Gabriel giggled as he saw the new stranger looking down at him. He waved his arms and Ceon held out Gabriel towards her, in case she wanted to hold him.

Layna sat up, her eyes burned from crying silently throughout the night, making them water. She could hear voices, which made her alert quickly. "Ceon...?" She murmured quietly, unsure.

Laureen took young Gabriel and held him in her arms. As he cooed she smiled.
" He is so beutiful" She said.

Ceon heard Layna call his name, and hurriedly rushed to their room, "Layna, are you alright?"
Gabriel reached his tiny arms up and grabbed her chin. He giggled softly and began to clap his hands together.

Layna looked at him. "Who is there...I hear someone....Who is it?" She asked, fearful. She didn't know what to think. She was cautious of strangers, especially those who were in the same house as her son.

Ceon sat on the bed next to her, "It's a young lycan girl who's looking for her son that was taken by vampires. So I let her in. She's playing with Gabriel right now."

Layna stared at him briefly before she sighed, thankful. "I can't believe I slept so ong..." She murmured, rubbing her sore eyes.

Ceon kissed his wife on the cheek, "We were all tired. But now we're awake, and it's almost time for the hunt." Ceon stood up and waited at the bedroom door for her.

Layna stood, feeling her balance totter at the thought of the hunt. "The hunt is soon?" She asked quietly as she walked slowly toward her mate. "I guess...I'm nervous." In truth, her skin itched to change, to run faster than the wind. It had been many months since she had been in her were skin, and she was dying to change.

Ceon nodded and pushed her hair behind her ears. "It'll be nice to hunt again. It's been a while since anyone in the pack went on a hunt this big." Ceon kissed her gently and smiled.

Layna smiled slightly. "Which means the more attention we will get. That can be a bad thing." She mumbled with a sigh. "Have you spoken with Sibyl yet?"

"No, not yet. But she's either in her apartment or already in the subway." Ceon hugged Layna against him and rubbed his hands along her arms.

Layna sighed heavily and leaned against him. "I just feel horrible leaving Gabriel without either of us to be with him. I would be scared not to have my parents with me..."

Laureen brought the now fully awake Gabriel into his parnets room.
"I just feel horrible leaving Gabriel without either of us to be with him. I would be scared not to have my parents with me..." She her Layna say.
"Layna, Gabriel will be in good hands with Jaden. Who better to trust than the alpha-male himself?" He herd Ceon chuckle.
" I hate to seem like i am essdropping , but if Jaden can't watch Gabriel i can certainly watch him . He...seems to like me" She said.
