Kiera chuckled, and Mai nuzzled into Veira. He yipped again, and looked up to Veira admiringly. At least she wasn't going to hurt him. None of these people were, he knew it. Especially his cat friend. Dante put his hands on his sides proudly. "I know i am just so amazing." Kiera snickered. "How does your neck support that big head of yours, Dante?" Dante wasn't all too sure what she meant, but knew it was some kind of mocking.

*Shortstraw laughed* "Well now i guess it's time for cake." He smiled hiding away that it was his turn and kinda made it seem like he skipped himself on purpose. He walked over to the cake and smerked, "This is the best part. It's not just a cake..." He lit a match and the cake cought on fire, "it's a spechal fire cake. Lol the cakes perfictly fine however it burns it's a weird resipe me and cyril came up with. Now quick blow it out and make a wish Keria!"

Kiera looked to the cake with an awe. They really did try a lot for her birthday, those two boys. She was almost glad that Cyril came back into her life. Almost, that was. However this was the moment she was dreading. All eyes were to be on her, and she found that kind of experience to be just plain awkward and made her feel vulnerable. She got up anyway, and walked over to the cake. Dante stood next to her and wrapped himself around her arm, she looked to Veira before blowing out the fire on the cake. It was actually easier than she thought it was going to be, considering it was fire. Dante jumped up and down. "You're sixteen now sis!"

*Shortstraw clapped. As Veria gave a nod silently, bein gshe held the puppy. She as petting it still but still scared one of her snake would let loose if she eased even a little bit.
Everything was going well after cake too. Eve showed off for a little while with her gutar, showing Keria a few notes in the process. A few small games, simple however still fun. But soon it was starting to get dark out, the sunset had just started and it was time for eve and donte to get back home. Veria however wanted to stay for a little while... perhaps talk with her sister... diffrently. If not then she would soon head home aswell. She after all semed to make a puppy freind today. ALl in all she enjoyed her first party.*

Dante frowned to Kiera. "I don't wanna go.." Kiera copied Dante's frown perfectly. "If you don't go then mom and dad won't let you come again for being late back home. You do want to come back soon, don't you?" Dante nodded furiously, and Kiera smiled. "Then you have to go." Dante hugged Kiera quickly before making his way over to Eve. "I'll be back soon." Kiera nodded. "You better be." When Kiera was done with all the other goodbyes and Asher and Cyril were packing things away, Kiera walked over to Veira with a smile. "Can I have Mai back now? He may get a little more attached to you than to me." She chuckled. "And are you going now too? Seems everyone is going now." A casual conversation nonetheless.

*Veria carfully handed the puppy back. "Thankyou sister. However i do not have a curfew i don't have to go untill you want me to." She spoke finally easing herself. She smiled as she looked tot he ground, "Thankyou for inviting me to your party. I didn't think anyone would ever invite me. Or hand me a puppy." She blushed. Shortstraw came alittle up and shouted, "Alright we're headed home. See you girls later." He chukkled and winked to asher, "Lets give them alittle time. It might be good for us." And with that asher, shortstraw and cyril left to go home. Leaving Veria and Keria standing there as the sun faded and they had a clear few of the lake. "I hope the dagger helps you sister..." she spoke int he silence.*

Kiera petted Mai and yawned a little. "It will, i know. I've had a bit of a problem with that lately." She scratched the back of her neck. "And stop calling me sister so formally. It sounds kinda weird. Just call me Kiera or sis like everyone else." She smiled. "And it was nice of you to come in the end, i guessed you weren't going to come."

*Veria looked to the lake. "I did becuse i was invited. Sometimes i'm really jelous of you. People look at you and say wow, or she's pretty, a goddess. Then they look at me and run, it's a hidious snake. You can fly, i would give the world to fly. But the best i can do is scraw on my stomach." She looked to the ground, "People try to be around you. But most of the time no one wants me around. And i can't exacly be myself either, which could be good for some but i'm sorta weak. To be the real me it takes days and days of energy out of me for just a hours worth of being myself. You can do whatever you want becuse you arn't a deamon like me. I refuse to eat souls so the energy isn't there for me to be me so i stay in this form and eat orgens in order to survive. And then theres shortstraw. He loves you..." She spoke softly the whole time, softer at the end as she smiled and gave a nod, "so today i came becuse someone wanted me to be there. It's better then bing in my room all the time." She gave ackword giggle and looked away.*

Kiera smiled at her sister pitifully. "Unfortunately when people look at me they only see what the rumours have told then and things that arent me. Nine times out of ten people are disappointed with the end results." She looked down to Mai. "People are stupid. They say that they wont judge a book by its cover and yet that's all they really need. Something to fawn over." She chuckled. "It just seems that I have created a reputation for Myself as being admirable, and you to be feared." She shut her eyes. "And so i am never myself either. The Kiera you're talking to now is but a mere whim i created for people to like. If i was myself right now id be restraining myself to claw your eyes out, and being less bearable." She chuckled again. "Although everyone seems to buy it well enough. Even Shortstraw." She sighed. "We gotta make use with what we got, eh?"

*Veria gave a nod* "Yes i suppose we do." She clancd to keria then did a double take to notice the bandages on her arm. "Sister... that should have healed..." She looked to Keria finally with serousness, "Unless I failed to notice she coud also steal abilitys... if thats the case our enemy may be alive again." She replied.

Kiera nodded, and held her arm protectively. "Yeah, she is. I've felt her presence for a while how. She's watching us I think. Seeing what our life is like. What there is to destroy." She shrugged. "I'll let sleeping dogs lie. When she decides to attack she will. Right now i honestly couldn't care less." She sighed. "She didn't mean to steal my ability. At the time i was still on her side." She grimaced, remembering it all. It was so humiliating. "And what did i just tell you about calling me sister?"

*Veria smerked* "If i was too nice you would walk alover me. Now that you know my weakness." She then nodded, "This enemy really made me do somthing i never wanted to do. I will not alow it to happen again." She looked to keria, "that man will be back. I was a fool for not takeing a sample of his blood. But i was worried aobut getting shorstraw back to you. That girl will do all she can to revive him. So both, of us are now targets. That dagger however will litarly cut her invisable hands clean off meanwhile other daggers couldn't damige them even in the case shortstraw got a hit." Veria also looked away, "Also i notice the other day your sol isn't all there. I didn't mean to see it, i just... well i'm a deamon i can see those things. if i were you i would stop making deals that consume your soul. Becuse it's already crumbling. And shortstraw wouldn't notice, Asher would be alittle slow to due to shortstraw connection with her. Veria looked to Keria. "However i will make a deal with you. If your willing to lisen. And not tell Eve."

Kiera raised her eyebrow at Veira. "A deal with my demon sister, eh?" She pondered over the thought for a while. "I'm listening. But by no means am I admitting to go through with it yet. I barely have a quarter of my soul left as it is." She licked her lips in anticipation, and Mai looked slightly scared of Kiera at the moment. She was going to get herself into trouble. Given the circumstances, Kiera'd already put so much up for grabs.

*Veria nodded as she looked to the water. "She could take you again and so can other enemys. Your body isn't as strong as it used to be and your slowly slipping. I offer the deal in a diffrent way. I don't eat souls remember. I will give you a peice of my own soul if you could at least sometimes alow me to be with shortstraw. I ask simply you share him, and not think of me as the bad guy. A simple thing on my part, but... you need the pieces of my soul more then i do. Problem is then you will have a part of deamon inside you." She explained. It was odd never in history did a demon put there soul out for somthing. Veria was the first.

Kiera sighed. "I wonder how greatly you must feel for him, to offer some of your soul to the very person you're up against just to be with him." She shook her head and looked away. "My power may be diminishing but i don't wish for Shortstraw to be with anyone else. For that, i can live with the Pitiful soul i have left." She laughed. "And i don't wish to be related to demons, either. Let alone have a piece inside of me." Her eyes shimmered a little. "Its amazing what people will do for love, isn't it? I never understood it myself. I have plans in which i'm going to go through with. However this isn't going to be part of it. I'm sorry, Veira." She started to walk away, putting Mai on her head and her hands in her pockets. "Maybe one day you'll do something not for Shortstraw but actually for me."
