Too bad the boulder Chloe had torched was another Graveler, who wasn't too happy about being engulfed in flames. Chloe motioned Saku forward, as the Shelgon slammed into the Graveler with a Zen Headbutt. The Graveller exploded in a Selfdestruct, sending Saku flying, along with pieces of gravel and rocks. Chloe coughed, as the dust that flew everywhere for a few moments found its way without fail into her lungs.
"Geez, I never saw the point in a move like that," she sputtered, finding grit in her mouth too, "Blowing yourself up? That's just crazy!"
A few moments later she found Saku, the Shellgon shaking her head, as she spat out some dirt from the blast.
"Glad to see you're okay," Chloe sighed, before freezing as a chunk of Saku's shell fell off.
A pretty hefty chunk at that!
The whole top piece of Saku's protective coating had fallen to the ground, crackling as it landed with a thump. Chloe was high on her way to spazzing again, until she realized something.
Was that a wing?
"You're evolving!" Chloe finally determined, as a golden light surrounded Saku as she grew, wings unfurling as she grinned, now a full-fledged Salamence!

"Finally!" Chloe laughed, in a sentiment that was easily echoed by the Salamence. She could finally move freely again!
Saku let out a happy roar, flapping her newfound wings eagerly. Had they not been in a mineshaft, Saku would have taken off right then and there to test them out. As it stood, she had to settle for prancing happily a few paces, finally free of that annoying shell that hindered her every movement.
Giving a mighty shake, getting a few of the cricks out, Saku sighed contentedly, as Chloe grinned, "Feels good, huh?" she asked, as Saku gave the affirming nod, yawning.
She didn't even notice as the chunks of Saku's former shell merged back together, before glowing faintly, along with her gauntlets, as the Draco Gauntlets absorbed the pieces.

Vhan shrugged in a very confused way before he replied. "I have no idea..." he admitted without a pause.
"I like you too, little guy." he told Que before the Riolu was running off to his 'Momma'.
He couldn't feel it, but Star Shaper offered a weak pulse of it's own as it's form slowly began to change. The wings slowly extended into boughs and the hammerhead thinned and morphed it's shape into an ovular handle between them. The odd spike like symbol atop the hammer head and at the base of the handle adjusted to appear as needles from the central handle.

Felix's light sensitive eyes detected a sudden glow on the ground and his gaze immediately locked onto to it. The blonde watched it with a combination of amazement and skepticism as the glowing egg transformed itself into some sort of sword. After it's transformation, and before he could think better of it, Felix reached down and grabbed the rapier by the hilt, holding it up closer to his face to examine it. Curiosity had always been a big weakness of his. He frowned as he studied the sword. It felt much to light, he had always though that swords were supposed to weigh more... The meowth hybrid was tempted to run his finger along the edge, but not wanting to be known for his stupidity he resisted the urge, instead pulling out one of his hairs and dropping it lightly on the edge. It sliced it clean through. Now he was really glad he had resisted the urge, otherwise he might be out a finger.

Lilie had been watching as Hino tried picking up the Heart Scale, "That happened to me too," she complained, referring to the sudden vanishing act, "I dunno what happened to it, but if I picked it up with my leaves, it didn't poof!" she stated proudly. Although she quite hadn't realized that "Tail-Light" didn't have any such control over plant life.
Chloe was still over by Saku, as she was discussing the gauntlets with Entreri, who didn't have any helpful information other than a few indignant snorts at his trainer. She looked up at the sudden flash of light that revealed Felix's newfound weapon, then discovering that Vhan had one too.
"Oh, I know this... I think," Chloe grimaced, trying to recall what was on the pages in the book in Canalave.
"Uh... I remember the Feather Rapier, and that's what that looks like," she declared, nodding to Felix's weapon, "Er... I don't recall what it does, though," she admitted sadly, "Makes you lighter than air? Don't take my word on it, I have a god-awful memory," she sighed, "Anyway, it has the power of the Flying type element."
"And that's the Steel-type weapon, a bow, if you couldn't already tell," she laughed, "But sadly all I remember about that one is that the arrows it fires are supposed to be really powerful."
"But when we meet back up with Kaya, he should be able to explain them much better than I could," Chloe laughed.

Vhan was more than a bit shocked to see his favorite toy disappear. "Hey! What happened to Star Shaper!?" he cried out in defiance, wanting his hammer back. Though he suddenly understood why he had become a hybrid. He must have been chosen as an Original because of Star Shaper's already unique powers.
Examining the bow for a few moments, he aimed it at a nearby boulder, praying it wasn't a Pokemon and placed it other hand as if he were gripping the cord. He felt the ethereal energy materialize as an arrow of gleaming chrome appeared with a long and narrow arrowhead.
He pulled the energy thread back and released, watching as the arrow shot out like a sparkling comet and blasted a hole clean through the boulder he'd been aiming at. He really didn't know what to say to that.

Chloe whistled, "Good aim..." she murmured, watching the smoking crater in the boulder.
"I'm confused, though," she admitted, "I mean, that's the steel type weapon, right?" she asked, looking to the bow, "Julian has the poison type weapon, so he was starting to look, and act honestly," she didn't know many normal people who would leap at a person and bite them, unless they were a cannibal, which she doubted Julian was, "like a poison type. Ricardo has the... dark type?" she questioned, taking a look at Ricardo's katana-like weapon, "So I think he's hybrid...ifying? I don't think that's a word... but whatever. Into a dark type."
"But you're kinda... purple-y," Chloe stated the obvious once more, causing her Weavile to snort, rolling his eyes.
"The only purple-ish steel types I know are... wait, you're not turning into a Forretress are you?" she gawked, probably sounding like a complete idiot by now.
"He doesn't have a shell, and he has a frickin' tail!" Entreri muttered under his breath, sighing.

Vhan shrugged, though it became a very pained looking cringe for a brief moment as the horn on his head gave of a near deafening bang as it cracked down the center and then slowly folded outward to form a pair of steel hard horns on his forehead, jutting out like metal eyebrows. The armor coated tail lost part of it's coating, revealing a softer underside. His fingers also felt extremely encumbered by the armor plating of his forearms, which now extended past his elbows. His legs felt the same as armor plating encumber his feet somewhat, extending past his knees a bit as well.

Chloe jumped, startled at the sudden loud crack from Vhan's horn as it split. She covered her ears, but it did little to help after the fact. Entreri didn't seem so phased, he merely went to investigate where Saku's shell had once been while the Salamence came up behind Chloe, watching Vhan curiously as the changes took place.
"Wait, Byron had one of those..." she murmured, trying to recall the name of the Pokemon. All she really recalled was that its Metal Burst attack sucked to be on the receiving end off...
"Bastidon!" Chloe suddenly recalled to herself with a nod. That was the name of the behemoth.
Lilie was distracted from more shiny-hunting at the loud sound, she came up beside Choe, also watching Vhan.
"You okay, horn-head?" she asked.

He ducked, getting scratched a little as it flapped it's wings trying to hit him again. "Damn Golbats! You no can has my blood! Hino, come over here and use Ember!" Hino ran over and took a deep breath, releasing the flames, though this time it was a lot more than an Ember. Hino had unintentionally used. a Heat Wave. The Golbat flew back and hit a wall, flying back towards Hino and using Bite when it recovered. "Do that again Hino!" Ricardo yelled. Hino opened his mouth up and Heat Wave again, though the Golbat was still attached to his arm. Golbat dug it's teeth in further as it continued to use Bite. "Knock it off now, use Dragon Claw." Hino growled and nodded, lifting his free arm up above him as it was engulfed in flames before he struck the Golbat's head, sending it flying off deeper into the cave. {{Proxy no let me roll dice.
