KittyClaws33 slowly opened her eyes and blinked to adjust to the brightness of the place.
"Oh wow...." she said in awe.
She looked around and saw that she was in a forest. The forest had nice hues and color variations of purples and pinks with signs on every tree.
When she took a few steps forward she realized that she heard a tickling sound near her ears. She reached up and realized her ears aren't where they were suppose to be. She felt just a little higher and found out she had...RABBIT EARS!
KittyClaws33 squealed in delight and checked out her outfit.
Fiddled with a whole red outfit with a style that suits her she also checked if she had any weapons.
As if with the thought, she hand....a dagger in her hands. "Niiiiiiiiiiicccccccccceeeee," she thought, and, after looking that she was in tip top shape, looked around.
There she saw an AI and walked up to it, the words [Welcome to Wonderland] above it's head. The AI talked about the game mechanics and how to play which KittyClaws33 was up to date in, and, after re-reading everything and having a basic understanding, she then typed in her username and began playing the game.
"Okay where to start...," then checking her map, she realized that there was an "!" icon on her map, and then decided to dash towards it, while listening to the sounds of the forest and getting use to the rabbit ears twitching to every sound.
Going pass the trees and following the path, she finally reached her destination.
It was a main sign with the words [Main Quest] on top with the "!" mark with it.
KittyClaws33 started to listen to the signs strange quest, asking her to look at 5 trees....? "Oh!" she thought, "Basic quest and mechanics."
With excitment, she accepted the quest and started walking up to her very first tree.

+1 Fragment! <1/5 trees>
"Ah-hah!" Snatching up the glasses, Teddominatiom turned to give them back to their troubled owner. Immediately, the tree snatched him up, showering him in hugs and thanks. It wasn't that he minded helping- no, really!- just that trees didn't seem to be the best providers of hugs.
When it released him, he fell to the forest floor with a squeak, and quickly readjusted his hat. Well! This seemed to be very odd indeed. Shuffling his way back to his feet, Teddomination pocketed his newly received fragment, and went to look for his next tree.
Hopefully, this one wouldn't be crying.

He almost passed the tree, almost. Maybe his mind would have been a little less muddled at this point if he had...
"You seem a little lost"
"What?" Looking up, he noticed a flying.... mouth? Narrowing his eyes he blinked a few times. Nope, it was still there.
"but not to worry. Everyone's quite lost here. I hope you find your way, there's so much more for you to get lost in."
Before he could even muster up his usual questions, the teeth vanished from their perch.
he was beginning to wonder if that tree was right. Was all logic impossible here?

"The impossible is possible... and if i am lost, and i will get more lost." He muled over in his ehad, trying to figure out what these talking trees and the flying mouth meant.
At least the ! seemed to be helping him to figure it out, it had pointed him in the right direction.
"I have a small question. I have two friends, Dilly, Milly, and Nilly. Nilly is taller than Dilly, but shorter than me. Dilly is shorter than Milly but taller than me. How tall am I?"
The voice came from no where, seemingly in the direction of this rather ordinary looking slender tree.
"...Come again?" He frowned at the tree, clearly who just recited a riddle. Huh. Thinking about it over and over, he tried to think up multiple variables... only.
"Your riddle is flawed." Was the first thing he said, taking this chance to actually lean against another tree (if they minded they were quiet about it.)
"Or it can have multiple answers. Firstly if we assume this was actually being taken as literal, without additions, your riddle is impossible. You claimed Dilly was Shorter than Nilly, But that Nilly is actually shorter than you. But Dilly is also somehow taller than you. That makes no sense, because according to your own riddle Dilly is shorter than Nilly, but that cant be if he is taller than you."
He paused.
"Now, if you add these other factors in... it might be possible." He tapped his chin a little more, looking upwards towards the sky. "Firstly we need to factor in are you talking about YOUR height or quite possibly your shadows height? You said 'your' height but your shadow is another indicator of height. Depending on the positions of the sun, and the location of you and your friends, your riddle could indeed be true."
"A second factor, would be if you or your friends anytime recently had someone take an axe or some other cutting device to you. Because then you were once one height and now you are not. So if dilly was once taller than you all, but now isnt, that could be true. If not someone cutting you down then perhaps erosion or natural causes made you tip over."
"Something else to factor in would be you never explained if you were all on a level surface. So it Dilly, for instance, was indeed the shortest from base to tip he could still be taller if he was on a high enough hill."
He probably could continue on, but chose around then to actually stop. He had ranted, and that was not something he really did out loud anymore. While he would think it, he didn't speak it too much.
'Oh and the more obvious problem. Dilly, Milly, and Nilly, are three friends not two. Unless one of the trees actually has two names, or perhaps siamese twins. But the latter even would still mean three names, three minds."
"No, why, I do not think that's the answer at all. You are very wrong."
"...Wha- I did not even answer!" Quinn said, a little exasperated now. He was only working on the logic and the flaws, not the answer.
Still the tree now seemed to be snubbing him, so he sighed and pushed off the tree.

You reach a tree with a lot of signs on it. The signs read "This, Way, To, Nowhere, And, Everywhere." They are in separate signs, and the "And" is a separate sign of its own. This is a very informative tree!
His last tree was no more helpful or informative than any other tree. Had he really expected otherwise? Gravity kicked at it's roots in a show of petty spite. "Screw this! That's five trees "inspected". Let's jet, Gurl."

Li Shou stood and shook his head, discombobulated and dreamy after such a strange journey to... Here.
Where was here?
Why was the sign post speaking to him? Leveling up? Was this a... Game?
The boil's eyes practically sparkled at the strange realization that he had been transported into some sort of ultra-realistic fantasy world. Oh wowie! And his outfit wasn't too shabby either. He dug the duds.
"Of course I want to level up. I'm not stupid."
.. Username chosen. NotStupid appeared over his head.
"No! Wait! Redo!" He started to curse the letters floating above his avatar angrily, as they had put just a bit of a damper on his enjoyment of the game.

"Maybe things here aren't what they seem," he said, cheerful about the future as he bounded up to the second tree. He extended a hand in greeting to the sleepy, tall tree, but when it leaned down and asked if he was putting his hand in its nose he sort of drooped on his own and got very uncomfortable.
Was that how trees were supposed to be greeted? He left his hand out for a while, awkwardly, waiting so that he wouldn't offend the tree by acting repulsed (even though he was, really).
"Well, okay... if that's what you want," he said, shuddering internally. When he came back, though, the tree was nowhere in sight. He felt extremely relieved.

Rhythm watched the floating set of teeth as they spoke. Everyone was lost, and there where plenty of other things to get lost in? Well that seemed true at least, the other people who where around, whom she truthfully hadn't been paying much attention too. Where looking as lost as she was. The second part of the statement seemed to imply there where things beyond the woods, which would make sense. It was just a matter of finding the way out of the woods.

Entering
Shadow opened her eyes. Where was she? one minute she was sleeping and the next she was here, wherever here was. Then the memories slowly started to return to her.
"Shadow, huh. Well I can deal with that." She said before swinging here tail out in front of her. "Hey! Why is my tail blue. My tail is BLACK not blue and black. When I find out who did this they better run. Because nobody messes with me" She muttered to herself as she started walking.
After walking awhile she found a signpost and while trying to read what is say it suddenly starts to speak.
"I am the wayfinder, and it means finding your way and not finding your way. Well, I supposed this is an official welcome to Tulgey Woods, where you'll find everything and of course nothing at all. First things first, I supposed you'd like to level up a bit, and collect these rare sort of fragments. Well, not a problem at all, not a problem. Let's see... hm... yes... I do think some exploration is due. Do be a dear and examine five trees around you. Keep in mind, trees are very shy, yes some are shy indeed, and some are just too noisy those trees, full of surprises. Examine five trees, and come back to me when you're finished!"
"You want me to speak to trees! Fine, if it can help me find the person responsible for this then I'll do it"

This tree definitely wasn't crying, no. But it did seem upset nonetheless. When Teddomination approached, it screeched in anger, warning the little bear to stay back. But... The last one had wanted his help. Did all of these crazy trees have their own personalities? Mulling over that thought, the teddy bear sighed.
Well. He certainly didn't want anymore tree hugs, as far as he was concerned. Who knew what would happen if he approached an upset one? Tipping his hat at the tree, Teddomination turned and left without another word.
He would just... Find more trees to talk with....

hellrisen was humming happily to himself as he walked towards his third tree, having narrowly escaped reaching into a tree's nose. What would be in there, anyway?
Teeth?
He stopped short when he came upon a tree with stripes. It honestly hadn't struck him as particularly out of place, not when so many strange things had happened already, but the tree itself seemed to insist upon how normal it was. He resisted the urge to tell it that acting defensive made it seem more irregular than it had on its own. Still, if it didn't want to be so colourful, he may as well oblige. What was the harm?
After all, it must be difficult having no arms of your own! "If I shake away a lot of colours, can I keep them?" he asked, his tail wagging back and forth, chains rattling as he beamed up. The tree didn't really reply, probably too busy with its colours dilemma, so risen just reached forward and started to shake it very enthusiastically and in tune with something playing in his head.
"This should do!"

8: You reach a tree with stripes. Trees with stripes, how silly!
"I beg your pardon," says the tree with stripes, "but I am not silly at all. In here everything is possible and anything is impossible and therefore a tree with stripes is completely within everything and anything." Its stripes change colours. "Now, give me a good, good shake. I want to get some more colour out. Shake me really well, if you do I'll reward you."
If you shake the tree it laughs happily and then spits out a fragment. It bids you your merry way as you continue walking. +1 fragment.
Standing there in front of the giant yellow ! the ghoul was confused. DarklingFox was how the item had addressed her at least that's what she thought. But shrugging it off she listened to it talk about leveling and finding things around the wood. Okay that couldn't be that hard could it. Oh trees...that was what it wanted. She could do trees. Looking around she wandered up to a tree with stripes
"Stripes? How Silly...trees don't have stripes...do they?"
No sooner had the words left her mouth when she heard the tree talk, it wanted her to shake it? Really what kind of game was this that tree's talked. But feeling sheepish for having made fun of a talking tree she smiled when it asked a small request from her.
"Oh of course I could help shake you!"
Wrapping her hands around the trunk of the tree she shook with all her might. Hopefully it's what the tree wanted. When she stepped back she noticed a small fragment picking it up DarklingFox smiled,
"Thank you! I hope you get lots of colour!"
Deciding this wasn't so bad she wandered to find another tree.

3: You reach a tiny tree and it looks up at you and only has a row of smiling teeth. "Guess what I'm hiding!"
If you cater to it then it tells you "I'm hiding something in my mouth!" It sticks out its mouth and lo and behind it is a fragment! +1 Fragment.
If you don't guess the tree looks disappointed. "Oh, okay..." It does not give you a fragment.
KittyClaws33 went up to the first tree she happened upon and it smiled at her with pointy teeth.
It had asked her to take a guess at what it is hiding in it's mouth and she shouted, "A REWARD!"
But the tree continued one like she didn't hear her and popped out 1 Fragment.
KittyClaws33 was still jumping for joy as she was excited that she guest right. "Whoot!"
She picked up the fragment and it was added to her inventory.
After that, she went on to the next tree.

2: The second tree is a wide tree and doesn't look too happy to see you. It crosses its arms. "I don't think so, the last people who were here were terribly mean about it. Terribly, terribly mean and it just won't do anymore. If you come any closer I will have to resort to violence I mean it! Don't come any closer!"
If you move closer it hits you for -5 damage with its branches.

Well, there was no helping it now.
NotStupid decided it would be best to just hurry up and start the quest so he could forget about his naming tragedy (for the time being).
He approached the first tree that caught his attention. A wide tree. Surely it would yield something special. He was supposed to examine it, right? So that meant he had to... Basically frisk it. Not that it was a big deal... Until the tree moved and talked.
"WAH!" NotStupid screamed and fell back on his a**. Oh jeez. He was being threatened... By a tree.
"I don't care what you say! I'll do what I want. You're just a stupid tree anyways."
So he approached...
And promptly took five damage from contradicting his username.
