Hearing a splash in the water and then someone yelling caught Meredith's attention. He looked up from his sleeping spot in the cattails and saw a human in the water. Quickly slipping into the water he swam over to the man. Popping up just in front of Heal, Meredith splash a tiny bit of water at him. "Buuuuuuiiii?" He chattered before swimming around the man. He then spotted the fishing pole which captured his attention. "Zzzzzeeeeeellll!"

((Also feel free to mistake Meredith as a female Buizel. He often acts like one and sounds girlie.))

"Ve-e-e-e-e!" A light voice giggled from a particularly thick patch of grass near the water. Two bright eyes peeked out at the chaos.

Heal let out a groan as he was splashed once again and his fishin rod stolen. "........" He turned towards that Aerodactyl. "I blame you for all of this, I hope you know that...."

He turned his eyes towards shore, watching Buizel for a moment, and wondering why no trainer or pokemon had come to his aid.........He sighed and started swimming, but found himself slowing down as he watched the water pokemon coming towards him once again. "Oh Arceus, what now..."

Eevee's eyes locked on to the tip of the fishing rod. Twitch. Twitch. Twitch twitch. Every time the Buizel poked it, the rod twitched. Eevee crouched and waited. Twitch-pounce! Eevee exploded out of the grass to pounce on the twitching fishing rod.

Meredith turned big eyes to Heal and tilted his head. "Bui?" Suddenly the rod jerked violently as it was pounced by another. "Zel!" He yelped jumping up into the air. He then rushed towards Heal and climbed over him to hide on his other side. Peeking above Heal's prone figure, he looked at the Eevee that had popped out to get the rod. Figuring the Eevee was harmless he began scolding her. "Bui bui bu bu izel zel buizel!"

"....yup, I become my more nightmareish thought...my father.." He muttered under his breath as he watched the two wild pokemon playing around him. "...Eh, could be worse.." He sat up slowly as to not startled either one. "You could be the idiot who stole my fish..."

He lightly patted the buizel's head gently. "You two better be careful, This place is full of trainers that would not mind getting at you."

Eevee wasn't sure what the Buizel had noticed, but she wanted in on it! She quickly followed the water weasel, keeping low to the ground herself.

Over by the campfire, Shina checked the meal. The cheesy cattail and greens casserole was smelling delicious, and the pot of berries that had been starting to go a little mushy was bubbling away. With all the berry bushes that they had passed as they traveled the plains, they now had an excess of berries that wouldn't stay good forever. Shina had added sugar and a little water and let the berries cook down, and it was looking like a delicious dessert.

Meredith looked back to see the Eevee following him. He paused slightly wondering if she wanted to get some food too. Would she try to steal it all? Would she share? His eyes narrowed once more. He'd have to watch her otherwise he might not get any food at all!

Quickly popping his head out of the grass, he saw Heal had move to the fire and where the smell of the food was coming from. Surely that meant it was okay to go over there. He popped down and began to move again.

However he didn't get too far as the tall grass ended abruptly. All that was left was to cross the very short grass area and get to the fire and food. Hunkering down he eyed the distance and then looked back at the Eevee. "Bui. Zel zel buizel." He chattered softly.

Again eying the distance gathered himself and prepared to spring. Suddenly he erupted from the grass, running right towards Shina and Heal and more importantly the food. "ZEL!"
