_______________Peyton Wolf
.: Spira | Omega | Super Breath | Back of the Mansion :.
______________________________'Huffing and puffing.'
Though the majority of her attention remain on the big robots, the comment their team leader had made upon their arrival had still managed to reach her. A subtle grin tugged at her lips for a moment. She had to assume the other blonde was just teasing, the X-Men didn't seem the type of group to be so careless with their members. In fact, she specifically remembered being told to stand down, for their own safety she was sure. Either way though, the statement would have elicited the same expression. Beating the odds, proving herself, challenges and the like were all very strong motivators for her. The prospect of it was the slightest bit exciting. The first time she actually took a moment to look directly at the Omega leader was when her and Anthony were informed of 'rule number one.' It may have been a more puzzling statement had she not already witnessed her power, blasting one of the robots just after her and Anthony had arrived. Well, she didn't particularly want to be hit by friendly fire, especially friendly fire that could take down one of these big robots. Needless to say, she would try to obey this particular rule.
As she tried to focus the force of a hurricane to knock one or both of the sentinels in front of her over, it seemed Peyton just didn't quite have the juice to do it. At the very least, she had been able to knock them off balance. One was quickly taken down with the help of Scott and Narcissa. Peyton was about to refill her lung and try to put a little more power behind her attack to tip the other guy over when she saw someone (Jacen) jump into her wind stream. It nearly knocked her backwards, forcing her back a step or two, but she managed to remain on her feet and held out a little longer. Just long enough for him to get his attack and knock the robot over.
People were running this way and that, all over the place. Despite that, and the sudden invasion, everyone seemed to be pretty good at teaming up and getting things done. It was somewhat chaotic, but not nearly as bad as it could be. Her and Anthony were told, along with a third, to keep pushing the sentinels back, which had been her plan anyway. Since unlike some of the others, that was about all she could do. She had to use some deductive reasoning (and common sense) to figure out who Rave was, the third that had been addressed with her. His eyes were rather notable. They were purple in color and Peyton found her eyes were glued to them as he spoke.
"Sounds good to me." She replied to his plan, cracking a smile a Anthony's joke. She watched for a minute as Rave drew fire and Anthony attempted an attack on the repairing robot, waiting until she felt the time was right to make her move. With her on the sidelines for the moment, the robots were targeting the others, but her feet were already beginning to move. But before she had herself positioned just right, Anthony called out to her.
Attack the robot that was guarding their desired target. It was convincing enough for her, and before she had even really thought about how best to attack the thing, her feet carrying her straight towards it. As her lungs reached capacity again, she broke into a sprint, holding her breath until she got a little closer. She didn't have a totally clear plan in her mind, just a feeling that told her to get as close as she could in order to hit it as hard as she could. Just like the guy who had used her breath to cannonball himself at one of them, it was clear enough the proximity was a big factor here.
This sprint came so naturally, she had trained for it. The difference now was that she had to focus on a giant robot. As she unleashed another gale-force wind at the enemy it slowed her considerably, but she gave it everything she had. Moving around instead of anchoring herself to one spot made her feel a little less like a sitting duck, even if she was moving straight for the robot. Maybe a little less effective when it came to focusing her power, but she was sure the proximity more than made up for it.
The others had drawn its attention before, but her attack seemed to put her back on the radar. It started to make a move toward her but, just as before, she knocked it off balance. Still, with how close she had gotten, her instincts kicked in to get her away from it. Her target suddenly shifted from the robot to the ground right in front of her. Another not-plan-but-a-feeling. And it worked almost exactly as she had hoped, launching her backwards. She used the momentum to flip her body around, her muscle memory easily positioning her to land on her feet. This wasn't the gym though, and her landing was sloppy enough that she had to stabilize herself with her hands.
Looking up, she was still in rage to hit him again as he stumbled, and drew a quick breath to try and finish the job. Lacking in air supply, this attack was much shorter than the last but she tried to create a strong enough gust to knock the robot over. Afterwards she leaned on her knees to catch her breath, a touch of lightheadedness announcing its presence. Her earthy gaze remained on the robots though. A little head tingling was nothing compared to what they could do to her. Rock you like a Hurricane.

¨°o.O O.o°¨ Аʀcυs ζσҀąȶɨσɳ: Hallway ȶȩąɱ: Alpha *Sigh* I really liked that shirt too, the shorts as well... ¨°o.O O.o°¨
Cam had ignored Aren’s remark about showing skin. Mostly because when his hangover was done and other with, she would be more than willing to show him all the skin he wanted; in a nice comfy bed with satin sheets.
While she tried to turn her Batman shirt right side out Cam heard Aren digging in her night stand. He was looking for the pain relievers. By the sound of a pill bottle rustling Cammi figured he found it. Too bad they weren’t going to be much help because the sirens began going off, and the blonde rushed into the hall, curiosity and a fear getting the better of her.
And the sound of two bodies colliding was not as bad as it felt. While sitting on the floor, completely and utterly embarrassed that she had ran into someone while half naked, Cammi asked if the other person was alright. She was, thank goodness, but she asked in return if Cammi was. “Peachy…” she replied as Aren stepped into the hall. The native remarked that Kerrigan wasn’t a train, and while Kerrigan had felt like a train rolling in at full speed, Cammi couldn’t argue, only mumble under her breath. “Neither is alcohol”.
Still on the floor and still looking like a pair of pink booty shorts, Cammi watched as someone new popped in, a mutant by the name of Tsunami. Kerri filled in her code name as she handed Cam her shirt, which Aren had failed to fetch. Either the hangover was really getting to his reflexes or he was gonna see Cammi’s skin come hell or high water.
“Arcus. On the field you can call me Arcus. And thanks Knoxx.” Cammi took her shirt, the fabric appearing to float in mid air. She stood, fumbling with the material as the group talked, Kerrigan making a good point; Cam was useless on the field without her suit. She could not blend in properly with out it since she couldn’t change fabric colors, and right now, the robots were sure to notice a pair of pink shorts floating around on the grass. Though from the sounds of it they were going to notice her anyway with their sensors.
Cammi was about to put the shirt on when another crash came through the building, rocking the walls and rattling the floor. Wobbling on her feet, Arcus peered through the smoke and ruble to see another robot, its sensors scanning the area for mutants.
“Mutants detected. Surrender. Resistance is futile.”
Blinking as the red scanner made an outline of her body, showing nothing but her silhouette and notifying everyone around her where she was, the blonde looked at her friends, hands dropping the shirt and working furiously on the booty shorts. “I don’t think I have ten seconds to find pants. Lets move!” she stated while sprinting down the hall toward the exit, pink shorts now lying in the middle of the floor in a crumpled pile with the Batman t-shirt.
Out Of Character: Sorry for the wait guys. Real life is so much more hectic than robots trying to obliterate us all. Anywho, I didn’t know if I could auto anyone running down the hall so I just had Cammi doing it. I give permission to the next one in line to auto Cam wherever the group goes. ^_^

╔═════════════════════════════╗ Alpha: Courtyard |720| Thomas "Transmigration" Morgan ╚═════════════════════════════╝ Thomas smiled as Blake mention the breakfast of champions. "And here I thought that was beer and cheerios. Silly me." Not that Thomas had ever had beer and cheerios. Inevitably he had sampled a small amount of alcohol back in his teenage days. Likely thanks to urging from friends, but that taste had never took and he never wanted to continue to indulge. Blake was quick to say that he doubted that he had beat all of the healer's stories with that one considering the academy history. "Perhaps, then again who is to say that the institute hasn't calmed in your absence?" It hadn't, but it was an interesting thought. "Fine I concede that I might still have one or two good stories up my sleeve. Maybe at least. We shall have to see." The smile that followed said that he likely had more than just one or two, but modesty had always been a virtue Thomas possessed.
The sentinels coming had been a dark shadow on the whole morning that would continue to hang over them for some time. Thomas just hoped they could go without a single casualty or missing person, but so many x-men were gone and so many of the students were either inexperienced or had mutations not suited for this type of battle. As he mentioned acting as a human shield the idea apparently did not go over well. While Thomas could definitely understand where everyone else was coming from, he just wanted everyone to be safe even at the cost of his own health. Emy mentioned not wanting to change his diapers and mentioned him staying out of harms way. "You know I can't do that. I won't play the martyr, but watching everyone else put themselves in danger while I remain safe is not something I can do."
Letting the probability manipulator finish he adopted a grim look. "And here I thought babies were adorable." Speaking dryly he gave her one last glance before Blake said something and she went off to fulfill her duty. "Old man? Wow way to kick a guy when he's down. And I know it's just... I am useless against sentinels. Make sure to bring one down for me okay? Preferably rather hard." Being outside reminded Thomas of a war zone and a feeling of dread filled him. How could they possibly continue fighting them all off without losing somebody? Continuing to observe Thomas heard Playboy's thanks and nodded in his direction. Then hearing the magma mutant speaking about them only sending six Thomas sighed. "Let's not get overconfident Playboy." Watching him down the sentinel though was nice. "Good job though Playboy. Keep up the good work and try to stay to the outskirts of the battle if you can to keep from hitting anyone. If not just keep your shots in check."
Eyes found Siren and despite the falling sentinel he wasn't worried about her at first. Thomas had seen the sound manipulator move with such speed and grace before that dodging a falling sentinel was practically child's play. She could have easily dodged. Not saying anything he waited for her to dodge out of the way. Wait why wasn't she moving yet? Concern lacing his features Thomas took a step towards her. She still wasn't moving. "Siren get out of the way!" Then thankfully the metal manipulator stepped in and knocked the sentinel off path. A wave of relief washed over him as he rushed to Bella's side. "Good job Railgun."
Turning to Siren the worry was clear in his expression. "Siren..." Trying to find the words he decided to barely whisper them so only Bella would hear him and not anyone else. "You sure you're okay? Perhaps and I know you aren't going to like this, but perhaps you should head back inside and help protect the children? Amarillo and I can make sure to act as stand in leaders if need be to direct everyone. Perhaps this was too much too soon...?" Trailing off he fell silent look of worry still on his face as he took a quick survey of their surroundings. While he doubted Bella would retreat he really wished she would. "Do you need any healing?" Speaking back up in his normal tone he left the conversation for Bella's ears alone.
(OOC: If anything was missed let me know and I can edit as needed.)
╔═════════════════════════════╗ I will now rise from the ashes. Don't call me pretentious. I'm sitting here making my own rules. And if I fall from the ceiling. You'll be down there waiting. And my only hope. Is falling down. ╚═════════════════════════════╝

Aʆєxaηdra Ӎaʀiʆèηє AgηèȿCodename:Flairer My hearts longs for the ability to help! ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ She felt a sigh of relief at a response. She hadn’t really had a preference in mind when she made what she thought was a team wide request. But, Alex did find herself smiling a little that it would be someone she somewhat knew. Instead of a new person on the team she hadn’t met, or just a teammate she didn’t know beyond a simple ‘hello’. “Alright. I will stay put as long as I am able.” For Alex had no idea if there would be anymore Sententials trying to break through the walls of the school. Her gut feeling said yes, but she honestly hoped she was wrong. But if she was right, Alex just hoped that the music room would not be their prime target anytime soon. Due to its location within the school. For now though, all Alex could do was play the waiting game.
Unfortunately, that waiting game involved her having to deal with a sneeze fit. Luckily, something was looking out for her. Since Alex was able to get a hold of a box of tissues in the room. Her nose gained a hint of red by the time it was over. A bit of sniffling and a bit of a displeased sound left her throat soon after. “I feel like this is somehow that ‘Karma’ I have been told about getting on me. For what though, I wish I knew.” By the time she threw away the tissues and stood back near the grand piano, Alex noticed the door opening. Her body tensed a bit while her arms reflexively went to cover her face and chest. However, upon seeing who it was, her arms relaxed at her side. Unable to keep herself from giggling a little at his statement.
“Raph’s taxi service huh? I did not realize you had become a taxi.” Her tone filled with teasing undertones as she got on his back. A part of her quite embarrassed at the notion of being on someone’s back. Yet, due to her exhausted state, Alex knew she needed to conserve what she had. Though, Alex just wished her cheeks weren’t heating up at the moment. Causing her to place her face against his shoulder to try and hide the unnecessary reaction. Her eyes focused on him as he spoke once more. His words made it easier for her body to relax. Though, she knew her body would still be a bit tense until this was all over. A preparation for the flight or fight response that would surely come soon enough. “I trust you.”
She did not know what else to say. Unsure if that was the right response. But, there was no time for debating. Her eyes closed tightly as they moved forward. The sensory adaptor enhanced her hearing as they moved through the school. Her body cringing just slightly at all the loudness. However, at least maybe she could forewarn Raph of any possible dangers ahead. If only there wasn’t so much noise! Alex made sure to lessen the hearing enhancement once they got outside though. For she would only burst her eardrums if she kept it on in the midst of all this fighting. Her gaze moving around as Raph spoke into his comm. When he stopped mid-transmission though, Alex found herself looking at the side of his head. Her lips pressed together slightly as her eyebrows furrowed faintly. “Something the matter?”
Oh why did she have to phrase it like that? Of course there was something the matter! They were being attacked by giant robots! Something she still never thought would happen outside of a science fiction movie. However, Alex forced back an apology for her idiocy. After all, she had a strong feeling no one, including Raph, wanted to deal with an insanely apologetic person at the moment. Even if holding back the words was easier said than done. But, at least all the fighting around them was a distraction. Though, one she never hoped to see again. The sensory adaptor noticed Raph stop then, which caused her to look around. Noticing now four people fighting nearby. Three she recognized from the mall(Gideon, Raine, and Leonardo), but the fourth(Roland) she could not remember if he was there or not. But, Alex was sure they were glad for the help.
Her blue-green hues looked towards Raph now. His whispered words caused her hands to tremble slightly and her heart to pound a bit faster. She knew coming out here would put her in the line of danger. But, was it really that dangerous? She swallowed a little as she looked towards one of the Sentinels. They were taller than anything she had ever seen. That only made the sight of them more unnerving as she instinctually clung onto to Raph more. Though, at the sight of Gideon and Leonardo ripping one apart, Alex felt a sense of hope run through her system. While her abilities weren’t offensive in nature, maybe her abilities could somehow make the people with offensive powers have an easier time? The thought of such was what allowed her to slowly release her grip on Raph.
“To be honest…I am scared out of wits, and wish to run for the hills as they say.” She waited until Raph let go of her legs before getting off his back. The sensory adaptor moving herself to where she was at his side. But, still a bit behind him. “But…I am a part of a team now. Whether I like it or not, I cannot just run away without at least trying.” Her words remained a whisper. Though, at times, her voice increased in volume. If only to make sure Raph could hear her over the sounds of fighting all around them. “So…even if the idea of ending up in a body bag is not what I had planned when I came here…At least I…” Her hands interlaced with each other. Both hands gripping the other tightly as her lips formed into a frown.
The idea of dying and leaving her mother behind caused her eyes to water a little. However, Alex blinked back the water as soon as it came. Knowing now was not the time to breakdown and cry. Now was the time to be strong. If only that strength was easier to hold onto. “Know I would not die a coward…and that is the way….most people prefer to die in a fight…right?” A faint tremble entered her voice towards the end of her answer. For just the idea of dying was scary in of itself. But so were a lot of other things in life. She just hoped today would not end up being a realization of her fear. “Though…if it is not too much to ask, would you be willing to stick close? Having a friendly presence will make me feel much better. But, I understand if you are needed elsewhere.”
While she didn’t know all the uses of his abilities, Alex knew his would likely be more helpful offensively than her own. They just had to figure out how. Her mind remembered how Leonardo seemed good at figuring out uses for people back at the mall. Maybe he could do the same here? A bit of a shaky smile formed on her face. Her awful attempt to ease Raph’s nerves as she waited until the right moment before pressing her finger to her comm. A transmission to Leonardo directly. “This is Flairer. Me and Technomancer are in the front and nearby your group. Do you have any need for our assistance?” Alex felt a bit proud that she was able to sound so calm about the suggestion. Though, she knew she would have faltered if it was any longer than that.
Her finger moved away from the comm before looking back at Raph. “You have any ideas how we can help?” She needed to try and keep her mind focused. Otherwise, Alex knew fear would override her logic and she would run away in an instant. It did not help that she was low in energy either. Both from not having eaten, and the cold she seemed to have developed. A bit glad that she hadn’t sneezed since the sneezing fit. Though, she spoke too soon as one left her system. Extremely grateful it was not a really nasty one. That would have been way too embarrassing. “God bless me.” A part of her thinking that blessing should go to everyone, because they surely needed it. ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ "We will drink our fill of Alpha Then, of golden sunshine that spills into Music Room, then Outside the Academy: Front Yard Till our brains intertwine with Raph with Raine, Leonardo, Gideon, and one other person(Roland) nearby"

Chameleon
Daylia Astralloxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Team Omegaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location: Outside )( Cissa's group)( xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Daylia had arrived outside to pure chaos. It hadn’t taken Narcissa long to dish out orders, and the Chameleon was to distract, but only if it was needed. Instantly she felt guilty because of her uselessness in this fight. She had nothing on her to fight with, not that she was used to or trained to use more than her baton. "Gotcha." She called back to the boss.
Daylia’s grey orbs swept the area again, watching those who had useful powers attempt to take down the hulking machines. Psyche was hacking away at them, Cissa was blasting them, and the girl she had met at prom was blowing them off balance. None of it seemed to be having that super of an effect. How the hell was Daylia supposed to get any of the attention on herself to even distract the things? The others were more of a threat than she could ever really be with just her powers.
The Chameleon watched as Narcissa sent one of the Sentinel’s flying towards the tree line, but only managing to take off an arm and some metal. She seemed to hit it with enough force and heat to put it down for the time being, which was good, seeing as two more decided to drop in on them. Six more in total had apparently arrived, splitting up between the groups of ‘hostile’ mutants. One of the new bots began repairs on the other that had been taken down by Psyche. "Oh hell." This of course was going to make things harder.
Jacen had seemed to team up with Payton, using her power to project himself towards one of the new bots, the one that was attempting to make repairs. Daylia bounced back and forth, waiting for her own cue. A small idea had crossed her mind to get their attention. If she could get her hands to glow like Cissa’s and even copy the heat signature she was able to let off, maybe she could seem like a bigger threat than what she was. But for now she simply assumed she would be more of a distraction to her team.
They needed to take out the guard, or at least distract him, which someone had realized. The guy, Anthony called for Payton to attack it. Daylia allowed her camo power to kick in, making her not only invisible to the eyes around her but to the heat seeking programing the machines might have. She had to move, she had to do something. They needed the machines to be lured from the school, so she took off towards the tree line, making her way around the bulk of the fight. When she felt she was a safe enough distance away from those who were actually fighting, she stopped and turned around, allowing her power to change. The background colors faded, and were soon replaced by a bright yellow, almost white as she tried to lift the temperature signal of her body, attempting to make herself stick out as a target. ""

Bianca heard Bella's reply to her initial question. With a nod she wasn't sure where she should put her abilities to good use. Then with the subsequent events she teamed up with Cannonball to take down the sentinel in front of Bella. The only problem was the thing was threatening to crush the songstress into the ground. Despite Bianca's warning Bella didn't seem to be moving. Looking to the woman the umbrakinetic saw a very familiar emotion in the young woman's eyes, it didn't take long for her to realize that Bella had froze. Bianca had did her fair share of freezing in the face of danger and the like. Unfortunately Bianca wasn't near fast enough to move Bella, nor could she hope to knock the sentinel off target from her current position.
Dread filled the brunette as she stared on in horror. A cry dieing in her throat at the thought of her being the cause for the woman's death. Shock filled features took in the magnetic push from Eli, but didn't register immediately that Bella was in danger. When it finally clicked Bianca fell to the ground letting out a breath that she hadn't been aware she was holding in relief. That was way too close. After a few moments she scrambled to her feet, and with one quick look to make sure she wasn't being targeted, quickly moved over to Bella. "I am soooo sorry Siren. I-I thought you were going to move and really I didn't even think I would knock it over. Please forgive me?"
Thomas who was next to Bella looked at the brunette and quickly spoke to her. "It's alright Opaque these things happen and no one blames you. Right now however, we really need you out there helping to defeat the Sentinels okay? If you want to have a private chat with Siren about this I am sure she will oblige. Really though you are only going to hear my words repeated. It wasn't your fault."
The healer made sense and with one more apologetic look at Bella stood up and straight and walked off, but not before speaking one more time. "I am so sorry really. Please forgive me?" After speaking she turned around and headed away from the group. Unfortunately where the umbrakinetic would do the most good she didn't know. Getting on the comm she broadcasted out to the Alphas. "This is Opaque is there anyone that could use my help?" Speaking in what had become her usual meek voice she waited for an answer. For now she would remain vigilant of any openings or sentinels attempting to target her, just until someone answered her message.
(Permission given to auto Thomas by his awesome roleplayer. lol Oh and no, nobody is a little stuck on their self. ninja )

Tara Kiernan Mutation: Geokinesis Alpha Location: Courtyard --> Outside Girl's Dormatory - Take it Down Tara was glad that Lillian took the geokinetic up on the offer of her power for what was happening, standing patiently as the power mimic slipped off her glove and made contact with her skin. It was a strange sensation, and she made a mental note to learn more about the girl’s power now that they were going to be living together. That kind of knowledge might come in handy if they ever got in a tight spot. Well, when they got in their next tight spot. Apparently, there really was never a dull moment around the Academy. At the very least, she was glad that those she called to follow her were on her heels as she took off towards the sentinel she’d set her sights on. She was barefoot, but that probably only aided her speed as she took off across the grass, her powers still pulling the rocks from the garden that she’d ripped up earlier behind her. Lillian asked Jinx to reintroduce herself when everything was over so that they could have a proper greeting, and Tara simply nodded in agreement. This really wasn’t the time or the place for the whole “getting to know you” song and dance. Not to mention, she was already too focused on what was about to go down to really care too much about getting the girl’s name right and committed to memory. One good thing about bringing the girl with them was that she seemed to have some knowledge of these machines that the others didn’t. Brown eyes turned to her when the new Omega stated that they were running out of time to take it down before it started elimination procedures. “ Sounds like we better get our asses into gear, then,” she responded, turning sights back onto the machine that was invading her new home. Tara was the first to launch an attack at the sentinel when they got close enough, cutting off it’s attempted assault on the three mutant women with a swift rocky punch to the side of the head. She called for the others to help her and, true to form, they performed beautifully. Copycat manipulated a section of earth behind the machine’s foot as it staggered backwards from the geokinetic’s assault, Jinx shooting some sort of green bolt at the machine’s head that hit it directly in the face. It might have been nice to know what she could do before this little outing, but right now she was just glad that the girl had some semblance of aim. Jinx muttered something that she couldn’t quite hear over the sound of the sentinel “switching its priority systems” as a result of the attack, which was apparently what the new Omega had expected. She shot another green bolt at the machine’s chest, Tara readying a rock to continue the assault if they needed to, but instead saw the chest plate melt. “ Nice shooting, Tex,” she managed to call out before the girl’s comm device went off with the sound of a British voice. She reported in, like she already knew what she was doing, and Tara simply swung both arms in a wide arc from the outside into her chest, the two boulders in the air mirroring her movements. Just as the green bolt connected with the sentinel, Tara realized that she’d been watching more than anything else – how embarrassing. “ Copycat, I think it wants you to hold its hand,” she called out to the other girl as the machine raised it’s open palm towards them. Tara swung her arms in a wide arc from out at her sides into her chest as the boulders she had been holding the air mimicked her movements. They came crashing into either side of the machine’s head, hoping to crush it like the over-sized tin can it was. (( If I missed anyone, please let me know. I apologize for the crappiness that is this post. ><'' ))

Name: Raine "Glitter" Burke Team: Alphas Power: Creation and Manipulation of Electricity Location: Front Yard Apparently, her prayers had been answered when she saw the blur that was Aurelie and Felix. Then she just wished that a sentinel would kill her on the spot – she was happy to see the blonde, but wished she’d showed up on a white horse instead of a fast-moving douchebag. Now wasn’t the time to dwell on her personal feelings…this wasn’t the time or the place. The air between Kat and Leo seemed thick with a history, an understanding, that she just didn’t understand. Not only did she feel awful from the night before, but now she felt stupid to – they were having a conversation she could never hope to understand right now. It was a feeling that she hated. And then, she suddenly felt the need to throw up after making sure that Roland was alright. He assured her that he was fine, mentioning that his armor was already starting to grow back. “ Alright, if you’re sure,” she responded, her hand closing around her mouth as the feeling turned into a reality. Poor Raine just wasn’t having the easiest of mornings. By the time she was done, she saw Leo thrown backwards by a sentinel, Kat’s form taking the shape of a giant…elephant? She did what she could to distract the machine from crushing it’s intended target like a bug, only to be met with an energy beam for her troubles. The scream that had been forming in her chest was silenced the minute the beam hit her, sending her backwards. It surprised her that she wasn’t dead, and then she was even more surprised at the power that she felt welled up in her chest, feeling like she was about to explode from the welled up energy. She released a powerful beam of electricity towards the machine that had been trying to take out Leo, the sheer heat from the beam alone enough to heat the metal and cause it to start melting. Even she had to admit that was kind of cool. It was only then that she made her way over to Leo to see if he was alright, while ele- Kat took off in a rampage towards the sentinel that Roland had been dealing with. She was impressed with the girl’s handling of the machine, even if she was a little freaked out, still, by the fact that she was now an elephant. A trumpeting, pissed off elephant. Roland sent out his own request for help, though Raine questioned if there would be enough people to come to their aid. It seemed like every portion of the academy was getting hit hard, and there just weren’t enough of them around to take down these machines that were so intent on completing their task. A task that had changed from detain to kill. She couldn’t help but smile when Leo told her that she did a good job taking the machine down, giving him a small nod. Of course, she didn’t want it to go to her head, but it felt nice to know that she did something right. Especially in current company – she’d done enough damage to her ego and reputation within the last 24 hours. And then more bad news came. Raine groaned when she heard a report over the communicators that there were more sentinels inbound to their location, hazel eyes turning to the sky as she tried to see the white illuminations that the person had been talking about. She finally saw them as they were starting to break formation and land at various points around the academy, different people from different points of the base calling for backup. It felt like a war zone, not that she was unfamiliar with the feeling since her time here at the Academy. But this felt…different, somehow. She couldn’t quite place it. Leo, again true to form, stepped into the leadership role as he started to organize their little group. She paid extra attention when she heard her name called, nodding when he told her to go for the kill once he got the hold in the machine’s chest opened. “ Sure, I got you,” she responded, hands balling into fists as electricity sparked around them. They set out to their tasks, shadowcat phasing through the machine’s leg to stun it, while Renaissance Man set about his task as well. He performed it perfectly, creating a hole through the machine’s chest area and, though it was clear that he was injured when he landed on the other side. Now, it was time for Raine to make her move. Bringing her arms forward, she released a large, concentrated ball of electricity that slammed into the injured machine, surging through it’s circuits. It was then that she saw a figure leap from the room at the sentinels that were closest to them, dispatching of them like he was a human can opener. Gideon. He severed the hand of the sentinel that grabbed ahold of him, landing lard next to Leo and the short-circuited sentinel they had just taken down, asking if they could use the hand. “ Is this really the time for bad puns,” she yelled out towards him, throwing an arc of electricity over towards the one-handed sentinel in a hopes of stunning it so they could take it down permanently. Her voice might have sounded a bit annoyed, but he would be able to tell that she was glad their former teammate had shown up when he did. ( Please let me know if I missed anything, or if I misinterpreted anything. Sorry for the wait! )

The Omegas: Front Yard |896|"Are you lost in your lies? Do you tell yourself, 'I don't realize.' Your crusade's a disguise. Replaced freedom with fear, You trade money for lives. I'm aware of what you've done." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Felix smirked as Aurelie mentioned what she wanted on her casket. So orchids were probably her favorite flower or at the very least a flower she liked. No one would want a flower they hated on their casket. Making a mental note to remember he replied to the blond. "Roses gotcha. I might even throw in a few dandelions to help brighten things up." His answer being just as sarcastic as hers he listened as the blond continued speaking. "Relax Blondie I already stated that I would remember you wanted lilies. There is nothing to fear." When it was mentioned she could blame him Felix smirked, but said nothing else. There didn't seem to be a need at this point. As Aurelie mentioned Dom wasn't currently Cissa's and was quite far from passing gym he shrugged. "While I can not debate that fact, I don't think Cissa would see it that way. No matter it's up to you. I do have to ask what kind of guy fails gym. It's easy and I barely try."
As he picked up on the hint of a yet to her statement the blond responded in kind though quietly. Pretending not to hear her Felix simply let the conversation move on chalking that one up to a win. It was the little things. Pretending to be shocked and hurt didn't work on Aurelie and she responded to him not pretend to be shocked. Chuckling the speedster got a smug look on his face. "Perhaps what you say is true, but perhaps it isn't. At this point does it really matter? People won't be changing their opinions anytime soon." No doubt there were enough people that had encountered him that did not have favorable opinion of him that weren't going to change their minds anytime soon. Not to mention Felix wasn't going to try and change their minds.
As they went back and forth a little more Felix mentioned her being near perfect and Aurelie responded in kind. With her mentioning not even wanting to go in the first place and as such that was the cause for her appearance he tapped a finger to his chin. "Sounds like someone has a narcissistic tendencies. It's hardly an attractively personality trait you know." Amusement and sarcasm lacing his tone the speedster didn't say anymore preferring to let her respond first. With the arrival of the sentinels a plan formed in his mind and despite Emma trying to convince the blond otherwise Aurelie went along with his plan hopping on his back. Felix responded about Emma really going along with his plan and when the telekinetic responded her words didn't disappoint. "My nose? That is what you are going with? Calling me Pinocchio? There were so many better come backs."
Despite his words he continued grinning the entire time. When she responded again and shrug was given. "You can try and deny that you think my plan is genius all you want. I don't buy it for a second." When the subject of her scratching his was brought up they both dealt out a couple good jokes and Aurelie responded again. "I may talk a lot of game, but I have both the experience and stamina to back up my claims. Besides who said I had no evidence?" Really to Felix she had already warmed up to him a great deal since their initial encounter. Now at least she was joking around with him and not scowling at him.
As Aurelie called him speedy over the comm Felix took that as a sign she didn't know his codename, not that he knew hers either naturally. "It's Dart in the field sweetheart." As they stopped and Aurelie set to work on a sentinel Felix kept his eyes peeled to make sure that they didn't get attacked while remaining still. With the blond's words Felix turned to look at her out of the corner of his eyes. "Yes let me just pull out my laser pistol to do that." Sarcasm lacing his every word the Speedster abruptly moved again. Staying in one place was a bad idea. A nod in agreement was given at it having hurt. "It sure seemed that way." Feeling her grip tighter it was obvious before she said so that getting on her own feet was not on the agenda yet. "That it does for the moment." With Leo needing them with a request to them from Aurelie's comm that was their next destination.
Arriving and giving everyone a once over his eyes hardened slightly at the sight of Raine. "Let's get this over with blondie. The sooner the better." Watching the others for a moment he moved multiple times around a sentinel before moving straight ahead. The sentinel seemed to be adjusting as necessary to the speedster's speed the long they moved. The shots were getting nearer and as Felix dodged another one and started running straight again the ground in front of them a few feet was suddenly shot sending up debris. Reacting on instinct the man jumped up in the air as far as he could clearing the debris and landing on the other side, skidding to a halt as he did. "That was close. Bastards seem to be adjusting. I still say they are unintelligent however for the record." That was code for put the sentinel down.

No doubt the guy was probably trying to nurse a hangover – such a deed was common the day after prom. “Junk food always settles the stomach.” The cowboy remarked with good humor. Thomas exchanged a few stories of things he'd missed while he'd been gone, but as always, remained modest about his own experiences. “I'm sure you have more than that in your bag of tricks. Working in the infirmary would give you access to all the things that went catastrophic.”
As bright and light hearted as the day had started, the sentinels caused an overcast, and most of the Alpha and Omega squadrons rushed outside to handle the problem. His healing friend had snagged one of the Omegas from the game room, a girl named Emlen who insisted that Thomas stay out of harm's way. That alone was enough to earn brownie points from the Texan. The Alpha hadn't exactly enjoyed Blake's remark on the situation either, but his response garnered a shrug from him. “Call it like I see it.” He said, a small grin in his voice.
By the time they were out on the field and moving, Blake had lost sight of the Alpha leader – having no idea how traumatized she was to be back, fighting against the forces out to get them. Eli said that he mistook what he meant, but Blake shook his head. “I'm a molecular manipulator – anything I pass through is disassembled – which will create the hole you require to access the internal parts.” He explained simply, patient despite the fact that the man had underestimated him. Being “sticky” wasn't his only talent – it'd just been the one he'd perfected first.
He'd been busy plowing through one of the sentinel's legs to bring it to to the ground, and subsequently going through its torso area once he could reach. This way, Railgun could make mincemeat of its insides – decimate what was left so that the damned machine wouldn't start to self-repair. He realized too late that Bella had frozen – only to see the magnet user save her in just the nick of time. Rushing over, the cowboy's head tilted toward the Sentinel he'd left for him to polish off. “I left a chunk of him for you..” He said in a southern drawl, taking a hold of Bella in a protective stance.
Apparently, the last thing she needed was to be outside, facing the robots. Even if she was her normal self, this would have been hard for her. Thomas suggested that she go back and help the children and Blake nodded in agreement, thinking his best friend was much too precious to stay out here out of pride. “We've got this, doll. And sometimes, it takes the strongest of fighters and survivors to know when they aren't ready.” His voice rang true, the promise that there was no shame in retreating laced in his words.
“The kids are probably scared...” The cowboy murmured, trying to coax her to her senses. “Being of use inside is no less than being out here.” There was a please braided into his statement, and he only hoped she would listen. "With the way that the Alphas and Omegas are taking these things down, it's not going to end up like Genosha, but someone ought to take care of the little ones, tell them it's going to be okay..."

“Alright, well how about six more, and we’ll split them up 50/50.” Dimitri joked to Thomas. He wasn’t one hundred percent sure what his power was but certainly it could take down a sentinel right? If not, then it looked like Dimitri was going to scratch a few off the list. “Will do.” Dimitri told him in a tone of certainty when he advised to say on the outside of the chaos. “Playboy Airlines taking off…”
At the back of the mansion where he took down another sentinel, his firepower was good when it came down to taking down the sentinel. Now the rest of its friends would get a taste. “No problem at all.” He said, packaging his reply with assuring tone and smile towards the cryokinetic.
Dimitri couldn’t hear the plans that B would offer him since his device got fried. The only one he had left was the one that Warp gave him to stay in contact. He just hoped that through all of this mess, that little device somehow stayed intact and away from any sentinel harm. He glanced over to the broken sentinel, noticing that the magma traces that he left as a result of his power was being turn to molten rock by the water. That was when the voice in head cursed out, remembering that he left traces of his power on the first sentinel that he took down!
It was just on the neck region where he connected but since it was on the ground, there was a chance that it would have ignited the grass around it. If that was the case, then Dimitri had to go back and reduce the temperature of the magma, so that it wouldn’t ignite the grass on the campus. Otherwise he would have taken part of destroying his home that, next to living with his parents, accepted him for him. On the flipside, there was a chance of so much s**t being ignited from the cords and circuitry of the broken sentinels that it would have been useless to go back now and try to atone. It would be like dousing off a portion of a circle of fire with a bucket of water.
His attention was back to Sleet, and her worlds of water that were her eyes(and face) who was refilling her aqua ammunition. Luckily their environment had her source otherwise she would have been stuck in a pickle, and by pickle, a big purple robot that could be mistaken for the last few seconds before a dubstep drop. “You can’t generate it without an outside source, or does it take too much to do right now?” he asked. There were those that needed an outside source at the level of power they were at. Dimitri was one of the few who was not in that category. While it was perhaps an easier experience to grasp one’s powers, he could pick a time where his powers needed an outside source. He understood if it was a question that could have waited until they weren’t getting their house remodeled. Curiosity just arrived at a not-so good time.
“Lead the way; I got your back from the skies.” The playboy told her. It would have been smart to travel together rather than split now and hope that they find Bella without any damage being done to them. Plus she had the device, so she had a better direction and who would have needed the most help than Playboy. Her next question implied that she wasn’t here during the mall incident or the nightmare before Dimitri got crippled event as well. “Sentinels rolling deep at the mansion, no. However we do have taco Tuesday, mutant bingo night and Zumba. I think you pay a little extra for the Zumba though.”(one of the johnny storm pics where the "4" isn't so visible. him and the few pics of molten man were similar so i just went w/this.)

╰☆╮ Name: Katarina Force ╰☆╮ Alias: Kali ╰☆╮ Team: Alpha, Apparently.╰☆╮ Ability: Shape Shifter ╰☆╮ Location: Academy: Outside ╰☆╮
"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold." ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ Rossi seemed to ignore her commentary entirely, and she rolled her eyes, muttering a few choice insults in Italian. It wasn’t as if this were the time or place for a verbal standoff…But there was just something about the Agent that got under her skin. To which end, she wasn’t sure… Maybe because he was one of the few S.H.I.E.L.D cronies that could give her a run for her money. Katarina drew back from the mangled Sentinel, ignoring the pain in her massive feet. It would hurt like hell when she shifted back…Similar wounds on human hands would require treatment. Adrenaline made the elephant mind antsy…It bubbled beneath her own; giving her insight to the animal instincts she wouldn’t otherwise know. Feeling pressure along her flank she tensed, large head shooting to the side…Her eyesight was too poor, and at the wrong angle. But the voice easily told her who it was. Dimly she remembered Roland. From the porch…Recalled that he was quite attractive when not clad in that strange exoskeleton. Though aside from offering to turn him into her proverbial scratch post…She couldn’t bring fourth much else. Tormenting Isabella had taken precedence. Were she able to speak she would have snarled at the notion of treating her like an actual animal— Buying her peanuts. That was not a form of payment she accepted. But the tenseness of the situation kept her on point as she remained transformed next to the armored berserker. That is, until two more Sentinels landed. She could make out their shapes… The shapes of the others—But definite details were skewed. She heard Rossi making a plan, dishing orders. It seemed a little bit like suicide...Though from personal experience, he as a tough nut to crack. There was just long enough to smell human blood and ozone from Raine’s electrical discharge before they had their own Sentinel to deal with. Suddenly Gideon came from no where and started to slice and dice the metal-monsters without flinching. She would know the sound of his claws unsheathing anywhere—Even through an elephants ears. She felt phantom pains that reminded her what they felt like sliding into the flesh of her neck. Something zipped around the field of engagement faster than she could follow. It seemed to be giving the Sentinel with the missing hand a hard time. Eventually she caught sight of the blur when it stopped moving, noting that it was two individuals. Not one. Lowering her massive head she repeated the same charge attack she’d made on the other machine. Fighting of this magnitude was foreign to her. She was a spy. Stealthy and slick…But there was no creature in her arsenal other than the elephant that could even hope to damage such a monstrosity. Being prepared for the impact wasn’t going to happen—So she let her several ton body connect, raising her tusks as it went off balance to try and impale it.
It half worked.
She ripped her head to the left, tearing through part of the Sentinel’s midsection as she had before… But this machine wasn’t as deeply damaged as the last. It rose the only hand it had left, and Katarina realized it seconds too late. She was too large. Too slow.
Some kind of brightness erupted from its palm and plowed directly into her flank. The force of it sent her tumbling, causing the ground to shake as she hit. Dust rose in the air and the elephant shrank. Grey skin faded to a fleshy pink tone and literally melted away. Tusks flattened and resembled limp noodles as they shrunk back into normal human teeth… The small Italian girl unintentionally shifted back due to the trauma, reflexively curling into herself to make herself a smaller target.
H.Y.D.R.A. taught it’s children to ignore pain. To understand that it was only a temporary state. The thick hide of the elephant had provided some kind of protection…But a deeply gnarled, blackened, bloodied gash was still visible through her burned pink leotard. Her arms remained held inward, wrists crossed near her chest in a failing effort to protect her hands. They were deeply lacerated from using her feet to crush the first Sentinel’s circuitry. Normally she would have moved immediately. It was her anthem, never stay in the same place when the enemy knows where you are.
But blackness kept pooling into her vision, no matter how she tried to banish it. The feeling of laying in sticky warm wetness made her grimace. Blood smelled that way, felt that way… Some part of her was resigned. This was the truth, wasn't it?
Wolves couldn't coexist with the lambs.
Her fully human head dropped as she lost consciousness, something akin to relief flooding her as her body fell slack.

Her eye visibly twitched when the Omega pretended to take notes on what she wanted for her casket spray. He told her to relax, that he was only joking... and she shook her head. This man's sense of humor seemed geared toward getting a rise out of the people around him. Normally, she'd find it amusing; this morning however, after just listening to him threaten to tell Narcissa about Dom's late night hang out... she wasn't sure if he was serious or not.
“People fail gym if they don't show up.” Aurelie said flatly, obviously just a little miffed that the Slovene couldn't find it within himself to get his happy little a** to class. “I'm just happy my area of study doesn't require busy work in the way of physical education. Obviously, by our age we know how important it is to stay active.” For a moment it was easy to forget that Dominik hadn't gotten to college yet. But given the talks they'd had, she doubted he'd ever shoot for anything further than a few business classes his freshman year. As he'd put it, his Godfather wouldn't be so happy about it, but he didn't see the point in wasting money over something he really didn't care about.
Whatever could be said about the telekinetic in flaws, no one could say she wasn't honest or that she was left lacking in the intelligence department like the stereotypical blond. She'd told him that he needn't pretend to be hurt, because she knew for a fact that he had already been well aware of his reputation throughout the school. Apparently, he reveled in it. “People won't change their minds unless you muster up the ability to care about what they think, and set out to prove them wrong.” And by the looks of things, she highly doubted that would be happening any time soon.
They spoke about the main event of the weekend, and Felix had given her a sideways compliment – shocking nonetheless. She shrugged when he mentioned narcissistic tendencies. “I never said I had an attractive personality, but I have heard from time to time, that when I try, I can clean up pretty nicely.” She remarked honestly, arms still folded across her chest. “Besides, you said nearly perfect... what's the harm with agreeing with you?” The night before she'd had doubts, knowing that her dress hadn't been appropriate for such an outing like prom, but he'd not needed to know that.
As the ground shook beneath them, both she and Felix scrambled to figure out what was going on; a quick look out of a nearby window gave them ample reason to think, and she went along with his plan – despite Emma's request for her not to. In the process she'd called him out on his line of bullshit – strung together with the claim that the telepath loved him more than Scott, and that she was totally behind this plan. Aurelie told him to watch his nose, or it might get too big for his face. “For a wooden puppet, you catch on pretty quickly.” She said, returning his grin as she climbed onto his back. “And here I thought that wood was either hollow, or very dense with no in between.” The girl teased.
They settled into going in with his idea, and she leaned forward so that he might hear her. “It's a solid plan, but that doesn't change the fact that Miss Frosty doesn't want us to go through with it.” They exchanged a few more jokes – mostly about his prowess in bed, and she laughed. “I've yet to see any sufficient data to back your claims.” Though, just from their little bout this morning, he was changing a few of her opinions on him. That one... that one she wanted to leave alone.
“I prefer 'Speedy,' but I suppose Dart will do.” Aurelie responded, teasing into her comm. He had a sarcastic remark of his own, regarding a laser pistol and Aurelie tilted her head and made her voice sound as innocent and naïve as possible. “Oh you have one of those? How convenient.”
She tightened her grip when he seemed to think she was ready to end her ride after speaking with Bella. “This is working rather well.” The blond explained. She mentioned that the sentinel's fall had to hurt, and Felix agreed much to her amusement. “Remind me not to try that one on my own.”
As they sped about, the telekinetic kept her eyes sharp, watching for potential disasters that they might be able to help out with. It was Leo's voice that called to her next, asking for her to be out front. “Be there in less than a sec.” She responded, figuring Felix would go where he was needed. “Just let us know if you think we'll be more useful doing something else.” The blond said when she was able to get a breath. She slammed the sentinel that she and her speedy partner had been working on into the ground with an invisible hand.
Aurelie waved at Glitter, giving her enough time to smile when they slowed down enough to stand right next to Leo. “I see the night of drinking and fun didn't kill you last night. Heard you had a hot date.” She said, never really taking her eye off the target. Multi-tasking, when they were obviously winning in a scene that felt more like it belonged to iRobot than the Academy was easy.
As time went on however, the sentinel's shots drew closer to them with every round – close enough that she could feel the heat of their last blast. “Let's take care of this before one of those hit us.”
But just as she said it, her blue eyes caught sight of the elephant shrinking. The sentinel was still locked on her as a target and the blond shook her head. “We've got to move her.” She said, lifting the girl's limp body from the ground. “Get her to the infirmary!” She said, pushing the girl's form to Gideon. She'd seen the two together the past few days, but hadn't caught onto the fact that it was a very tense relationship. While she and Felix could do it, she wasn't sure she could move her telekinesis as fast as her speed-driven partner would move.
Another telekinetic push drove the attacking sentinel stumbling back, and she lifted it to spin the robot so that any locked targets would be out of sight momentarily. With an extra strain she slammed it onto its back, and looked to the animal mimic. “Now's your chance. Let's end this.” Any more actual damage would have to come from the people with more destructive powers. While she could beat the form into the ground like it was a hammer hitting a nail until it flattened, it'd be more productive with someone who had a better destructive power to end the robot's existence.

Alpha: Outside with Jinx and Landslide trashing a sentinel!. It was interesting how each element gave a different sensation when their energies were coursing though her body. Earth gave a strong sturdy dependable feeling, that only increased when her bare feet touched the groun after she ditched her shoes as Tara had. Though she was certain the feelings she got when she had used fire and water previously had been distorted from how it would naturally given the users she gained them from were serum enhanced. Lillian easily fell in step with Landslide and Jinx as they made their way to the sentinel. Lillian was pleased to hear Jinx relay information she had about the robots. Guess she had been around the last time these things had been deployed. "Good to know thanks for the heads up Jinx." Lillian replied so the others would know she had heard the information. Even with the confidence boost the power of earth or Tara herself was giving her, she was hoping they would have this one down at least before it switched to murder instead of capture. The massive robot was still a bit unbalanced but wasn't deeming to fall. It must of had stabalizing gyros in it to compensate. Copycat saw a bolt of green energy hit the Sentinel square in the face. The blast didn't seem to do anything to the robot then it switched to destroy over capture. Muttering from Jinx about being afriad what had happen, would well happen. It left Lillian with an idea about the girls powers. though right now wasn't the time to let such thoughts in her mind there were more important things to deal with. Another of Jinx's green bolts slammed into the creatures chest which inturn caused a reaction leaving the chest area clearly weakened. "Way to go Jinx that is perfect!" Lillian said pulling up a large stone. She heard Solaris' very familiar voice come through Jinx's comm. and the girl say something in reply. "s**t!" Lillian said slamming the boulder she recently pulled up into the underside of the hand of the sentinel causeing the beam weapon it had in it's palm to miss be firing off into the air. The power mimic's concentration had been on forming the boulder into a crude spike, if it wasn't for Landslide's warning they well her at the very least would of been blasted. Which as a result would of ended the girl right there and then. Blow's to it's head for her roommate and another blast from Jinx kept the big machine distracted so Lillian could pulls bits off the rock so it would have a rough point on it. Thanks to the divit she made earlier and Jinx's latest bolt seeming to cause the machine to malfunction, the roughly made spike was able to hit home on the sentinel's top most portion of the sentinel's chest. It stuck in place and with the thing already unbalanced and seeming to malfunction it toppled backward. "Landslide hammer it through!" Copycat exclaimed motioning to the rock embeded in the automatons chest as it lay prone on it's back. ((OOC: Permission given by Jinx's player to say what her last attack did to the sentinel.))

╳ Codename: Aegis ╳ Team: Omega ╳ Location: --- ╳ Thinking: ---╳ Michael's eyes lit up as a variant of an M107 was placed before him, it was smaller, more compact, but none the less, a .50 Caliber rifle. He'd always wanted to use them in combat. But, he never had the opportunity. <********> As Gabriel broadcasted his message to the authority figures, he held his hand over the railing system, asking in silence to pick up the weapon and check it out. Gabriel nodded to him as he finished saying what needed to be said, then saying to him about bugging out.
Michael picked up the rifle, it was lighter than the standard .50 Cal. A given do to it's more compact size. He looked over the rifle, leveled it, looked through the scope. Messed with it slightly and adjusted it to his preference and slid the bolt back, checking the chamber. He locked it in place and turned to Gabriel. "You know Siege, if I bug out, you bug out. Simple as that. I'm not leaving you behind, even if I'm dragging you by the collar." Michael reached into the bag and pulled out two of the magazines, placing one on the table next to him, and the other into the well. The photokinetic released the bipods and propped it up on the table. "Ready when you are Vulcan Cannon." He told Gabriel, giving him yet again, another nick name. Gabriel Pulled out the range finder and sat next to Michael. A few moments passed before Gabriel called out the distance of two Sentinels, both in the immediate vicinity of Bella, Bianca, Blake, and Thomas. Michael adjusted for the first one, clicking the release, the bolt slid forward, locking in the first round, a satisfying sound to Michael's ears.
He timed his breathing, and as it got to the height of his breath, he squeezed the trigger and with a loud resounding shot, the round went flying and tore through the sentinel's shoulder. A hole approximately a foot and a half wide left the sentinel's left shoulder completely useless. The shot rang loud enough to leave a ringing in his ear. It was almost debilitating for Michael, that he needed to take a pause just to insert his ear protection. In a matter of seconds he was back on the gun, and Gabriel was once again calling out ranges as the sentinel had redirected his attention to the origin of the shot. "Keep the calls coming."
