*Shots a small constant stream of energy into the explosion trying to make a small air bubble like area around him, protecting him from the blast. also puts up a strong barrier around himself in case it doesn't work.*

Irvine smirks at the barrier. He gives a whistle and Hurricane runs over, standing beside him. Irvine concentrates some dark energy into his hands and then putting them both out infront of him, he made an energy barrier of his own that shielded both him and his steed. The explosion hardly made Irvine's barrier shake as it began to destroy everything else. He looked up at the wall and saw a man in black standing there. Irvine's silver eyes glinted dangerously. He muttered the man's name.
"Mastema..."

((Actually Irvine Mastema's deep inside the sanctuary sweatdrop xp ))
*As the explosion finally passes the area all around is burnt to a crisp, it would be this way for a 2 mile radius. The lightning storm and rain that constantly came from the sky was still there same as ever. The barrier around the sanctuary was flaring with life. As it would be observed, there were now three layers of barriers around the sanctuary*

*Kogashi, who some how made it throgh that with no more then second dagree burns, growls at the new three layers of barriers.* ...s**t. *Waits for a few moments to gather up his energy again.*

*dark kaiori being bored but not able to fight sends out her magic, the shrubs, trees and grass regrow on the ground slowly but by the looks of how things were going she would have to do it again in the morning, but for now she pulls herself under her covers and falls asleep* ((gotta run guys night ^_^))

* flying to the battle he remains in the air on steel wings, just outside the reach of the explosion* the fun never stops * he holds out his sword as it absorbs the heat from the blast as he moves closer as the blast settles*

Irvine looked up at the new barrier. He quirks an eyebrow slightly and lowers his own shield. Hurricane pats his shoulder with his nose and Irvine looks over his shoulder at the horse. The horse whines some and Irvine nods as if he understood. He turned away from the castle. He remounted the horse and then dug his heels into Hurricane.
"Yah!"
Hurricane took off. Irvine looked back at the Castle one last time, then looked back ahead. He directed Hurricane towards the Black Company's headquarters.

*changes back into human form, his wounds healing as he glares at the barriers.* Just what I need, more s**t in my way. *Heads off to the closest hill to the santuarty, even though it's now most likely more then 2 miles away.*
