So it would seem that Hiccup was trying to deny that there was one other person with them aside from him and Toothless. Apparently he wasn't very good at lying. However, he wasn't familiar with the area like with herself, Mikhail, and Roy. So he and Toothless must be from another world as well. Upon hearing another voice, Rose was ready to draw her blade as she turned to see the person in question coming out from behind a rock. So this was the other companion. "I see no reason to arrest you as I am in unfamiliar lands." She said, moving her hand away from the hilt of her blade. However, she did have her guard up. Why would he think that she would arrest him? From the way it sounded, he must be a native. She then a slight nod in acknowledgement when he introduced himself as Yohan. "I'm Rose. Where exactly are we?" She asked.

Location: Open Field
Currently With: Richard, Lambda, Crow

Even though Hiei had kept silent, it didn't mean he wasn't listening to the conversation between Crow and Richard. Memory data? Was he some sort of robot? That would explain why Crow seemed a bit off as far as spirit energy went. There was then the conversation about Richard's blade. Hiei had at least hoped that Richard had more taste and artistry as a swordsman than Kuwabara. Maybe Richard wouldn't wield his rapier with the grace of a flyswatter. It was then the subject changed when Crow addressed him. Why would he need to speak? Even when he traveled with Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Kurama, he had mostly kept to himself. Kurama had been the one he tolerated enough to talk to. It was unfortunate the fox demon wasn't around to do the talking. "I have no reason to waste my breath in pointless conversations." He said before he smirked slightly from Lambda's comment. "Your sense of mind-reading is amazing." He said with a sarcastic tone in his voice.

The three-eyed demon soon stopped in his tracks before he glanced over his shoulder at the group behind him. The Jagan Eye was glowing behind his headband. "If it makes you feel any better, there's another group heading to the same destination as we are. They're not too far from our location." It didn't really matter to him if they wanted to meet with this other group or not. Either way, it was likely they were going to cross paths regardless. Being a telepath, he could easily just send a telepathic message to someone from the other group. He had often communicated with Botan that way on both occassions where she nearly blurted out to Yukina about him being the ice maiden's older twin brother.

"..." OnO;; Azura felt a chill running down her back when Temmie did that...thing...with its face and spoke with a distorted voice. But while it was up close and personal, her nose twitched. There was something she was noticing about its scent, and she zoned out for a moment as she mentally tried to put her finger on what her brain was getting at.

"Azura, don't just sit there," Kratos firmly remarked, trying to snap her out of her absentmindedness. He had already drawn his sword and was backing up to get a better frame of sight on the creature, analyzing how he was to go about attacking it.

"Ack, sorry!" She sprung back up to her feet and also backed up near where Kratos was, reactivating her Ice Gauntlets. "It's just...its' scent...it doesn't have a singular scent. Pretty sure there's something else on it...with a metallic smell? And I...feel like I've seen that patterning somewhere before. Y'know, on that sash it's wearing?" She cut off her thought there, as this was no time to be mulling further over it.

"...Hm." Kratos raised his brows a bit in surprise, though still had his eyes trained on Temmie. The information Azura was providing was pretty useful, though he still wondered how she was able to pick up scents that keenly. "Are you suggesting that it's possibly possessed?"

"I'm...not quite grasping the correlation between that scent and possession just yet, but that kinda makes sense."

Now, given that this Temmie creature made its legs quite long, Kratos let loose a widely spread Stone Blast at its feet to see if he could trip it up. Azura decided to stand her guard, anticipating its next move.

Byakuya sat at the back table in the library with a stack of books blocking him from view. The captain knew his first priority should be to find a way back to Soul Society, but it was unclear of when or even where another false Senkaimon would open again. And, even if one did appear in front of him, there was no way to determine whether it was one he should use or not. So, while he worked to find a solution to this problem, he saw no harm in learning more about this world. Though it'd have been easier to simply ask questions, Byakuya would rather read; not just because books were less risky, but because he doubted anyone would know what was going on. "Get down here!" Byakuya's eyes closed for a few seconds before he looked up at the partially manifested form of his Zanpakutō. So far, Byakuya discovered only the strange creature they'd encountered outside town could see and hear the spirit when he was partially manifested, so he wasn't too worried of Senbonzakura making a scene. Of course, that didn't mean he'd forgotten about the flower-like monster who was now running on the tops of the bookshelves. "You're going to get hurt, Blossom! Come down here now!"

He named her. Of course he did. It wasn't surprising given his fierce attachment to cherry blossoms and his childish behavior, but it was unwise to name a wild creature such as the Cherrim. They knew nothing about the creature other than it resembled their favorite flower. Senbonzakura gave another futile command and Byakuya sighed. This shouting is troublesome. "Excuse me, sir?" Byakuya looked up at the librarian he'd seen upon entering the building. If it turned out Senbonzakura was fully manifested, he may just kill his own sword. "Yes?" "Could you control your pet, please? I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave if you can't." Byakuya sighed again. That creature was hardly a pet; even if she did seem to have affection for him. But, he had brought her with him, so that made her his responsibility for now. "Of course. I apologize for her behavior." At least it wasn't Senbonzakura. Standing, Byakuya walked over to the shelf Cherrim was now standing on and looked up at her. "If you're going to insist on following me, then I expect you to behave. Get down from there immediately, Cherrim. You're causing a scene." "Cherrim~!"

The noble watched as Cherrim somehow managed to hop down the ladder without falling, jumping onto his head when she was low enough. "I'm surprised she listens so well to you, Master. You don't even like her." "I never said I don't like her. I simply know nothing of her kind. It's called caution, Senbonzakura; you should practice it." The combination of his master's sass and Cherrim's act of sticking her tongue out at him left the spirit speechless for a few seconds before he recovered and followed the samurai. He stood next to Byakuya as he took a seat, Cherrim deciding to sit obediently on his lap as he returned to the book. At least she was somewhat tame and seemed to know how to follow orders. "Have you figured out where we are yet, Master?" "Do learn how to pay attention to your surroundings. If you listened as well as you fought, you'd have heard from the locals we're in a city known as Sybak located on a world called Aselia." Byakuya paid no attention to the researcher that looked over at him as if he was a madman. It didn't bother him at all; he knew he wasn't insane, so there was no reason to be ashamed of his conversation with the spirit.

Crow looked away innocently as Richard took his needle back after explaining what it was. He didn't need to be so upset about it. It wasn't like he was going to steal it. Crow had learned that was not how you made friends; even if it did work for Seto. "Rapier, huh? So, is it a kind of sword?" Crow looked over at Hiei when he finally spoke, but it wasn't the most pleasant of words. "Wow. I bet you're just the life of any party you go to." Hiei suddenly turned towards them and Crow moved to hide behind Richard, expecting to be attacked, but the other just mentioned another group. Was his headband glowing? "There is? Where?" Crow was actually more curious on how he knew that, but decided not to ask. Maybe it had something to do with the glow.






Sesshōmaru glanced at Aeris as she spoke to Emil about potentially feeling terrible if this Sephiroth appeared and started to threaten his world. The demon looked away. "Spend less time worrying and more time forming a strategy. If something from your world does appear, your allies will look to you for knowledge." Emil headed for the door and Rin followed him, eager for something to eat. It was a good thing Emil had absolutely no sense of evil and, for the time being, had Sesshōmaru's trust. When the noble district was mention, the demon frowned. He didn't have much experience with human nobles. Actually, the only human noble he had ever come across was Sara's father; and, that hadn't ended all that well for anyone involved.

Mikhail looked at Yohan as he spoke about some law and the punishment. His eyes widened and his head jerked back a bit. They would really do that!? They had to make sure no soldiers found out then! When Yohan suddenly laughed, Mikhail tilted his head and looked at her a bit. What was so funny? Realizing he'd been tricked, the dragon slumped a bit. "That was really mean. I was actually worried." Well, it wasn't much different than how Zero and them had messed with him. Minus the physical abuse anyway. Listening as Yohan explained where they were and where he and his group had been going at first, Mikhail blinked. Why pass Meltokio if it was closer? "Meltokio and Sybak. Those both sound really fun! Which one are we going to?"






Issun's head perked a bit. Eternal swords and worlds being split apart? Now, that was something he would ask about when there was time to worry about it. For now, he was interested in learning about this small village. It was far smaller than any village he'd been to. Humans tended to converge in cities rather than villages back home because of the demon problem. "A tour sounds fun! This place looks really peaceful." "Yes, so don't cause any trouble for these people." "My brother's a boring person, though, so we should just leave him here. He'll kill the mood." Issun didn't hesitate when he reached out and hit the devil. He held no shame despite the fact it was dangerously close to being considered full-on abuse. Daemorai just laughed, though, brushing it off with no sign of having even felt the attack. "I think a bug just ran into me. Anyway, let's tour!" A bug, huh? Issun clenched his fists, resisting the urge to stab him with his own sword. It wouldn't hurt him, though, and the only thing it would do was blow their cover since it would absorb the devil back into it. Slight discomfort, sure, but no harm would come the the annoying creature.

Blue eyes opened slowly to look hazily at the seemingly endless field of sand. Getting to her knees sluggishly, holding her head as she did so, Nia let out a quiet groan. Moving her hand from her head, Nia looked around as her vision cleared. She was in a desert? How did she end up asleep in the middle of a desert? Actually, she wanted to know where she was before the desert, too. Nia had no idea what was going on; all she could recall was her name. And, that didn't help her figure anything out. Her ears picked up hisses and clicks, and Nia looked up again to see a couple of snakes and a scorpion. They were slowly closing in on her and Nia stood, taking a few steps back. That only made them jump forward a bit. If she couldn't run, how was she supposed to get away from them!? Nia didn't have a weapon to defend herself with.

"Get your head out of the clouds!" Nia shielded her eyes from the sand that was thrown from the ground as someone seemed to glide over to and stand in front of her. She watched as the other girl, who had been holding a pair of swords, suddenly sheathed them across her back and pulled out a pair of guns. "Arc Fire!" Nia peeked out from behind the girl as she used some kind of magic, sending a barrage of water out in front of her to keep the creatures away. Her head perked a bit when she heard something behind them, turning to see someone with a bandanna covering their face. "Um...." The man pulled out a dagger and attempted to cut at her, but Nia managed to clumsily get out of the way. She fell back into the sand, stunning her for a second before she noticed the dagger-wielding assailant running at her. Without thinking, Nia held her hands up in a poor attempt to defend herself. But, instead of hitting her, the man's dagger hit something else and Nia opened an eye to see some kind of shield had formed around her. Too bad it didn't stay up very long. "How did I...?" The immediate threat of the thief completely left her mind as she looked at her hands. How did she do that? And, how could she do it again?

So, it hadn't been a dimensional rift. It was more like a door to whole different world. She knew for a fact there were no deserts like the one she appeared in back home. And, she had never been more thankful for that; she'd die if she had to cross a desert constantly to get places. She could handle the Mon Highlands and even the snowy tundras passed the Xailen Woods, but a desert? Maybe it was because her body wasn't accustomed to the extreme heat, but Elle really couldn't stand it. "At least my clothes aren't making it worse. Shorts are amazing." She had to roll up her sleeves, of course, but she did that a lot anyway. "Mew...." Elle looked down at Pollo and gave a sympathetic smile before picking him up so he could lay on her head. Poor cat was probably dying. "Hang in there, Pollo. I saw a town somewhere up ahead; hopefully they'll have air conditioning."

Of course, nothing ever went according to plan. As she continued towards town, she came across a girl being ambushed by some monsters. She looked completely out of it. Or, at least, unsure of what to do. Was she out traveling without a weapon? Elle drew her swords and rushed forward, Pollo somehow managing to climb into her bag for safety. "That girl's going to get herself killed. Get your head out of the clouds!" Elle used Swift Strike when she was close enough to get in front of the girl as quickly as she could, sheathing her swords once she was. Drawing her pistols, Elle glared at the trio of creatures. "Arc Fire!" They weren't much different than the monsters back home. Though, had she ever gone up against a snake before? Elle couldn't recall. She looked back when the girl went to say something, slumping when she saw the thief. Seriously? Now? What was it with these people? Elle attempted to turn her attention to the man, but the monsters forced her to stay focused on them by attacking her. Crap! She had to finish these things quickly before that girl got hurt. At least they didn't seem all that strong. If anything, they were just bothersome.

With her attention focused on the three monsters, Elle completely missed the girl's defense. All she saw when she had the chance to look back was some kid biting into the shoulder of the thief. What had just happened? Where did he even come from? Elle quickly dodged out of the way when a snake spit acid at her, cringing a bit at the thought of what would have happened had she been hit. Managing to kill one of the snakes with Rapid Burst, Elle let out a relieved sigh. That was one down. They weren't all that difficult at all. She had this in the bag. Switching back to her swords, Elle used Swift Strike to take out the scorpion. That left only the second snake.
