I don't have a name for my flute, but a tuba player in our band named her tuba Oscar, and once we had three trombones who we all called Larry, Curly, and Mo because they acted like the 3 stooges...I know you're thinking I mean the people, but I mean the instruments xd

I named my clarinet Rocky. I haven't given my violin a name yet. I'm still thinking of a name that will suite it well blaugh

I love them all and have NAMED them all......... sweatdrop blaugh mrgreen
ok here goes.....
1. Flute: "Impa" (don't ask it's something from Zelda)
2. Guitar: (Acuostic) "May".........I gots it in May.
(Electric) "Grevious"....... from Star Wars. mrgreen
3. Violin: "Yoko" .......I was reading the CASHEE test at my school and I saw this word problem that had that name in it. cool
4. Piccalo: "Shy" ....... I have no idea I just name the instrument based on what it says to me in the music. I would have named it "s**t" in the case of it makes so much noise. xp xp
5. Pan Flute: "Oko"....... It's the name of an endangered wolf in the animal care center I work at. When I play my pan the sound as though talks about him.
6. Drums: I really didn't name my instrument but for the purpose of band I often have called them "Figets". I can not explain this one.... whee nope mrgreen .
AND 7. My Piano: this old dudes name is "Bogo" on account that the color of him says to me... bambo which is brown..... I have no idea what that has to do with "Bogo" but hey music is the talent to talk with your instruments.
Listen to what they say and it will make sense dont worry I know I'm crazy. mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen blaugh

my clarinet name is jelly roll martin. in 9th grade is when i became a hard core band geek because of marching band. and i sat on the end in band class. i had not named my clarinet let but everyday i would see a poster of jell roll martin playing a clarinet. so thats what i named my clarinet. till this day i still call it jelly roll for short.

I like to change my instruments' names. =)
Back in the fourth grade, we were doing a short unit in history about English rulers, and I thought that the name "Mary, Queen of Scots" was fitting -- but it seems somebody already has that name. I had mine first!
My guitar is named Vincento, because I've always liked the name.
I'm getting another flute my senior year, and I know that the name will change quite a few times, but right now I'm stuck on "Genevieve", because it'll be a sterling-silver, gold-plated, French-holed, low-B footjoint Jupiter or Gemeinhardt, and I thought the name was fitting. One of my friends named her French harp "Genevieve", too. Fancy that.

One of my friends named my plastic clarinet Mr. Fluffeluffs since is was "fluffy" compared to hers. My friend has mental issues. Since then, he's been called Mr. Fluffeluffs, Mr. Fluffalumps, Mr. Flumpalump, Fluffels, and so on.
Another friend of mine named her clarinet Abdacrahman Archibald Yannis Fubunni. I'm not even sure I spelled that right. She taped his name on the case, but most of the letters rubbed off, so now his name is Abda Archibald Yannis...yeah.
My brother at one point in time named his saxophone Pettllels. Or Goosey.
I still need to name my wooden clarinet. My friend that named my other one suggested "Mr. Fluffeluffs the II" but...no. Never again.

My clarinet was Bilbo. Then, I got another and named it Banshee. My oboe is named Fitzroy....I don't know why.

My flute is named Scamper. It's my favorite instrument and always has been since I was growing up, and Scamper was my all time favorit childhood movie, that I still watch everynow and then.

I haven't named my bari sax, mostly because it isn't mine. But I still love it and call it "My Baby" if that counts?
My alto. I named it once but I can't remember what I called it. It was something weird like, "Sexy Potato."
Gosh, I think that IS the name. O_o

My wooden clarinet's name is Sophie. My plastic clarinet's name is Vincent for some complicated reason I can't recall. Something to do with explosions, and comparing the explosion of spit that comes forth when disassembling him, it's kind of like a rain shower... of saliva. Unless it's marching season... then it's saliva and sweat. >.<
Sophie still explodes with drool, but she's got a much prettier tone quality and she's not quite as airy... and she's so pretty! Vincent is still just as pretty as his sister, but his tone quality isn't quite as classical and sexy. He's more a marching instrument, while Sophie's a concert instrument.
Then, there's my trumpet, Yoru. Don't know the provocation of his name... BUT I LOVE YORU! ::Huggles instruments.::
