried rice.

Or if you have eggs, you could take the bread and make french toast with apple butter on it.

Or you could go out and get food you don't have to cook. xd

Ah. I understand wanting to cook for people and not wanting to disappoint. sweatdrop

I'm afraid my reputation is not warranted. Yeah, I can cook. But I can also produce some spectacularly awful stuff at times.

Unless it's poisonous, it's all a matter of opinion. wink
Cooking, like any other art is highly subjective to the senses of those partaking. wink

Edit: Well, I've got to run to the grocey store and get some cheese...

Take care Usagi, and you too Alliance, if you're still there.
