{{Hey. At my grandparents place until Sunday. I might be popping on occasionally to check on stuff, but I won't be too active. So I'm gonna go have Chloe join Nona on the boat after I get these wild Pokemon appearances done. :3}}
Chloe nodded as Brayden came in to explain, "Great," she grinned, gathering her stuff. She headed outside a short bit later. She headed out a few paces, turning, to see if Ricardo and Julian were all set to join them.
"What is that?" Chloe gawked, spotting a rather odd Pokemon back by the center doors. It was looking at her footprints in the snow curiously, before starting to follow them, head down.
It didn't take long for Chloe to realize that the Pokemon was headed her way.

"Its kinda cute... whatever it is," Chloe murmured, looking to her Pokedex for a bit of help.
"Hm... Snover," she read, skimming over the info on the curious Pokemon.
"I think I'm gonna catch it," she decided with a smile, sending out Entreri. The Weavile looked to Chloe.
"This one we're weakening, not catching, so stick to Aerial Aces for now," Chloe instructed the Weavile, who nodded, before leaping into the air, charging at the Snover. The ice type had spotted Chloe and Entreri, stopping his examination on her footprints for now.
Entreri slashed at the Snover, creating a miniature vaccuum of air upon impact. The mountain Pokemon retaliated with a Razor Leaf, sending Entreri dashing backwards, dodging the flurry of razor sharp leaves to the best of his ability. He still had some damage, but had plenty of energy left.
"Okay, weaken it a little more with a Night Slash," Chloe instructed. Entreri nodded, yawning, as he thankfully complied, leaping from the snow once more, striking fast with his claws again. This time they were glowing faintly purple with dark energy.
The Snover raised a hand, sticking a finger in its mouth, before blowing. A strangely melodious tune stopped Entreri in his tracks. The Weavile cursed in his own tongue, but collapsed, and Chloe was worried, until she saw the even breathing on the Weavile's part.
"Grasswhistle," Chloe realized, reaching for an Ultra Ball. The Snover should be weakened enough by now.

"Alright, got him," Chloe grinned. The Ultra Ball had struggled for a moment, but the Snover didn't have enough energy to escape the capture device. Chloe went to retrieve the ball, but first, she woke Entreri. The Weavile seemed even more grumpy, not liking the tactics the Snover had used. Fights should be based on skill and agility, not putting your opponent to sleep, he believed. Seems Entreri had made another enemy...
"You really should lighten up a bit, you know? He did that because he knew you were stronger," Chloe explained. To which Entreri merely snorted.
But the Weavile stopped, seeing another figure in the snow. It was a Meditite.
"Hm, we certainly are popular, huh?" Chloe mused, picking up the Snover's ball, transporting it to her pc for now. She had to raise some others in her party first before swapping out.
"Wanna handle this one too?" Chloe asked Entreri, but she probably should have known better than to ask. The Weavile stretched, to limber himself up a bit from his inopportune nap, before charging at the Meditite.
"Turn it into an Aerial Ace, this one's weak against flying moves as well," Chloe called. Entreri complied, sending another wave of air currents around his claws, forming another vaccuum. He slashed at the Meditite, who was knocked back.

The Meditite countered with a Hidden Power, as Entreri finished off the fighter with one more Aerial Ace. He returned to Chloe's side, a little in a better mood than before. Chloe opted to head towards the docks.
She found the ferry a short bit later, retracing her steps from earlier, finding the old boat. She headed on board, finding a seat, as she tucked her pack under the seat.

Brayden had opted to go search for Kaya since it sounded like they hadn't located the prince yet. Since Train and the boy (he had to remember to ask his name later) were still semi near the Pokecenter, Brayden decided that his best bet would be to search in a wider arc around the town.
"Hm, I went out to the lake, so Kaya would have had plenty of time to move even away from town if he wanted to," Brayden mused, marching through the snow. Caliga was trotting along next to him, although he had recalled Sai a short bit ago.
"But... he wouldn't have left town, at least... I don't think he would have," Brayden continued looking to Cali, "What do you think?"
Caliga had nothing to offer that he could understand anyway, so the Umbreon figured it was rhetorical.

'Ari, can you get a location on him?' Brayden asked mentally. He felt a pause from the Gardevoir before she responded.
'Not sure. Of course I can locate you from a while away with no problems. But with others its a bit harder,' she admitted. It didn't sound like she enjoyed saying that she couldn't do it, 'I could probably sense him if we were closer, but as of right now, I couldn't say which direction he is.'
"Guess we'll just have to wing it, huh?" Brayden admitted, "Just tell me if you feel anything, okay?"

Hearing footsteps behind him, Brayden at first thought it may have been Kaya, but he recalled that Ari hadn't sensed him yet. Brayden paused, hearing the footsteps halt a split second later.
Now, that was weird...
Curious, Brayden turned. It was then that the Machoke charged. Brayden yelped, not having any time to counter, but Caliga leaped in front of him, blasting a Psychic at the fighting type. The fighter charged at the Umbreon, using a Vital Throw.
"Cali!" Brayden shouted, seeing his partner lifted up and tossed like a ragdoll. Caliga fell into the snow, skidding, before rising shakily, "You okay?!"
The Umbreon nodded, smiling faintly, before finishing off the Machoke with another Psychic. She was a bit shaken up, but no injuries to speak of.

He made his way through the light layer of snow that covered the streets. It would seem that they would need to plow again soon to keep the streets open for vehicles. While the snow had let up for a little while, Brayden could tell more was on the way. The constant cloud cover of the city was enough to show that was true.
Figuring he'd better stop skywatching while walking, Brayden turned his attention back to the ground. After all, he still had to find Kaya.
He decided after a bit of thinking to start out towards the outskirts of town, then working his way towards the docks. Whether he found Kaya or not, he'd end up where he needed to be to get to the island at the end of his search, so that approach made the most sense.

 The so far nameless, to the group at least, boy nodded to Nona's information and made his way to the Pokecenter. Looking around, he spotted several trainers who bore the Harmonian Essence. He could almost feel it coming from them as he watched them mill about. These ones were so unique to be Harmonian. They all seemed...normal. As if they were regular, everyday mainlanders. He approached the group and spoke softly. "I assume you lot are the ones seeking passage to the Harmony Island?" he questioned. He figured he'd leave it as simple as that for now.

Kaya found himself wandering aimlessly on the outskirts of town. His mind was lost to the world at the moment and he seemed to be having a mental argument.
"No! I won't abandon my family when they need me!"
~Leave them, then! Your family needs you more.~
"I won't abandon my friends either."
~Why? They're all useless! Nothing but troublemakers for you since Day 1!~
"Why would care if I've had a few troubles since I met them? Friendship means taking the good and the bad."
~But what about Brayden? He's only caused you more worry and heartache than anything!~
"I don't care! He's also the one who's been keeping you locked up, Gormach!"
~Why do you think you should leave him? Set me free again and you'll never have to deal with the pain for yourself. I'll take it all in and pretend like it doesn't bother us.~
"Go away!"
~Never! We're two sides of the same coin! Both heads on the King of Hearts. A pair of loaded dice.~
"You think that matters?"

The Prince's final yell echoed across the snowy landscape, frightening quite a few wild Pokemon from their perches. Several Noctowl took flight, a Graveler rolled away from him and a Meditite and Medicham pair afforded him a sympathetic look before they took their meditation deeper into the snow.

Brayden had been still making his way relatively leasurely through the streets, headed towards the outskirts. However, he stopped dead, hearing the scream. It took him only a moment to recognize Kaya's voice, his heart dropping to his stomach in dread. Brayden broke out into a run, kicking up snow, some of which landed on Caliga. The Umbreon sniffed, a bit irritated, but she knew that wasn't on purpose. She shook, sending the offending snow flying, before dashing off after Brayden.
Several things were running through Brayden's mind as he ran, none of them too pleasant. He inwardly cursed himself for relaxing while in the town. He had assumed that the group was safe now.
Weaving through the streets and buildings, Brayden followed the source of the scream as best he could. While it had echoed strangely through the buildings, muffled by the snow, he still could get a fairly good idea from where it had come from. And that's where he lay his trust in, running past several townspeople who only offered him some strange half-glances. It was rather odd to see a foreigner in a panicked dash through the streets after all. But Brayden didn't give them a thought.
While the cold air stung his throat a bit by the time he was breathing heavily, Brayden had more important things on his mind as he came to a skidding halt on the outskirts of town, panting heavily. Caliga came up beside him a moment later, apparently in much better shape than her trainer, for she wasn't breathing hard at all.
At first Brayden couldn't see Kaya, and that caused another wave of panic. What if he had gone the wrong way? But, a moment later he spotted the prince's silver hair, picking out the blue of his coat from the white of the snow around him. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Caliga crane her head back and glance around at the Noctowl that fled from the treetops in a flurry of disturbed pine needles and frantic wing beats.
"Kaya?" he called, although it came out more like a strange cough than anything sensible. Clearing his throat, his breath coming a little bit easier (he really had to remember to try to take up jogging or something) Brayden tried again.
"Kaya?" There. That was a little bit stronger.

(Okay, this is my last post now, until we get there. I just had to post a reaction to Kaya's shout. And I'll be gone for a week between the 25th and the 31st. With no Internet Access.)
From the ferry, Nona looked up as she saw a few Noctowl take flight from a place out on the edge of town. "...I wonder if that's Kaya..." she whispered, looking a bit green-around-the-gills from the ship's up-and-down motion. She turned to Chloe, raising an eyebrow. "Something might have happe-WOAH!"
She was going to go off the ferry, to help with the search, instead of waiting until everyone had come, warming seats for them...But she suddenly felt the urge to loose her lunch. So, instead, she ran to the side of the boat, with Bio back on her seat, and felt her stomach empty over the side of the boat.
