Kidd was relieve to see Darius dodge the ice beam. that was way too close. Kidd had had it up to here with the over loading power deal. she pushed herself up to her feet and pointed her hands down.
"Darius! I'm going to try to burn some of this off. zap the ice when it gets too big! If i go berserk zap me!" Kidd nodded and focussed her self the we she did when it was hard to make a snow back. the ice fired out of her hands blasting her upward. she made a huge column. she didn't feel he self get weaker, so she made it thinker. this could take a while.

"alright" he said getting out of the water. he'd rater not fry every fish in the water, that and he could not garentee he would miss kidd either. as kidd super ice colum grew he try to keep it bellow ten feet. 'man talk about burning off steam' he thought as he saw steam from the combonation of melting ice and electricty.'i got to keep going...'.he was starting to get a little tired but the thought ok kidd kepped him going.(awwww xd )

"Ok, lets go then."

Jean, motioned to the girl and set off down the hallway, her pace was quick as she didn't know how crucial the situation was. All the good Professor had told her was that they needed to retrieve another New Recruit, Kidd, and apparently her powers were starting to overbear the young mutant. Don't I know the feeling, thought Jean to herself.

Within moments, the pair were outside the mansion and in the garage. Before them was a small selection of various cars for the students to use, within reason of course. Scott's red convertible was obviously off-limits, so instead, Jean settled for the X-Hummer. Jumped into the front seat and turning the keys in the ignition.

"So you have any clue where she is, or am I going to have to search for her?" Jean asked, Becky as she waited for the younger teen to get buckle up.

OOC: Guys, when you respond to this try to type more the a sentence (And not just two, we're expecting paragraphs in this guild: 5-6 sentences long at the least). And please, mind your grammar and spelling. It's getting to be unbearable. And as for quoting everyone's posts, try to keep that to a minumum, it makes the RP look cluttered.

Forgetting about talking to Lance Toad went back to gazing at the pool water, the resin that he had spat into the pool had floated on the surface, surly Toad himself would do the same thing. Then again water meant bath and bath meant soap. And Soap wasn't fun, soap was evil, like Hitler or something. But the water looked so cool and the air was so hot.

Making up his mind Mortimer crouched down then sprung up into the tree, from where he quickly looked around to see if anyone was carrying soap with them. When none was found, Toad inched his way towards the end on the branch he was now sitting on. The shallow end of the pool beneath him and the deeper water was no farther then a jump for him. Slowly, the frog-boy tensed his leg muscles then with a soft TWANG of the branch as it was relieved from it's extra weight, Toad was airborne. He completed two aerial flips before landing with a large splash in the water and coming back up to the surface. Where he stayed for a moment, smiling and looking around for those who his splash had gotten wet, unaware that he was slowly sinking. Unfortunately the moment ended when his eyes went under. Then it turned into shear panic, as Toad began thrashing around trying desperately to reach the surface again, it was clear he had forgotten that he didn't know how to swim when he had first jumped.

"You're very welcome. It's very hard to come by a good comedian these days." She said with a wink then watch the amphibious mutant do an impressive dive then sink. "Oh dear...poor boy. He needs some swimming lessons." Once the blonde was out of the pool Zion handed her a diet soda. "You hadn't looked at the bottom of the cooler." She said and sat down next to the blonde one only with a can of coors light for herself. "You alright in there now?" She called out to Mortimer.

Damion flinched. What the hell is wrong with that thing he thought as he stared at the nearly drowning toad putting on quite a show. Well until Valerie ruined it anyway. He didn't quite get how all that water did not make her gain weight but he assumed that considering she was a woman and the word fat might come up it would be best to leave it be.

"You are putting that back right?"

Julianna had reached the decision that she needed a bowl of popcorn. This place was better than a soap opera. She watched as Toad took a flying leap into the pool only to start drowning himself. Valerie to the rescue it seemed. The warning tremor from Lance pulled her attention away from that scene. Lance seemed to be the topic of conversation. Personally she really didn't see the humor in taking shots at him so she returned her attention to Valerie. "Say........." She gropped for her name. "Valerie?" That was it. "What do you do with the water you soak up?" She asked out of mild curiousity.

Calros teention went to Victoria and he thought about it for a moment. He stood up and went back to the coffee machine as the others talked. He listened intently trying to let his slow mental wheels turn and process everything at their scattered and unfocused rate. Icecream finaly registered as he started sipping a new mug, leaning against the counter. "As much as I'd like to... I'm the lay down and count stars type. I need sleep anyway... If I ever can sleep... " He hastily drank what was left then went to the sink and rinsed out the mug only to drink abit of water to quell the burning in his throat. He then went back to the machine and turned it off, then left the still half full pot there. " if anyone else wants coffee welcome to it. I'ma go lay down outside...." usually carlos would love to make friends but as of late was the last thing on his mind. add to that he was actually tired and had a good chance of dropping where he stood coffee or not, he was abit cranky and anti sociable to do anything. He instead made his way back towards the front entrance and exited to step onto the lawn and eventually sit there thinking as the caffein in his stystem ebbed away.
