Autumn won another friend ball at one of the other games, putting it inside of her pouch with her tickets. She then moved on to play darts, and all ten darts popped a balloon. She took her six tickets happily, then went along to other games.

The feraligatr gave a jolly growl in appreciation at the praise. Leon was quite impressed with that his starter seemed to be learning such smooth moves. He would have commented, but was soon busy sweeping Isis off of her feet into a dance. Kai was more than happy to have Dumuzi dance with him, even though things seemed to escalate between his younger buddies. The gator tilted his head with a grunt at the situation, hoping that it wasn't going to escalate. He just wanted to have fun and chill! And eat food, if he could get it. Such simple wants- couldn't they just be fulfilled without this negative energy?
Leon was having a good time dancing with Isis. He couldn't keep the grin off of his face at her surprise. At least it was welcomed, though. The raven haired male blinked as she thought he might have done Zumba classes or something like that. "Nah, I've never been to those. I usually just dance around my house, and sometimes out on the beach when nothing's going on on my shift." he responded.
Unfortunately, the song eventually died down, and in the process, Isis and Leon heard Theo's angry response to Dumuzi. Isis didn't take kindly to it. Leon didn't like what he heard, either. He wasn't shoving his 'advice' down Theo's throught. In fact, he was only pointing out that there is a significant difference between battling wild pokemon and trained pokemon. And making the suggestion that he should go battle for himself. If the boy wanted to take that as advice, then that was on him if he was going to get all huffy about it. However, Isis pretty much had the whole thing covered, getting between Theo and Dumuzi and telling him what's what. Leon had followed Isis over, feeling a bit awkward. He kinda wished that such a thing didn't happen. Having such an argument with someone else at the festival. Isis made very good points though, and he wasn't going to stop her. "If you are going to be angry about that, that's on you, Theo. You shouldn't take it all out on your date; a pretty little girl like Dumuzi doesn't deserve to be treated that way. Like Isis said, if you have a problem, take it up with us." Leon added simply. "Raaaa raaaaa raaaa raaaaaaa raaa" Kai added in his two cents, then grunted, just wanting things to just blow over.

Huey had come to enjoy playing Wheel of Fortune, it was an easy game that relied on a decent arm and luck, there was no skill behind it or truly needed. With both hands jammed onto his hips, the eleven year old stared the great wheel down, envisioning himself getting a good number. It was all in the mind, y'know? He breathed in, as if preparing for a marathon, yanked the game with all his might and watched it go... and go... and go, before finally landing on a six. Which earned him six tickets. Which wasn't bad, not in the slightest. Perhaps that good feeling he'd gotten coming off the Seagallop hadn't just been too much optimism after all.
As Huey walked away, aimlessly wandering towards the next game, he began to think of just what exactly he'd do with the large amount of tickets he'd accumulated. Spend them, of course, but just what sort of items? He didn't even know what they had available. As the sight of a Darts game stall came closer he decided he'd check out his options the next chance he got.

Dumuzi was silent as the maelstrom of blame and accusations started to be flung in her direction. Anger started to simmer in her being as Theo started to rant and rave about how he was ignored and how he couldn’t do anything to add to the conversation, making excuses like a child. Dumuzi closed her eyes in attempt to calm herself down and think of the words that she could use to make Theo understand that his actions had consequences and that if he wanted to join in, all he had to do was say something, in a positive way, to steer the conversation in a direction that he wanted. Dumuzi’s fury was bridled just in time, as Isis came into the conversation breathing fire and brimstone at the grown child and pretty well summing up everything that she was feeling about the matter. Dumuzi’s eyes opened in surprise when Isis came to her aid and gave it to Theo with both barrels, sticking up for her when Theo was trying to corner her with the accusations and make her out to be the worst of the two of them. How long had it been sense that happened for her? When was the last time that someone stuck up for her in this way? She couldn’t remember. And not only Isis, Leon came to her defence as well, the comment about being a pretty little girl made her cheeks warm considerably, and if this was any other time, she may have teased him a bit for his young choice of women. But she didn’t. Dumuzi clenched her eyes shut and lowered her head. These two had made her feel so good about herself, and now they were standing up for her when Theo was snapping at her for his own short comings. She was getting tired of this constant fighting with Theo. She didn’t want to have this sort of thing follow her around while she was journeying around the regions. She wanted her experiences to be positive so that she could be happy. She needed to build herself up as a stronger person, she knew that she couldn’t rely on Isis and Leon forever, especially sense they were going to be parting ways after the festival. Okay, so Theo could have worded himself a little better about him not being here to dance and that it wasn’t that he didn’t want to socialize. But the rest of his words only served to stir the embers of something that had been sitting there for a while. Dumuzi was thankful for Isis stepping in when she did. It gave Dumuzi time to calm herself down and put things into a better prospective for herself and what to say to Theo.
”You know, when I started this journey, I wanted it to be a positive thing in my life. I wanted it to be something the built up my confidence after years of other kids tearing it down because of my various likes, dislikes and preferences. I wanted it to be something that I could be proud of, something that would help me build some inner strength and teach me how to overcome my obstacles that get into my way without folding or backing down.” Dumuzi raised her head, her eyes still closed as she did so, giving her almost a serene look to her. ”It’s the reason that I wanted to build a pokemon team of Fairy types. I did it because I love them. I remember when you said that you thought that collecting only one type of pokemon was stupid when we were in the forest. I understand where you are coming from on that, but it still hurt. You reminded me of when the other kids at school would make fun of me for like them. Ever sense then, I’ve tried to get to know you. I’ve tried so hard to create conversations with questions and ice breakers… but you never really did anything to add to that conversation. It made me feel as though I wasn’t interesting, or that I wasn’t worth getting to know. Everything that you learned about me was because I told you. Your problem is that you don’t want to get to know people, you don’t want to explore them and get to understand them more and when they start to give up on the one way conversations that they’re having with you, you turn around and blame them. It doesn’t work that way.” Dumuzi pushed herself up from the wall. She really didn’t need this right now. It was bad enough that she was starting to get troubled by her past, but she was being blamed by Theo for not including him, he twisted things around on her to make her feel bad, to try and guilt trip her because… what? She was out-casting him because he wasn’t getting in on conversations? ”I’m sorry Theo, but… I can’t allow myself to be surrounded by negativity when I’m trying to make positive changes in my life. I can’t keep playing this game with you because it’s so exhausting for me and it’s getting me worked up for no reason. I wish you luck on your journey, Theo, but I really don’t want to be chewed on every time something happens and you can’t see things from another perspective or you decide to get offensive because of something happens that you don’t like but can’t be bothered to take control of. I didn’t come on this journey to walk on eggshells around someone, all we’re doing is getting mad at each other, it seems. I think the best thing for us to do is go our separate ways from now on… I can find my own way back to Kalos.” Du was getting tired of all of this, to be honest. She had some things she needed to sort through in her own head, she didn’t want to have to deal with Theo and this sort of mentality while she was doing it. Dumuzi came alongside Kai and gently rested a hand on his arm and smiled up at him, it was a sad smile, but one none the less. ”How about one more dance, handsome? Then I think I should get going.” She wished that she could stay with Isis and Leon for a while, but maybe it was time that she let them get back to their date. She had both of their numbers if she needed them.

Theo sighed. He couldn't process everything they were all saying. Why did they have to say so much right after the other. Okay. Dumuzi was pretty much, as it stood, breaking up with him. Er....Socially. Isis was angry, after including herself in his and Dumuzi's conversation. And, Leon...thought Dumuzi was a girl? A lot more was said, but he couldn't recall it all."What are you...? Dumuzi's a boy. Though, I...see why you'd confuse him for a girl. Huh...."Wait. Was Dumuzi intentionally playing the part of a girl? If so, Theo felt horrible. A little inclusion on the plan would have been nice, though. This was not entirely his fault. Dumuzi knew he was oblivious. Mostly. Theo should've caught on, but he didn't."All of it. Precision, focus and a steady aim, all three were needed in a game such as Darts. It was just rather unfortunate that, in someway or another, Huey lacked in one of the three categories-- or at the very least didn't excel enough to land him more than one balloon per dart; though the last dart did manage to just barely graze a second balloon before it embedded itself firmly through its target and into the wooden board behind it. Despite the almost success of a fourth balloon, he walked away with two tickets.

Huey circled back around for another round of Ring Toss, hoping that this time he'd be able to accomplish something new, at least for him, and successfully get all three rings onto three bottles. It was a goal he hoped to accomplish before he left the festival, and as the third ring fell back to the earth with a thump, the two before it hanging proudly from the necks of two Moomoo bottles, it would still remain an uncompleted goal. Huey took his five tickets, stretched his arms up towards the darkening sky, and contemplated grabbing another snack. Cotton candy this time.

There were quite a few stands that sold the sticky sugar Huey desired but the blonde wasn't the only one who wanted to buy cotton candy, as the line he currently stood in proved. There wasn't any great urge to get back out into the games and earn a few more tickets, at least.. not any that overpowered his desire for candy-- but then again, there was very little that ever did-- so he didn't necessarily mind waiting patiently in line. He'd just keep himself entertained, and did so by humming the lyrics to a song he couldn't quite remember the entirety of, or even half of it; the boy simply hummed the song's chorus over and over again, like a broken record. Huey rocked back and forth on his heels, shifted the weight of one foot to the other, stuffed his hands into his pockets and absently ran the pads of his thumb over the many tickets stuffed inside. He moved about idly, unable to stand completely still.
Throughout his jitters and failed attempts to keep his mind occupied, Huey failed to notice Tybalt slip away and head off towards the arcade, though he did manage to catch his return. With a disappointed expression scrawled across his face, the Kirlia presented three tickets to his trainer. "Thanks Ty." his gratitude was expressed immediately, much to the other's relief, and the boy reached out to take the tickets before he pet the top of his head. He recognized his pokemon's urge to help him win tickets and couldn't find it in himself to reprimand or scold him for running off, not when it was his fault in the first place for not being more aware of his surroundings and, more importantly, his pokemon.
Thankfully the line quickly diminished and within minutes only a single person stood between Huey and his cotton candy. The man in front of him paid, took his food, and stepped out of line, just barely able to avoid having the back of his shoes stepped on by an overzealous eleven year old. There weren't many choices, flavor wise, and that was for the best, he might've spent forever trying to decide the exact flavor he wanted to taste as he grew one sweet closer to his first cavity. As it was, it only took a minute for him to buy three cotton candies, one for each of them, and move off to the side. "Is everyone having a good time?" he asked, the corners of his mouth already flecked with pink wisps of sugar. Dutch nodded firmly, his cotton candy already half-way gone. Tybalt's answer was just as eager, as was his eating: though his bites were dainty they were quick and taken every fifteen seconds. "That's good then." Huey spoke around a mouthful, pleased that he wasn't the only one thoroughly enjoying the festival and their treat.

✦ ✦Next up was the ring toss, Aria was hoping she could reclaim her place and land all three rings again. Then again, she hadn’t had the best of luck when it came to a lot of these games. Taking up her three rings, the Delphox took a breath to help focus before she flung each and every one. Unfortunately, two of the rings landed severely short of their targets, but at least she had managed to get at least one around a bottle. Not exactly the kind of score she’d been looking for, but it was certainly better than not getting any of the rings at all. She took her two tickets, and started straight for the arcade next.✦ ✦

✦ ✦Stepping into the arcade tent, Aria flexed her fingers and rolled her shoulders as she prepared herself. She wasn’t going to leave Tanabata without turning things around for her here… These arcade games weren’t going to get the better of her, not this time… She found a nice-looking 2D old school side scrolling game, walking over to it and immediately getting to work as she got settled with the controls. With her best game face on, she blasted through the majority of the levels with relative ease, her determination serving to fuel her skills as she put down enemies left and right and crushed every boss that came her way. She was almost to the final boss when she finally ran out of lives, but needless to say her score was undeniably far better than the past several times. Aria allowed herself a smirk of pride as the machine pumped out seven tickets for her great score, NOW they were talking! The Delphox giggled gleefully as she accepted her tickets, deciding to do a little celebratory dance as she moonwalked her way out of the tent while getting all kinds of jiggy with it, feeling pretty damn good now that she had managed to redeem herself.✦ ✦

✦ ✦Aria was certainly feeling grand as she came out from the arcade tent, pulling off a neat little pirouette to finish off her celebration routine. She had managed to beat the arcade at its own game for once, no one made a fool out of Aria the Delphox and thought they could get away with it! She decided to go for the fortune wheel again, wondering what her luck would bring for her today. The Delphox patiently waited in line for her turn, humming and happily swaying as she approached the wheel when her turn came at last. She gave the wheel a hearty spin, hoping to get something good out of it since she had been scoring quite decently with this game. A three was what the pointer ended up landing on, certainly not great, but at the same time not as bad as getting a one. She was happy to take her three tickets, and moved on to the next game with a neat little pile in hand.✦ ✦

✦ ✦Thalia couldn’t help but noticed the troubled look on Natalia’s face, the Sylveon tried to offer some comfort as she snuggled close to the girl, nuzzling her and gently stroking her cheek with a feeler. The Fairy-type smiled softly as the girl kissed her on her forehead, before glancing towards Aiden as they searched the marketplace for a vendor to get some lemonade. He had finally managed to find a stand that didn’t have too long of a line by the town outskirts, operated by two little girls who looked to be twins. It was clear that Natalia seemed quite uncomfortable with approaching them, her tense posture and her stuttering words were obvious signs. She tried to weasel her way out of it, asking Aiden to buy lemonade for her as she offered some money to him. However, the blonde would have none of it, and soon he was taking her hands, giving it a gentle squeeze, and was tugging her along as they approached the stand to get in line. Natalia tried to object, but Aiden was quick to try to dispel her fears with a few comforting words, saying that there was nothing to be afraid of and that he understood if she was nervous around kids. She still seemed rather adverse to the idea, but accepted it with a rapid nod when he offered to do all of the talking. He felt her tense up as they were next up, Thalia gently holding onto Natalia with her feelers as the girl held her close for comfort. Aiden had to admit, the twins running the stand were quite adorable. One of them was clearly a fan of Sylveon, judging from the decorative pins she wore in her hair and the admiring gaze she gave to Thalia before they both addressed the two trainers. The blonde handled the situation well, complimenting the adorable setup of the stall and ordering two lemonades for himself and Natalia. All the while, the brunette was stiff and tense as the transaction was made and they were handed their lemonades. Aiden smiled warmly as the twins thanked them for their business, and were soon off to handle the next customer in line. With that taken care of, they moved away from the lemonade stand, the blonde walking quickly to keep up with Natalia’s brisk pace. He was happy to hand over one of the lemonades to her, and she took it and stowed it away in her bag for later. When they had gotten a good enough distance away from the stand, Natalia began to relax as Aiden turned his attention to her, packing his own lemonade away into his bag. She thanked him, and apologized for her rather odd behavior during their encounter with the children. She said that she would prefer to not be in close proximity to kids if she could help it, and the blonde-haired boy gave her a small smile and a nod of understanding. ” You’re very much welcome, and don’t worry too much about it… I’m sure you have your reasons,” he said, rubbing the back of his head in a sheepish manner, ” Sorry for dragging you over there… It won’t happen again, though, I promise~” He did feel rather bad that he had essentially pulled her up there with him, even after she had tried to object to it. He hoped she wouldn’t be too upset with him over it, but at the very least they had gotten what they needed. ” In any case, let’s head on over to Cape Brink, shall we?” he offered with a warm smile, gesturing towards the path only a few yards away leading out of town and towards the further reaches of the island. He had heard people talking about a dance party going on over there when they had been browsing the market, and wondered if they could perhaps check that out before they left for Five Island.✦ ✦

Dumuzi approached the wheel and gave it a spin. Her mind was distracted with the thoughts of recent events and she wasn’t sure what to make of everything that had happened to her during this festival. She was hoping that the games would take her mind off things for a while, she kind of doubted it but she was still hoping that these minor games would at least give her mind some sense of inner peace, even if it was only for a while. Dumuzi watched absently as the wheel rotated around and around until it landed on the 10. It was a good start to her rounds that was for sure. Dumuzi thanked the vendor softly and placed her tickets in her bag and moved on with a slow, thoughtful gait.
