Ylva could only roll her eyes as she watched Arel's plop back into unconsciousness, courtesy of his friend. "You should flip him over." She told Cricket, her nose wrinkled slightly. It wasn't exactly perfectly logical to assume that an Ice Demon could breathe underwater. Did they actually even swim? Ylva wasn't sure, but they should be safe. Just in case.
She watched Rilect submerge himself underwater, and did the same. One, in case he got too preoccupied and she had to yank him up for air, and two, if there was something intriguing in the water, she wanted to know.
There was a strange melody humming, and she wondered if she could make out the words. There was nothing in the water, or else she might have suspected that it came from a siren.

Moving away from the wall Quin headed back toward the pool only to find Malcolm trying to either bath or drown himself. Considering how long he was keeping his head under water she was starting to think it was the later. Coming up behind the reaper Quin kicked off her boots before she stepped into the water's edge. It was nice and warm, rather soothing to the skin. Smiling she took a seat on the ledge with her feet in the water and tapped Malcolm on the shoulder. " Ya tryin' ta drown yerself?"

"I hope so," Vanth sighed. With a small sniff she turned away from the water again and back to her companion, clutching the box tightly. Argyle always knew just what to say. They walked right past the half-submerged Malcolm. She did a double-take and stopped in her tracks. Had he come up for breath yet? Bending down carefully, the grim reaper gave his shoulder a shake. "Malcolm, are you okay!? Did you fall?" Hm. Well. He hadn't dissipated... A single bind-aid wriggled free of the box and inched its way to freedom and/or Malcolm. "Coming!" Vanth gave the reaper another uncertain glance and took a few more steps over to the far wall Argyle was waiting at. On her tiptoes she tried to examine the etchings Argyle was illuminating.

Malcolm removed his head from the water at the poke and the shake, inhaling as he pushed his bangs back, water dripping everywhere. Despite that, there was hardly a shift in his expression; really, did he appear to his classmates as the suicidal type? With a light frown, he shook his head at Quin, wringing the water from his head, "No. I thought I heard something in the water, that's all."
He was unaware of the bandaid currently on the top of his head.

" Hearin' things?" Quin looked at him almost skeptically. " What sorts of things?" She let her hands come to rest in the water to splash around a bit. The water did feel nice. Maybe she should swim about a bit. It seemed some of the other students had the same idea. Not to mention it looked like there was an abundance of glittery things under the water's surface. " Where do ya expect all dis came from?"

"I can't make out what the words are," He looked down at the water, lightly kicking one of the golden cups along the bottom, "I do not know. Perhaps a dragon decided this would be a good place to store treasure... Nobody expects a cave such as this one to be under a school, after all."

" Aye, dat could be true." They did have a couple of dragons among them though Quin was fairly certain if they kept treasure it would be in their room and not down here. " Do ya think any of da teachers know about it?" She watched the cup Malcolm kicked away move along the bottom before it came to a stop. Leaning forward she reached into the water and lifted a sword to have a look at it.

"I wonder about that," He frowned, sitting down beside Quin, still dripping wet, not that he seemed to mind it. He eyed the sword that she had picked up, "It is just obvious that we are not supposed to be here." That's why he's here. It was probably his last chance to get into trouble before graduation.

Nodding as she asked about adventure, "I'm not really the adventuring type...I'd rather hole up with a book or two and Kitsu my familiar."He looked around for a moment, odd the little fox had never reappeared after he started to make his decent in to under ground caves. As she watched the cave open up he was instantly take back by how it seemed so impossible to be sitting under the school like that. He turned to see Melusine jumping in to the flowers. Chuckling to himself contemplating joining her before a flash of gold caught his eye. "Hey Melusine I'll be right over there..."He called over his should as if he was suddenly drawn to this body of water, as he grew closer he could see treasure littering the area. Seeing a few very nice items he looked around, no one would miss a few small things would they? Reaching down he picked up a beautifully crafted gold vase, thinking about Melusine he also opted for a delicate gold earring set and a hand full of gold coins.

At the mention of a swimming pool, Kani turned to see. "Hot Jack! Why is there a lake in this building?" Leave it to the school to be unconventional and sneaky. Most of all, why was it a cave?! Didn't this start from a hallway? Were they underground now? "If they have a tentacle beast guarding it, then that must mean it's valuable." As a creature raised to guard, she knew that you didn't station a protector without wanting others out and keeping something safe.
The answer was made clear when they neared the lake and were shown a mountain of treasure. "Well, I guess we know where all the money for the school goes. No wonder my textbook is ancient." She tip-toed by the shore with her heels, testing a toe. It was warm, but she wasn't all for testing it. She wasn't the best swimmer after all.
Luckily, no one dared toss her in, which couldn't be said as a few students were thrown in. Plenty of other students dived right in. Compared to the monster dorm swamp, it was a lot warmer and shinier - be it both clean and full of loot.
Not all for stealing, though there were a few bangles she had her eye on, she was more wary of who might come to see her have their loot or that they were in a reserved, no-touchy place.
Instead, she moved around the cave and to inspect the walls where many etchings were with interest. They were nothing close to hieroglyphics and completely foreign to her. It was also hard to make out. "Anyone got a flame or light?!!Any Student With Light/Fire

There was a moment when the Reaper was about to jokingly try to sock Radoch in the arm for the name dropping thing, but he decided against it because it would only encourage his friend. "Hey I had to go look for some advice first! She said she was looking to apprentice under some talented FEAR Healers. And pare, kumare you both know my family has a medical practice back home!" He grinned. And when it dawned on him what he should have done when the opportunity had presented itself, the grin turned into a grimace.
"I blew it, didn't I?" He looked up pitifully at Radoch and Tesar, flip-flops scuffing the dimly lit ground. Then a noise drew his attention and gray eyes grew saucer wide. "Oh pusit," he squeaked, immediately pulling himself behind the large monster boil while pulling the nixie ghoul with other. "Maybe it can't see very well?" he cringed, more than happy to let everyone else have a go at the thing blocking the way. When it left, he gave a sigh of relief.
"We still good for exploring?" he asked the pair while giving them the thumbs up. He didn't want to go near the water, despite the treasure that littered but they knew he'd grudgingly go along with whatever his friends decided. He scooted over to make room, his movement causing his feet to brush against something with a metallic thunk. Manny canted his head and bent down to pick up a coin lying on the ground of the Cave's surroundings.

Melther had arrived quiet late, he wasn't in the cave when things started. He missed the tentacles he missed the fighting, and he was indeed frowning when he arrived seeing students lumped and bruised exploring the cave.
"Aw don't tell me I missed all the good fun!" He started marching into the cave arms crossed with a heavy frown crossing his more human face his bare clawed feet sinking into the water and the riches bubbling below the surface. Pausing for a moment he leaned over sticking his head under the water curiously

Bella was right about the fact that penguins liked cold water. The temptation had Rowly loosen his tie to throw off to the shore. Slowly his black vest was removed along with his long sleeved button up. It was as if he was in an advertisement and any second they were going to product place loreal. Because he was worth it. Next the shoes came off - or rather kicked off - in the direction of Norvie. Whether it hit the rat student or missed, Rowly didn't pay attention. Norvie should have known better then to have messed with Bella. He was lucky she only laid on top of him and only nearly drowned him. The were penguin flung him self in to the water and started to swim with unnatural grace. He was not in his full on were form but he still swam almost as if he WAS. When he resurfaced from his swim he was holding a necklace he found. Secretly he pocketed it for later. Rowly was sure that Bella would like it. ((headed to school now <3 be back later))

Maggi wasn't much of a fighter, so when she had managed to find a way through the maze and saw the tentacle squid, she had stayed back out of harms way. But once the squid was defeated, she was free to roam around the cave at will.
She couldn't help but stare at the glittering treasure at the bottom of the lake, but she did not touch it. Instead, she Picked up a stray gold coin

Arcana breathed in as he felt the voices still singing in his head, that same soft lullaby that led him here like a sheep to its flock. He felt....protected, at home. Strong.
Those same voices gave him the will to do something he had been holding on doing for the past THREE YEARS.
"Oh...OH." He pulled her back and nodded. "I'm so sorry! Sorry!" He didn't let her go though. He had made that mistake MANY times before and now, sitting in the cavern with soft voices in his head PROTECTING him, he flushed and ducked his head, meeting her eyes.
"Selene....Um...I..." He started again, his face getting redder. "Selene..I...I..."
"I like....you...A lot Selene...." He flushed and then started rambling cause he was so jacking nervous. "I mean...I mean um....Your very beautiful....and you really smart and your always so kind and I just....I liked you for a really long time." He flushed and while still holding her, ran a hand through his hair nervously. "I don't know what.....to do."
