Gambler shook Aria's hand and let it go with a smile. "I wish you all the luck in the world in finding your beloved." She said, bowing and taking the chance of walking passed the Fae in where they were just coming from to return to the rest of the group. Of course, she was alert and walked with measured steps, ready for an attack from behind but she looked at the flower. If this was a trap then she would have done something by now, right?

Once Rave would be in sight, Gambler would have to hurry to see the shocked look on his normaly passive face. In his hands were the two portraits, the painter by him, wringing his hands nervously. "What do you think of them, sir?" In the first one, it was just him in the pose of him reading the book, shadows playing across his features perfectly.
It was perfect, but the second one was the one that got him. In it was him and Gambler, the woman resting on his shoulder, seeming to be asleep, while he read his book, leaning towards her with what could only be considered a soft smile with Rave. "They... They're amazing, sir. How much?" "Oh, just have them." A look of confusion and the painter smiled, "You didn't ask for them, I just painted them. No need to pay for that." Rave gave the man a soft smile and nodded in thanks.

"Dusk? Can you hear me? Please, I need your help." Zeen said aloud, hoping that the Seal would work if he didn't use thoughts.

Rave was indeed in Gambler's sights as she frowned and went over to him quickly. Blinking, she zeroed in on his shocked face like a laser. "Rave? Are you okay?" She asked, kneeling in front of him and the paintings. Maybe there was something wrong with them? Or maybe he was just shocked randomly.

Rave looked up and blinked, his face once again turning into that calm manner that everyone knew and loved so well. "Nothing's wrong. It's just I'm a little surprised." He showed her the paintings. "What do you think?"
Blinking, Dusk cocked her head to the side as she heard something. "What?" Talon looked over, "Hm?" "Nothing, I just thought that I heard something..."

Gambler blinked at him and then looked at the paintings, sitting down, looking over each detail closely and touching each drawing very lightly with a finger, outlining each line. "You want my honest opinion?" She asked raising a brow at him then looked back at them to make her judgement.

"As always." He continued to look at the phenomenal painting. He had seen better, but that was only from one person. This man was at par with Zaine, which was insane.

Gambler smiled and kissed his forehead. "I think this is brilliant. You should put them up in some nice frames. I might have some if you would like." She touched his cheek. "That's if your going to keep them." She said, looking at the one with her and him together. "Damn. I wasn't even here that long and he got me good. I like this guy." She muttered in awe.

"It's me, Zenouse. I'm stuck and I'm not even sure where I am. I'm tied up and for some reason, my abilities have been neutralized. I can't even lift my wings. I would very much appreciate if you would follow the trail of burnt area that my powers left behind; they seem to develope a conciousness of their own when I'm unconcious and in danger." Zeen said through the Seal.

Dusk blinked, the blinked again, and then twitched. Moving into her own room of the house, she slammed the door. "And what the hell do you want, and why are you in my head?!" She was speaking in hushed and ticked off whispers. Dusk had only dealt with the guy for a few hours, and she already disliked him. And now he was in her head? How did that work?!
"It is brilliant..." Rave smiled and kissed her cheek, "Would you like the one with the couple? Or the other one? I'll keep them both if not..." He was still amazed at the quality of the art.

Gambler smiled and sat next to Rave, looking at the drawings, placing the flower next to her and pointed to the one of him reading the book. "You keep the one of us. I'll keep the one of you. I have a frame in mind that would set if off nicely and a spot in my office to put up a picture. This might be the right one for that spot." She said, thinking how well that picture would balance with the rest of her office things. "Or do you want that one?" She asked.

Rave shrugged, handing her the picture, "It's whatever you wish, Gambler." He smiled softly at her, his face hidden from the rest of the world by his bangs. "What did you and Miss Aria speak about?" He was curious, wondering what happened seeing as Gambler seemed to get along with the girl.

Gambler smiled and held the picture with tender hands and sighed. She told Rave about what was spoken to each other, more about Aria's views and what she was trying to accomplish, and about the things that have been going on lately with the Seelie Court. She even grinned when she told him about the former Prince who was now trying to be a activist.
"Though, since he's trying to convert the bad to be good, I think it's a good idea to keep a close eye on him with that. I've seen too many people fall victim to that." She said and continued on with possibly having some Fae influence moving into the city but not necessarily having the Fae take over, since this was her city and that of the other leaders who live here before all this came into the light. Then she showed him the nice flower and that if she was to go to the Fae's to bring this and that she would be respected. "If the Fae's have great memories, they would run and hide from me." She grinned but it left her face and looked at Rave. "So, what are your thoughts?"

Rave sighed and sat more comfortably against the tree. "I think that it would be best to keep Dusk near them at almost all times. Unlike us, she's not affected by their mesmer, but no one really knows why. Kalore isn't as affected, just only by the more powerful ones. I don't think this Aria would be of much influence, but he's indisposed at the moment..." He sighed again and looked at her, "It's probably too cautious, but I just don't trust the Fae... I do trust the girl, but not her people..." His voice was low, soft; a habit from when he was speaking about things like this constantly.

Gambler sighed and nodded. "I know. I like her. There's nothing malicious coming from her and no ill intent, it's the rest that I'm reserved about. I told her not to let them know it was me that she was speaking to. I want to surprise them." She grinned with a hint of mischief. "This is just a hard thing because trying to find a compromise where everyone is at least decently happy and can deal with it is the hard part."
