Mizuiro was also a little in shock, he didn't expect this at all. But he gladly took that headband. "I accept!" He then grabbed hold of the black cloth and put it around his head. He tied it up firmly and then looked over to Tenshi, who put his on the right arm. He through that was an interesting place, but he just preferred the simple and traditional around the forehead.
"So, do we get straight into missions, or what?" He was eager to get out there, and get his hands dirty.

Taka looked up, smiling, from the two new Genin, to the third person who would be receiving a promotion this day. "Well that depends on your new Sensei's reconmendation." Taka said, nodding to Yuri, and looking back down at the Hoshigaki. "Speaking of which, turn around and meet Yuri Tsubaki, newly promoted Jounin, and your Sensei." Taka said, as he moved to sit back behind his desk. "Sorry for the lack of pomp and ceremony, but these are trying times, so not much can be spared." Taka said, leaning back in his chair slightly before leaning forward, and leaning forward on his desk. With a serious look he looked at the group and smiled. "Regardless I release these Genin into your care. I know your squad will technialy be under strength, but we had a low graduation rate this year. Now go out and begin your training with them, report to me when you figure they're ready." He said, before leaning back again. "As for you Genin, have fun and listen to your Sensei, do not ignore any advice she may give."

He didn't hear the young woman come in, which was rather surprising with the large doors. He was, however, distracted with just receiving his headband. It was very weird being given a headband in a weird manner, no doubt the chunin wanted a ceremony to announce her rise to becoming a jounin. The Mizukage informed them that she would be their new sensei. He gave a bow to their new sensei "My name is Fubuki Tenshi, Yuri-sensei. Congratulations on your promotion."

When the Mizukage mentioned her promotion a small smile crept onto Yuri's face. It was both expected and unexpected at same time causing an almost neutral feeling when the event actually came about. With the amount of missions that she'd been on the girl figured that she was a prime candidate and with one less Jounin doing missions (due to the naming of a Mizukage) there were openings in the ranks. She simply nodded in acknowledgement as he regretfully spoke about the lack of ceremony. It's okay though, I'd just be bored if I had to sit and listen to people drone on about me at a promotion ceremony. she thought to herself. When he finished speaking she said, "Shouldn't we at least be dating if you're going to give me children, Mizukage-sama?" There it was, her odd sense of humor delivered with a flat voice. She truly had no sense of humor compared to the average person.

Of the two young boys the Fubuki spoke first and confirmed her guess that he was in fact a Fubuki. She bowed slightly in acknowledgement of his greeting and congratulations. After which the Hoshigaki spoke. This surprised her somewhat as she figured the Hoshigaki to be men of action and found his delayed response unusual. The difference in delivery between Mizuiro and Tenshi made her giggle slightly. "Obviously, I am Tsubaki Yuriko and from now on I will be your teacher." she said before glancing back to the Mizukage and nodding her head. "Hmm, before we get to the fun stuff we have some basic things that I need to cover. Follow me." Yuri then walked out of the Mizukage's office and back to the elevator. She waited for the two boys before going back down to the first floor. Once outside the Mizukage's office she let herself drop into a seated position. Her hand patted the ground twice, motioning for the two genin to sit down. So, it's time for an ice breaker. Please state your name again, what you like and dislike, and your hopes for the future."

Do all the women in this village have the same sense of humor? She's not the related to Bumu-sensei, is she? He bowed his head to the new Mizukage before following his teammate and teacher. She sat down in the dirt and motioned for them to sit down. He followed suit and listened to Mizuiro's response. Tenshi wasn't too surprised by what he listed, though he was glad to have someone on his team to strive for strength, which was his weakness. After being certain Mizuiro was finished, Tenshi spoke up, "I am Fubuki Tenshi, I love sushi, my wakizashi, and training. I don't care to get dirty, extreme heights, and the ocassional ghost. Lastly, I hope to gain honor as well as mastering the art of swordsmanship." Ever since the mission with the ghosts of Kiri he had found something he hated and loved, not to mention a learning experience. It was natural for him to talk about honor, and no doubt everyone knew it, so he added a little more to give him something physiacl to work on.

Shinzu thanked the receptionist, and turned to Batsu, flashing a nervous smile. Going over to the Elevator he pressed the up button and the doors quickly opened. Right before he walked in he saw Tenshi and Mizuri, both with headbands. "Hey do you both graduate? Congradulations! Maybe we'll have a multiteam exercise before the chuunin exams." Shinzu said with a grin before getting in the elevator and waiting for Batsu. Once he was inside Shinzu pressed the up button and the elevator swiftly took to the Mizukage's Office itself. When the elevator opened Shinzu lead the way out, feeling confident, sorta. The two Anbu agents stopped them and asked for identification. Reaching back Shinzu pulled out his Ninja ID card, and showing it to the guards was allowed inside. Taking one last deep breath he stepped into the Office.

He was greated by Taka sitting down on his desk, reading over some document or another, two of his hawks standing on thier perches to his right, and three others, also on perches, to his left. "M-Mizukage-Sama?" Shinzu said, standing ramrob straight. "Me and Batsu would like to volunteer to go on one of the missions we heard were going to aid nearby villages.." Shinzu said, perhaps talking faster then he should've.

Batsu stood next to Shinzu, bbut a few feet away. He looked at the Mizukage as Shinzu spoke, although it was quite obvious that Shinzu was a bit intimidated. Why? He didn't know. But Batsu was just as calm as ever.

Mararaku rolled in and knocked on the door, her face had the remnants of tears, and her eyes puffy, but all of that replaced with fury as she heard that last bit. "Well thank you too Lord Mizukage, maybe I should go tell the clan leaders that our presence in the village isn't appreciated, as I can totally see that my presence on this team isn't." She walked in a little further and said, "Here I was, training alone like I always end up doing, when I started thinking that the exams were going to be a team event at some point and that we should work out some formations, as I am going to meet with you guys I see you walking in here and decided to wait outside, because I figure it isn't any of my business if you guys didn't tell me to come. But you know what! You two go on and have your secret mission, train without me and make fun of me behind my back." She shot a look to Batsu. "Word travels fast around here, I get to hear about the nasty things you say about me." She looked at Taka and said, "I was going to ask to switch to the team that just graduated, but seeing as your last little comment was so spiteful Lord Mizukage I can see that even you don't want me around." She looked back at Shinzu and said, "If you didn't want to date me, fine, but I thought you were at the very least my friend Shinzu." Her eyes began to tear up again, then she shot a look at Taka before running out, not wanting to let them see her tears.
