"We don't know that she's not," Jasmine says.
Emmy:
"Bookstore downtown?" Jasmine offers. "Four floors, with a cafe on the fourth!"
Nekora:
Jasmine just smiles. There are no bodies of water nearby. There is lots of cover, though.
Ayumu:
Jasmine laughs.
Everyone:
"Okay, enough," Jasmine says. "I want Misaki as a fighter. Ayumu, you're the bait. Chi, I know you wanted to be bait, but I think you would work better as a fighter, as you know the human anatomy far better than most of us, and therefore know where to strike to take her down quickly. Our objective is not to incapacitate; it's to kill. Your Soul Gems will not be tainted by killing her, because she is corrupted and therefore her death is of benefit to the world. Any questions?"

"Well... are we moving out furrom here, or are we sauntering off somewhere else before Operation, Starto?" I ask. I think over my approach, and decide trying to snag her soul gem might be the best plan to take her down... which is good for me, because subtrefuge is my specialty!

"Are we going to be splitting into groups to go looking for her? Also, can someone help me around this place, I don't like being near this meany people... I don't even know how to act around them." I say nervously, and look around. So many people, and such a big place, how does anyone find anything?

"I need you to keep us in contact," Jasmine says. "I checked out your Soul Gem last night: you have wind powers. I need you to use those wind powers to try carrying messages along the breeze. If they get intercepted, that could be good or bad. It'll certainly bring her to us. But otherwise, I want you to be ready to use your Soul Gem bo staff to fight. Can you do that for me?"
Misaki:
"We are splitting up, and you'll be with me," Jasmine says.
Everyone:
"Misaki's with me," Jasmine explains. "Nekora, you stay close to Ayumu while she hovers over the center of the city, to lure out the enemy. Chi, Emmy, and Jade are to all set up positions around Nekora and Ayumu's locations, to set up an all-directions ambush. Misaki and I will focus on a forward assault, while you three take her from the sides and behind."

So I'm a scout then? I say, ducking into a hiding place to start the tailing of Ayumu. I perk up my ears to try and catch as much as I can for sound. I hold my speargun at the ready.

((Out of character: From here on, I'm going to signify that she's speaking/thinking in Japanese by underlining what she says/thinks. The only exception is song lyrics and short phrases that are easy enough to memorize.))
I nod. "I'll set up behind her. We could have done the planning before coming here though... Would have been wiser." With that, look for areas that are shadowed enough not to give away the glint of metal too soon. As I look around, I begin reciting some of the weakest points of the human body to myself in Japanese. Armpit, pit of the elbow, pit of the knee, achilles tendon, juglar, spine, groin, stomach...

"Everyone should be in magical girl form at all times when outside of the Mansion, unless given a free day," Jasmine says.
Chi:
"Probably," Jasmine replies. "But we'll make do for now."
The best place you can find is Rose Tower, the largest building in Portland. Since you'll be invisible to mortals, you won't have to worry about people wondering how you got on top of it.

I give one last nod to Jasmine and a warrior like salute by putting my right fist over my heart and bowing my head before I go into some cover. In preparation of a mental attack, I start thinking about ironic shipping fiction about Chi and Jasmine. I'm saving the worst punishment; reciting ALL of the worst Homestuck fanfiction I've ever read in terrible mockery of a sultry French accent, sparing no terrible, aweful detail; for a much more dire time.

I take off for the tower, still reciting the weakest parts of the body. When I get there, I camp out where I won't be easily seen by the target and I keep my eyes glued to area I came from. Can I conjure up binoculars? I attempt to do so.

You are unable to conjure any, but your Soul Gem's holder transforms from the miniature medical table to a pair of binoculars, with your Soul Gem sitting between the two halves.

I sit there in an awkward confused silence for a moment before remembering Jasmine saying that your soul gem can turn into objects that you desire. I adjust the binoculars so I can see clearly and keep an eye on what's going on since I'm so high up.
