*Shortstraw smiled, "Alright let the fun begin! Asher you are in control of inventory and tools. Veria your on the blueprints and the painting afterwords. And Keria we are going to put the beams up. He placed all the hats on everyone, even on mais head, "And Mai... umm... we will find somthing for you." He chukkled.

Mai just barked happily and followed around wherever Kiera went. When Kiera started to put up the beams, Mai would hand her the appropriate tools and things to hold it all together. Asher was most surprised about how clever Mai actually was. Even if he was a Yokai dog, in that form he still had the characteristics and the mind of a normal dog. So she was just bemused on how clever and loyal that dog was. Especially to Kiera. He seemed to pick up on hers and everyone else's emotions perfectly. Not to mention he could distinguish nuts and bolts from each other. It came in handy, she supposed. How clever she was to get Kiera that dog three years ago. "Pick up the pace Kiera!" Kiera glared over at Asher as she held a beam in place. "That's easy for you to say, lazy a**."

*Shortstraw chukkled, "Be carful Asher, or i'll make you transform and give us a hand or two!" He teased back as he put another beam up where veria pointed, "That hat will really stick to her head when she transforms," she giggled mockingly. Shortstraw laughed, as he hammered the beam into the strut. "Hey keria, can you toss me a nail?" He asked happily as the team worked together to put up all that they could.

Kiera had all her hands full as she held a beam in place and held another part in place with a screw also in her mouth. She looked to Mai pleadingly and he bounded over to Shortstraw with a screw in his mouth, holding it up for him with a wag of his tail. He was happy being the little helper here, it felt good. Asher grumbled again and decided to stay silent as she settled down. Yeah, it was probably safest not talking. Otherwise she'd have to... work.

A few hours later the team was all standing infront of there work, the sun now compleatly dissapearing. Shortstraw chukkled, "we got pretty far for just a few hours." He nodded. All the beams where up, the rooms all ready, and now the roof and walls were ready to be installed, well the outer walls, the inners came later on. Veria walked out from teh middle and smiled, "Weellll the good news is the strucker is aboslutly stable. And with the spechal nails i made to put into the bottom, this thing will never move." She giggled and looked to it, Meanwhile Shortstraw picked up Asher, and placed her on his head, "We should have this up in no time. But for now lets call it a night." He looked to Keria, "Anyone upf for dinner first though?" Veria looked supprized for a moment but then realized she couldn't eat regular food. She shied, "welll... i am hungry..." she giggled, "night night." She then suddenly dissapeared.

Kiera shrugged before looking to Shortstraw with a smile. "Should we have dinner at the castle tonight? It'd be good to see Dante and Hikari, I think. See how Hikari's doing. Plus I just really want some of Hikari's cooking." She admitted as she chuckled. "It must get pretty lonely in the castle for those two." Asher nodded. "It's a good idea. I'm tired." Kiera laughed more. "How are you tired? You didn't even do anything." Mai yapped in agreement as Asher just grinned. "There's more ways to exercise than just physically, Kiera."

*Shortstraw farfully nodded so asher wouldn't fall off and laughed, "alright good food then!" He nodded, "yea i guess i wonder that too... she used to take care of us all, now she only has donte. Maybe... we should have her join us to." He chukkled, "just a thought. I mean i almost think Dontes going to be around alot anyways once it's finished." As they walked he looked up to Asher, "oh yea speaking of that i forgot to open that other door when veria was there." He looked to keria, "turns out the first door that unlocked i couldn't open without all of my soul peice there, being you, veria, and asher. However i did some reserch, the door stands for Unity." He chukkled and looked serious as he looked ahead, "i also spent some time reading that anchaint book. I searched for that spear, i think i'm on to somthing."

Kiera looked to Shortstraw curiously. "What do you have so far?" Asher was equally curious, but Kiera got there first. Pft. She never used to be this interested. Well anyway, whatever thing Kiera was hiding, Veira seemed to have sorted it out now. For that she was grateful. Veira was helping out a lot lately. And Kiera was getting slowly better. Things were all right. She only hoped that fate would leave them all alone for a while. At least let them settle down.

*Shortstraw took a moment, "i'm not sure if it's right or not. But i think Asura is from the anchant times. I think she was one of the organal first seven... but she was a failure... in other words..." he looked to Keria, "I think she was the vary first Demon Hunter to be created and she chose to take the sides of the Demons and thats why she was sealed away into the DD realm with the DD. But i'm unsure if it's correct. That Spear, it was her spechal demon hunter weapon, much like my demon dagger. Thats why she knew exacly where to hit me, when, and where." They stepped up to the door as he smiled and let it go, "but for now lets not worry about it. IT"S EATING TIME!" He laughed.

As they all walked through the door, Kiera noticed at first that it was eerily quiet. But then she remembered that there were only really two people inhabiting the whole place, and so of course it was quiet. There was a crash in the kitchen and upon further inspection Hikari was sat on the floor with a large bowl on her head and a spoon in her hand. She noticed people come in and lifted the bowl with a red face. "Oh... Hey you four. I slipped a little..." Kiera couldn't help but giggle but helped Hikari off the floor. "Are you all right?" Hikari chuckled awkwardly and scratched her head. "Yeah.. Some of the pans are too high for me. So I have to get a chair to be able to reach them. But all the chairs here are so rickety, I fall off them all the time." She looked around herself. "Dante was just here a second ago. Did you see him when you came in?" Kiera shook her head. "No, I didn't. Oh- Do you mind if we join you two for dinner tonight? We were hoping to get some of your cooking.." Hikari smiled to them all and put the bowl on the side. "Of course I don't mind! The more the merrier! And it it a bit quiet around the place sometimes."

*Shortstraw smiled and started picking up some of the things on the floor, "Well i have to admit, your food is still the best, keria gets second." He teased as he laughed and put the dirty pans in the sink, "So where is DOnte then..." Suddenly veria walked into the house and headed up the stairs before she stopped and back tracked, "wait i thought you two were going to... ohhh..." she giggled, "well then i guess this is the best place for people like you all to go." Veria shrugged, "Me on the other hand is always having to have people bagging not to be food." She laughed and headed up to the stairs, "night Aunty, Night donte..." she then went in her room. Shortstraw stomach growled as he mad a face, "nah verias just weird." He chukkled. "I heared that!" her vioce yelled out from her room.

Kiera looked to Hikari expectantly. "So what is for dinner tonight, Hikari?" Hikari grinned as she pointed to the big pot on the stove. "Its just heating up now. Curry." Kiera wanted to explode in a flurry of happiness but contained it. "Yes! Oh your curry is the best." Hikari smiled. "Oh I forgot how much you like spicy food." Kiera nodded and looked to the pot. "Now I'm pretty hungry..." Hikari grinned. "Good! Because both you and Shortstraw are looking skinny. I bet I'd be able to see your ribcage, Kiera Yokai. Have you been looking after yourself?" Kiera rolled her eyes and went to go hide behind Shortstraw. "Don't pick on me. Shortstraw is just as bad." Hikari chuckled. "Yes, but he's not direct family. I have an obligation to pick on you."

*Shortstraw chukkled and mumbled, "maybe i should hold off on the ring then..." he chukkled, "your on your own on this one, she's your aunt." He smerked and crossed his arms, "well we had some things show up... but maybe untill we get our house built we can just eat here for a few days." He nodded, "then you can plump her up all you want." He chukkled, "and i'll still be safe." He looked to keria playfully with a smerk, "and for the record this had nothing to do with our deal." He held a large grin, although he was only playing. He would eat still, he would even protect keria, but honistly he too felt keria needed some food in her.

Kiera sobbed and hid more behind Shortstraw. "I just can't take up so much food at once I'd be vomiting everywhere my diet and stomach has shrunk so much that I wouldn't be used to it. This is anarchy. A plump Kiera is not a happy Kiera." Hikari wagged her finger. "Which is why you need some more food to get you back into the habit! Not that you were ever much of an eater anyway. No wonder you sleep so much." Kiera sobbed again and Hikari smiled to Shortstraw. "Oh how is the house going, by the way? Have you progressed much?" Asher finally spoke with this one. "We got the basic skeleton for the house and now all we need is things like the roof, walls and windows." Hikari nodded and moved over to the big pot. "Sounds like it's coming on well then. I'm glad."

Shortstraw smiled and patted kerias head, "your be fine. Just start slow." He chukkled and nodded to Hikari happliy, "Yep~ I think it will only be a matter of a week or so before the house us bulit, then the moving in part may take another week or so." He chukkled, "Things have really been hard on us all latly, so it's nice to see us acheive somthing we actully plan on doing." He smerked but stayed near keria just in case, he figured he needed to start eating more too... it was killing him off slowly. And at least Hikaris food was really good. He looked to Asher, "Oh crap. I forgot about our two members all day, we sorta just left them there yesterday in the middle of their sarimony..." He sobed, "that dosn't show a vary good leader to more grown up people then we are does it."
