Remus turned to look at Seth. "His student arrived and persuaded him not to attack me. That and I bit back a few retorts that would have resulted with death on sight."

"Luck. You escape by luck..well, that's how we escaped the first time so I'm not surprised." Seth said, stretching lightly, "And I forgot to tell you congrats on your engagement with Lina. You'll need all you luck now to get through the day. A lycan and vampiric marriage..." he smirked, "I haven't seen that type of ceremony in a long while."

Needless to say, Quinn was a bit confused when he was suddenly hoisted into the air. Looking down, he saw that he was being carried by a Hybrid Lycan; it was Rikku. He had never traveled by Lycan before, so it was an interesting experience. When he was finally set down, he situated himself comfortablely in his robes. The forest was a peaceful place, much unlike the noises of Signet. It had an odd way of returning the energy to him.
He looked to Rikku when she asked her question, "I've been looking for answers as to why. My family was massacred, and for some reason I was the only one to survive. I don't remember any of it. When I woke up, my wounds had been tended too and I was alone in a hut. There was food for me, there was cloths, and there was a note that said, more or less, 'I helped you now, and you can help me at a later time.' I didn't recognize the handwriting, so that's been a mystery to me as well."

Rikku listened quietly wither her head down as he spoke, when finished she laughed quietly to herself. She looked up at him her eyes full of sorrow.

"I haven't heard of it except in lore, supposed history of the time when the ten ruled." Chimed in a female voice, as Kiran shifted from hybrid form and into human as she revealed herself. She'd been listening to the flute and found herself listening to a very familiar voice once it ended. "And I must say as well, cousin, congratulations."

Seth caught the look, but didn;t say anything of it, "Tell me this...before Lina was controlled by Dorien. Did anything happen to her? For Troden, these marks came across his wrists and would move on their own signalling the control." A troubled look came into his eyes, "Did she see any visions?" he gripped his flute a little tighter at that.

Before Remus could ask why, he heard the voice. He turned, shifting into his human form as well. A look of shock covered his face. "Kiran Aisling!? Is that you!? What are you doing here!?"

Her eyes were cast downward, submissively, and she looked embarrassed for having been eavesdropping. "I found myself in a spot of trouble, and it seems your footsteps are the ones I picked to follow."
