 Ryker leaned heavily against a wall, eyes scanning the crowd for his roommate. He couldn't deny that he was still having a fairly good time, but he still missed his friend. He wasn't thinking that maybe he was missing him for another reason, that maybe there was another reason he liked hanging out with the goblin so much... That maybe sleeping the in the same room was more than just because they were friends who really liked to cuddle. With Ms. Jackson, of course. Still. He sighed and went to look around for Matty again, but ended up at the librarians table picking up a book.

 Darrah ended up sitting there with his Coatl, eating the entire box of chocolates. He leaned back against the wall and sighed. Maybe he shouldn't have eaten all that chocolate. Oh, but it had tasted so good! His Coatl lay sprawled across his lap and he giggled a little, stroking the little snake like creature. "Maybe we should have saved some of that for later," he said with another sigh. He decided then that it might be better for them to just sit there and chill for a little bit.  Bibiana was beginning to wish she had brought a bag for all her things as she tried to manage all of them in her arms. She was having a really good time, though, and she hoped she would continue to do so. She hummed softly as she pet Baby, her new vespercat. The feline enjoyed the head rub and purred happily, curled up in her arms among the plushies and trinkets. Meanwhile, Bibiana tried her hand at a game, but with so many things in her arms, she didn't manage to win anything this time. "Ah, well. Next time, right Baby?" she said with a giggle.

 Nasrin was happily cuddling his new jackalope friend when he felt something brush against his leg. With a gasp, he looked down and then giggled when he saw a blue and white vespercat begging for attention. Funnily enough, it looked exactly like another of his plushies! It seemed he was collecting familiars to match his plushies. He knelt beside the feline and stroked her fur, smiling when she began to purr for him. His jackalope leaned closer to the vespercat, curious and almost disdainful of the feline. He sniffed at her and then snorted again.  "Fi-fix that? I... um. I've always be-been shy. I duh-don't know how wuh-one would fix it?" She looked honestly confused by this, but also hopeful. It would be nice to not be embarrassed in front of new people, or to not turn bright colors at the proverbial drop of a hat!
"Yuh-you've never had spuh-spiced cider? Oh you huh-have to try it!" 'Lilah looked SERIOUS about this. When Chessy found the cider cups, she beamed happily and snagged one for herself, and sipped, with a look of pleasure on her face, while watching her new friend. "Guh-go on. Yuh-you'll like it, I'm pretty sure!"

 "I'm glad my offering pleased you." She tried to maintain the pseudo-solemn tone except for that goofy grin. Red eyes darted to follow Vanna's movement, and she glanced back at the younger chimera when Mai spoke. "Well, at least he comes back," the green chimera joked just as Vanna returned carrying an injured nezubat. "You must have great peripheral vision to spot it," was her remark to Vanna before leaning in close to inspect the injured familiar, "Does you think it needs a splint or something?" She noticed a colored blur from the corner of her eye and deftly caught the locket from the air, "Okay now this is just plain dangerous." she growled a little beneath her breath. ----------------- In her wanderings, Verve decided they wanted something to hug and settled for a plushie. ----------------- Amihan wasn't really sure what else to say or do at this point but by golly she was going to see this to the end. ----------------- Charmstar liked pink a lot. And so it was only normal that he would end up picking a bright pink plush for himself. ----------------- Shard just grinned at Ganymede and Leilah's reactions. He would have added more to what he saw was simply good-natured ribbing when Gany lit up like a beacon. And of course this only resulted in yet another plushie landing smack dab against Shard's face. "Okay, next time I tease you about special someones, I'm gonna do it in an anti-plushie cage." He said, making a face in the process. And just like that, the blue imp excused herself, cementing the impression in Shard's mind that Leilah might still have a lingering crush on Gany. "See ya, Leilah!" With a grin, the baphomet turned to Gany, "So. Is what Leilah said right? You got someone else you wanna be alone with?"nepsah OvO personal questions? What is that? Is that like the questions Shard asks? Leopleuradon Shard wishes Leilah stuck around because he is Mr. Nosy ----------------- ----------------- The nixie shyly took out the book Caramel had gotten for her and suddenly got the urge to eat chocolates. So she found herself a box and continued to read. ----------------- Hearing that there was an older someone who came around to make sure Lilo was doing alright lowered Wayne's indignation. Not by too much though. "'Kay, I'll keep an eye out for 'em. So's they know yer with me and that yer okay." He glanced back at her, "Are you okay? Yer not hungry or nuthin' like that?" Truth be told he wouldn't mind a bite or two himself, but he could tolerate it. His hunger hadn't yet reached the audible tummy-growling stage. At the question on plushies, the imp frowned. "Uh, I ain't real good at saying if something's cute. But I'll get a plushie too," he tried to shoo away the vespercat that had taken to following them, but it simply ignored his attempts and even began rubbing against him. "I'll get this plushie, but if you think you'll like the one I got better, just tell me and we'll swap. Okay?" he asked the other freshling for confirmation. C-C-CaFFIENE Wayne says he is not cute and puffs his cheeks at you ----------------- While Renge continued to watch the two, someone decided their table needed a top-up of sweets and deposited a box of chocolates. "Oooh yummy! Dig in, you two~ Oh wait um wipe your hands after you get some before you continue making the plushies." “Well he’s very good about that at least” Mai laughed and then had to give a ridiculous look when apparently people start throwing objects of all things. “It’s very dangerous today. I don’t remember Vanna mentioning anything about other things getting tossed but I guess it is the festival of love and you can get carried away I suppose….” She trailed off as something suddenly flew by her Luckily the object landed in her hands when she moved to catch it. Bringing it down for inspection she was looking at an Amethyist… great now they were throwing rocks. Had someone spiked the drinks? “non the less you should definitely take the poor critter to the vet as soon as possible Vanna” yep definitely wasn’t going to tell her overly protective brother that rocks where being thrown at her now and the poor nezubat was an excellent way to move the subject to something else.   “His wing doesn’t look broken. He looks more like he got in a fight. I rescued this little guy here early today from a crow so the birds could be attacking them. Although I am worried that it was just walking in the middle of traffic. First chance I get I’ll take him to the vet” Vanna replied in question to him needing to split. “Ah… thank you. I guess it’s a talent I developed for my job.” Which was true. You didn’t pay attention to your surroundings you were dead; especially since the boss wanted to kill Vanna sine he kept contradicting his rather suicidal orders. Everyone was just waiting for him to overthrow the old coot and take over… but he was at a festival. Dark thoughts would be for later. Especially since apparently the injured nezubats colony friend came over and decided if Vanna was going to be taking care of his friend. It hopped in his bag awaking Arella. The blue Nezubat made a noise of protest before moving over. What was he the Nezubat whisperer… he knew he had to make for a funny sight with two nezubat perching on him and himself holding the last one. Well Kin was going to hate this. He could have probably gotten away with taking home one Nezubat but three… still they were kind of cute. He glared at Mai when she suddenly started laughing.   Amaidi had to admit it was a pretty fun festival even if it was utterly crowded with nightmares and daydreams. She hadn’t met anyone yet that could be considered a friend, or more likely she hadn’t met anyone at all. Still, she did have to admit that the booths and games where a lot of fun and the pieces of chocolate were extremely tasty. All in all she was having a fun time. She would definitely have to write home about it. Wanting to get something for the occasion she made sure she had enough money before checking out the booth. She ended up buying a rather pale purple ring. Ah well she had always liked purple.

 "I study fashion at Grendel university. I'm thinking of transferring to Leviathan so I can double major in enchanting. There's so much stuff you can do with magic. I could probably make some charms for clothes that make them impervious to stains, or hard to tear, or a bunch of other stuff. I'm just not sure if I want to double major in it, or if I want to try for self study." Morginn frowned a little as he considered his academic choices, tapping his needle against the table a little while his wings fluttered and his antennae wiggled. He was almost done with one plushie, and was about to start on the other. He then shrugged, cheerful smile back. "Well I'm still working on fashion for now, so I'll get to it at some point!" He eyed the chocolates, selected one to nibble on, then noticed a bag of brownies. He cheerfully snagged it, opening it so that Renge and Raleka could grab one if they wanted, and nibbled on one himself while he eyed the pieces to his second plushie. Amihan completely missed the squeak and what it meant, she missed the squaring of the hooves, because, well, she was more than a little excited about the news. "Wellll, Ishy and I have made some calls and we're still trying to get our schedules to meet. But we've, like, totally agreed on imbuing some stones together~" she half giggled, half trilled. She tilted her head as a thought slowly made its way in her mind, "Should I have asked you instead? Nine's sake, I should have, shouldn't I?" Her eyes grew saucer-wide as she cupped her hands over her mouth, mentally telling herself to breathe, to relax. This was, after all, Mister Sheffield, and he was understanding, reasonable, if at times too quiet and calm. Smerdle No worries, I know how those bouts feel and how they can hit at any time x.x And Ami's still with Sheffield, probably just dragging him around because it's Ami XD Keep the familiar, bby~

"I can understand plushies, and the jewelry to some extent. But rocks?" If Mytrax had been softly growling at finding lockets being hurled at random, her hackles were definitely raised when it was rocks being thrown around. There was a pretty visible twitch to one of her eyes as she glared at the stone then towards the general direction it had come from. "That's a relief, it might be difficult to find an open vet during a festival." Vanna's growing nezubat collection was just enough to keep Mytrax from excusing herself to go and have a quiet word with whoever was in charge with prize distribution. At the mention of job, the green chimera's interest perked, "What sort of job? Security?" she asked Vanna. She tried to think of other possible fields where good eye-sight and careful scrutiny of one's surroundings might be a requirement. "Or perhaps flight?" Nasaiki Mytrax is also, uh, pretty protective of her fellow chimeras, especially the younger ones XDDDD she tries to be the best responsible big sister she can be.

"I go to Leviathan," Raleka said, as she attempted to follow Morginn's instructions. "I'm studying Botany."
She listened to Morginn's explanation of his own study curriculum, and she nodded. "I think our Enchanting program is really good. I haven't heard any complaints, at least." Even if Raleka wasn't within any prominent social circles, she certainly heard a lot while she walked around campus.
 As both Fey followed her lead and offered candy, she was flattered, but couldn't take much. She could only handle so much chocolate! "Thank you," she said, as she reached in and broke off a piece of one brownie, delicately placing it on her tongue. The hybrid licked the crumbs off her pale green fingers before getting back to work with sewing the plush she was working on. She couldn't believe how quickly Morginn was doing it!
As Raleka finished putting the last stitch in the first arm, and began to turn it inside-out, the person beside her stood up and left. One of their plushies fell out of the bundle they had in their arms and landed squarely on the chair next to her. "Hey, you left your flitterat!" she called out after them, but they didn't hear. Then again, it's not like she raised her voice much. The hybrid shrugged, giving a little smile at her luck today, and added the stuffed animal to her own pile.
