Superhuman Ability: Telekinesis (Heavy focus on Transvection)

Description: Telekinesis is the ability for a person to psychically influence tangible matter with the intangible mind, particularly over long distances.

Strengths: Aurelie has the ability to move things with her mind, specifically making them hover, propel them through the air, and such. What she's most skilled at, is propelling herself from the ground, by using a concussive push towards the ground to enable her own levitation. (Used most commonly when trying to perfect a ballet move) When levitating objects, she can move things to 'shield' herself, or hurl an object at an enemy.

Her ability will eventually be fine tuned enough that she'll be able to dial pass codes and such without using her hands, and sew patches in her clothes. Objects she lifts with her mind can be heavier than what she could actually lift physically, by using a concussive force to “lift” it, versus her actual strength.

Weaknesses: Telekinesis causes a certain amount of mental stress, and while she can levitate multiple items at once, the more weight in the air, the more concentration it requires, and the less amount of time she can hold them there. Her brain can only handle so much, and if overused, she is like to collapse of fatigue, have nose and eye bleeds, and can even end up to an extended visit to an infirmary, while her mind forcibly goes into a coma to recover. It's also harder to change the direction of larger objects while they are in the air.

Other: The speed of which she can move an object depends entirely on how much the object weighs. The heavier the object, the slower she'll be able to move it. However, in these instances, she'd focus more on height versus a speedy distance, and let it “fall” onto a desired target.

Abilities (not gained from mutation): Classical Ballet, pointe and jazz. (Explained in bio); sewing, farming, domestic abilities. Horsemanship; bilingual. German and English. (German explained in the bio)

Non-mutant power skills: Classical Dance and Modern – Advanced; classical piano; advanced.

Power Levels:

Physical Strength (1-10): 4
Speed (1-10): 3
Durability (1-10): 2
Intelligence (1-10): 5
Energy (1-10): 6
Agility (1-10): 4
Power Mastery (1-20): 7

Personal Strengths: Aurelie is independent, because she's had to be. She's got a good work ethic, she has the lithe grace of a dancer, and is open minded since being booted from her home.

Personal Weaknesses: Often, she won't know when to ask for help, and will remain very private about her own personal issues, so many won't know if something is wrong or not. She sees her power as a failing, after having it kick her from both things that she loves, she'll not likely think anything higher of her power for a long while.

Personality: A bit of a paradox; her hometown taught her that to try and seek glory, but her heart is that of a dancer, one that wants to be seen upon the stage. She's artful, but the lines of her power require a vigilance she only really wants to have for dancing. It's all or nothing with her. Always. She can become fixated on one thing, and not let it go. (ie. don't piss her off, she'll hold one hell of a grudge.)

She also holds onto some of the Amish principles, despite being excommunicated from the church.

Hobbies: She loves to collect buttons, and not like, the witty buttons you pin to your clothes... she likes the ones that have to be sewn, fasteners.. as she'll call them.

Other: Things to know about the Amish: The entire community is fluent in German; they aren't allowed to wear fasteners; musical instruments aren't allowed. Photos are strictly forbidden; so she'll be camera shy, even now.

Mutant/Human Relations View: In relation to mutants, Aurelie would like, above everything else to have peace between the groups. She'd like to have mutants accepted, and doesn't quite understand why God doesn't love mutants too.

User ImageHistory:
Perhaps, it'd be best to start, as though this were a story rather than a report demanded for review. And often times, these sorts of things start with “So and so was born at this location.” However, it's truly rare that a story starts there, because then, it is only the end, or even the middle of someone else's story. It might be better then, to start with not who was born where, but just where this particular chapter of this exact story unfolded.

We would start then, in one of the northern most counties of Indiana, Elkhart. It isn't like many other towns in the aspect that there aren't any tall buildings, most of them are made from creek stones and timber. The roads aren't always paved, but are paths of red dirt for the populace to use with their buggies. The air is crisp in the fall, like biting into a sweet apple, the plains have the slightest roll to them, and farmland stretches out as far as one can see, far enough to kiss the borders of trees that mark a forest in the country side.

It is, what the people there call a remarkable sight.

In such a community, often there is an associated culture linked to the population, and such is the case of Elkhart County. Most of the people, Robert Nissley included, are tradesmen, do crafts of some sort for commerce, and own a private part of land for crops strictly for their families. And all members of the town, are heavily educated in the ways of their religion and agriculture above everything else. Women are taught to sew, and are devoted wives, sisters and friends.

Robert Nissley, the head of the household that we will explore, is a mason. No, not mason in the way that Ben Franklin was a mason, but is a man who works with stone for his living. Often, he helps build houses for those who adore the Amish artisans; he helps build houses for new couples... and this is how he provided for his staggering nine children that he and Mary were blessed enough to have. Like most families, the Nissleys weren't without their problems or their celebrations; their first born –Anna – decided to abandon their faith, leaving the family behind, never to return. Anna had decided, despite the rigid structure she'd grown up in and live amongst the glitz and glam at her first opportunity.

Charles married, and has had two children … whom he plans to teach about stone carving when they come of age.

Little Eva died of SIDS a few years later, leaving the family heart broken. Robert Junior was kicked by a sick horse when he was nine, and the injuries killed him almost instantaneously. Thomas, the Nissleys have learned has a way with timber, and is quite the carpenter for his age. James and Elizabeth are close, and remain quite the trouble makers of their household.

But none of his children were so troublesome as Mary (named after her mother). Mary Auralee was of an inquisitive nature, always second guessing what the church thought, always thought about more of the world than what she knew. While her culture focused on the immediate group, Mary's imagination ran rampant, and ever was she singing lively tunes that hadn't anything to do with hymns, and dancing with movements that wouldn't be deemed appropriate when caught. It was unholy; and where she'd been taught the piques, arabesques her parents hadn't the faintest idea. (I'm quite sure you're bored reading this by now. Bios are quite bland for me, and for that, I apologize.)

But unbeknownst to her family, Mary had picked up a book left by the tourists who frequented their town. The book, with lots of pictures (which were strange to her, because it was forbidden to allow pictures to be taken of themselves, or even for them to snap photos for the passerbys), explaining the art of dance, and just for fun, she tried out the poses, working them together in a way that must have been quite silly. Most of the words she couldn't pronounce, funny little symbols over the letters, and it looked all french to her. (She didn't know the differentiation between languages: Russian, Italian, French)

To have kept this secret would have made for a very short story, and merely for her family to have discovered this book, and the others she pilfered on the same subject, would have brought a harsh punishment to the child. But, that would easily be remedied, and you'd really be wasting your time reading this at all. (You still might be, I make no promises of otherwise saying that you should in fact continue)

She was twelve when it happened the first time. Mary had been reading about the grace expected of a ballerina, one that would twirl flawlessly, be the picture of elegance, fluid in all movement. She'd been trying to do a 'ballon,' when it happened. (Ballon means to bounce, where the dancer can show the lightness of the movement. It describes a quality, not the elevation or height, of the jump. Even in small, quick jumps (petite allégro), dancers strive to exhibit ballon. A dancer exhibiting ballon would spring off the floor and appear to pause mid-air before landing.) She didn't come down from the air. She was stuck, suspended above the ground.. for several minutes, before her feet hit the floor.

For the first time in her life, Mary got to see the things she'd envisioned, dreamt about. Very briefly. She'd actually thought, for a moment, that it was supposed to happen. Until her toes reached for the floor, and wouldn't make contact. She tried once again, when she finally came back down to earth.

And she did it again, and again, imitating when she could, the leaps and bounds, and each suspension lasted a different length of time.

Every chance Mary got the opportunity to try... she did. She used the levitation to practice maneuvers that she found difficult to do on the ground. Being in the air, made things effortless. She snuck into town after school, during her allotted 'play time' and watched those who studied at the Allegro Dance Theatre, imitating the movements when she got the chance to, in the privacy of her family's barn. Several times a week she'd go, watching with a passion inside of her, that her family would never truly comprehend. To be a ballerina was to seek glory – a thing that was more than frowned upon in her community.

This love for dancing, and her ability was a well kept secret for a long time, until she was in class... and one of her schoolmates (a boy named Adrian Lee), was holding her books too high for her to reach, thinking it cute the way she jumped up and down to get them. He'd planned on courting her when they both came of age, he himself just a year her senior.

> > > “Give them back, Adrian!” She jumped, once again... wrinkling her nose as she looked at him. “You're rotten, you know that?” Mary was just a girl after all, and one that wasn't so keen yet on boys. And as such, she hadn't really thought that he was teasing her because he liked her. Rather, she thought he was just being a difficult boy, one who reveled in making girls fall on their face (which she was so sure would happen if she continued to hop about as she was.)

She stamped against the ground, exasperated after the struggle between the two. If only she could reach...

And reach she did... but she didn't just lift herself, she lifted several desks, a book shelf... and the teacher as she tried to regain her possessions.

Adrian immediately dropped her books, eyes wide at the phenomenon going on around him. This little slip of a girl, obviously aggravated, had made things lift from the ground in a way they weren't supposed to. “Mary! Mary! Here's your stuff... let them down, okay?” This sort of thing wasn't supposed to happen; and when the teacher rose higher with her confusion, Adrian shook her until her powers broke, and everything went sailing into the ground. < < <

I could tell you what happened next, the screams of terror, the shot that rang out, about the teacher's injury... but it's really of no consequence to you, so I'll spare you of the details and go more onward to the point, the family's reaction actually something paramount.

It would be redundant to say they were displeased, even more so an understatement to say that they were irate. The girl, just shy of thirteen, was a shame to her family, and left Robert and Mary wondering why God had forsaken them with such an unholy child. She was left, dumped upon her sister's lap, Robert exclaiming that Hell's children belonged together.

Anna was ... happy to have her sister with her, no longer completely separated from her family. But living in the midst of New York, as barely more than a twenty-two year old made life hard for the pair. It was expensive; Anna worked two full-time jobs, and Aurelie (abandoning her first name completely, as it reminded her of her scathing mother) worked as an under the table janitor part-time in a dance studio. What money she had, she used to pay for her fare to lessons, working double the hours she should have, in attempt to keep up with the payments. She often used the time between her school work and her job to practice her ballet techniques, never once allowing herself to lift off the ground with her unnatural ability.

In between that time, before she was done cleaning the floors, Aurelie practiced in private, never giving up her passion for dancing. I'd like to give you the cliched, and one day a dance instructor saw her, and gave her a free ride to take classes at the dance studio. But no such breaks came. She worked, and saved, and paid for what lessons she could. The owner, however, did take pity on her, and offered to pay her with dance lessons after a while, seeing the true, natural talent she had. It wasn't exactly the easiest arrangement, because the work was tedious, and required long hours, but it got her a way in for the formal training she so desired.

One day Anna saw her practicing, saw the fluid motions and love in her sister's blue eyes one day when she aimed to surprise her, and pick her up from work so that she'd not have such a tiresome walk home. And with it, instilled the idea of Julliard to the girl, who hadn't thought herself good enough to go to a school for the Arts. They worked, nearly every spare moment, perfecting her technique, using videos and different styles every time.. It was the harder moves, like the split leap, and the ballons, and any sort of form that Anna made her sister start to use her hovering ability to learn exactly where to place herself in the air.

She watched tape upon tape of auditions, of what Julliard expected of its applicants. And encompassed every part of it unto herself. Aurelie took up piano, noting that they wanted multi-talented girls, and practiced on a piano in the basement of a local church. It was out of tune, but the more Aurelie felt for it, the better her skills became.

So many problems came with her power (such as waking up six feet above her bed, lifting objects without realizing it..), that eventually, Aurelie took it upon herself to find a tutor, to help her harness the ability... hearing of Xavier's Institution for the Gifted, she sought out a part time mentor; and one kindly obliged at some guy with shades' request. The lessons were four times a week, and took from her dancing, but over the course of the year, she was able to grasp a bit more control of the quality of where the objects went, and how to direct them, hold them and release the items she practiced with.

Jean, a red headed teacher was her teacher in this, herself a powerful telekinetic. And while Aurelie didn't have all the same abilities as her, the mentorship was a good fit, minus Jean's mood swings – A thing that Cyclops blamed on her hardships, and insisted that it wasn't Aurelie's fault. But, as her dancing got more involved, Aurelie had less time for the academy... and stopped going but once or twice a month upon her acceptance into her dream school, no longer having time to perfect her mutation.

Her ability, would be both the miracle, and the disaster when it came to her dream.

At fifteen, Aurelie considered herself ready for her first audition to Julliard, and after hours upon hours... sleepless nights, and endless rehearsing... she was accepted, with a scholarship to complete her education in the Pre-College Division of the school. For a time, Aurelie couldn't have asked for more.

Until, of course... she was caught using her ability. And she hadn't known; hadn't any worry as she danced, what would be her last recital... instead of an audition to remain at the school for college. As Aurelie poured her heart out into her performance, another student –hopeful as well of being accepted – was explaining to the president of the school that Aurelie wasn't what she seemed.

With a mutation, Julliard denied her and took away all credits and rewards she'd gotten as a ballerina.

No where else to go (too ashamed to return to Anna), Aurelie finished out her high school career at the academy, lost on what exactly she could do. She's been there, taking basic college courses (after having graduated at 17 there) for past two semesters, reluctant to touch her slippers, or uniform or much else until Emma put her on a student team – The Corsairs, with Scott. Slowly, Aurelie recovered from the shock, began to listen to music, began to play the piano..

And it wasn't until recently, that she began to dance. Upon that stride, Scott opted to have her put on one of the more used teams – believing it'd do her good. The colors aren't so much a change. (White to black; because I'd presume she'd be an alpha)

xxxxxxxxxxxxMarcel sort of comes from a troubled past. His father and mother were subjects to the monster Sinister and he was the only child that was born. He was hidden in secret so that Sinister wouldn't ever try to do anything with him such as conducting experiments. His father was a mutant with increased agility and teleportation, so this caused him to train Marcel at the age of 15 to start working on his own body physically and mentally to prepare him for the worst case scenarios he may or may not face in his life. He didn't know too much of his mother other than when he was three years of age. His father told him she went missing after that, but he presumed her to be a mutant as well seeing as Sinister had plans for her.

It was Marcel's eighteenth birthday when he started to discover his own abilities. He was able to manipulate water. His father already had saw signs that he developed them earlier such as when he was fourteen, he caused water in a glass cup to come out and lash out on the floor from him having an outrage towards his father. It was days shortly after that Sinister sent a mutant with hound-like abilities to sniff out Victor which allowed his pursuers and Sinister to track him to their hideout in Dallas. His father, sensing that Sinister was near, packed his son's clothing and gear, giving him a letter with everything detailed on what he was supposed to do, before he teleported him a few miles from the base near a subway.

Marcel refused to leave, wanting to fight back so they could at least live somewhat of a normal life. When his father realized that his son refsued, he knocked him out and teleported back to the hideout. Marcel was awakened to people screaming as he saw explosions and fire. He father tried his best to keep him hidden, but now Sinister's henchmen knew about his existence from an interrogater mindwiping his father. He got, grabbing his dufflebag and ran, trying to use the scenery of chaos to escape. He was later caught by the brute of the group as to which he struggled to get loose, resulting in him to scream and panic causing him to draw out water from his own body using enough of it to wrap it around the man's face, releasing him after a period of time. Marcel, unsure if he was dead or not, got up and fled once more. Now that getting to the location his father had sealed in the letter through the subway was out of question, he just wanted to get out of the area for the moment.

Marcel didn't stop until he was far from them or until he felt that no one was no longer pursuing him. He had fallen asleep on a bench until someone had touched him. He woke up and in a blind fit of rage, he shot pressurized water from a hydrant at a little girl who was being a little curious as well as being taken to school by her mother. Marcel tried to apologize but the woman only screamed calling him a freak. This resulted in FOH ( Friends of Humanity ) members to find him and start harassing him.

Marcel, wanting to be left alone once more mistakenly brought a massive wave of water towards everyone near him. Instead of running, he instead hid off in some alleyway. From there, he was discovered by the Academy, rescuing the male from any further and unseen dangers.

xxxxxxx▃▃ P e r s o n a l i t y ↓ ▃▃▃▃▃▃ ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

xxxxxxxxxxxxD i s p o s i t i o n → Marcel is usually an introvert, keeping to himself when he prefers it. He also keeps quiet unless his commentary is absolutely needed. Even there, he provides a usual witty and quirky commentm joking among others that he is able to come out of his shell to so to speak. The wild card to his personality lies with his unpredictability; he can go from absolutely quiet to full on troll filled with pranks if the situation meets the requirements.

xxxxxxxxxxxxL i k e s → Reading, Puzzles, Video Games, Music, Poetry and Hunting.

xxxxxxxxxxxxD i s l i k e s → Rude people, full on violence, pranks gone wrong and Snarky and otherwise crude people, humans especially

xxxxxxxxxxxxO t h e r →

xxxxxxx▃▃ M u t a t i o n: Hydrokinesis ↓ ▃▃▃▃▃▃ ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

xxxxxxxxxxxxD e f i n i t i o n → Marcel is able to absorb water, manipulate it and form it. He can draw water from faucets, hydrants, water vapors in the air, the ocean if he is near one, and from his own body. He probably could draw water from plants, but he isn't strong enough to do so at the moment.

xxxxxxxxxxxxS t r e n g t h s → Marcel is able to produce small form constructs developed during the Sentinel attack. Currently, he is only able to hold the form of anything larger as opposed to him being able to control large amounts of water as it takes little focus. As with water vapors, Marcel can partially draw water from steam as well.

xxxxxxxxxxxxW e a k n e s s e s → If Marcel drains water from his body, he will need to rehydrate. If Marcel is surrounded by water, he is more susceptible to being electrocuted as well as frozen due to him being unable to full on extract water from ice.

xxxxxxxxxxxxO t h e r → .

Name: Alexandra Marilène Agnès
Codename: Flairer

Academy X Student Team: Alpha

Age: 18
Birthday: July 25
Hair: Blond
Eyes: Blue Green
Skin Tone: Alabaster
Height: 5'4''
Weight: 116
Build: Thin
Race/Nationality: French
Noteable Characteristics: Around her wrists and elbows, the skin is a bit thinner. Thus, her veins are a lot more noticeable than most people's at those spots. Also, due to her sickly nature, her ribs can a bit noticeable when she doesn't have her shirt on.
Uniform: Black with blue accents
Standard Dress: She wears skirts that hang around her knees and t-shirts that are long enough to go over the top part of her skirt. Sometimes, she will wear sunhats on her head.

Place of Birth: Paris, France
Family: Adelene Agnes, 39, Living in Paris
Father Unknown
"And many others relatives I don't care to list"

Superhuman Ability: Sensory Adapation - She can alter her own senses to make them more enchanced than normal. *Side Note* - She can only enchance one sense at a time, for now, due to her mastery level

Strengths: She can hear a whisper as loudly as if the person was normally speaking. She can see fine details, and in the dark, a bit better than others. Her sense of smell is also good, allowing her to smell scents others may not notice or barely smell. Tastes are more strong to her. This allows her to tell what specific indergriants have been used in the food. Lastly, her sense of touch is enchanced to where she can feel subtle differences in texture that others may not notice.

Weakness: Her hearing and smell ability has a distance requirement. While her hearing and smell is better than most, she can't hear or smell things half across the base, or that are not in the same building as her. Also, sometimes, Alex will cringe at even the faintest whisper due to how loud it is to her. Her sight does allow her to see better in the dark, but it makes her more sensitive to light. What would normally be tolerated by the normal eye, Alex can't always tolerate it. Her smell and taste only is useful if she knows the scent of indergriant. If Alex doesn't, it is like someone doing a blind taste test. She needs to have experienced it before, and know what it is, before that part of her power is useful. Lastly, her sense of touch makes it hard to touch things hot or cold. While others may not feel a burning sensation at touching something, Alex will. Thus, she has a problem being able to touch hot or cold objects without wanting to immediately let the object go.

Abilities (not gained from mutation): She can play the flute well. This allows her a good ear for music, and good hand to eye cooridination. Also, she is good at coming up with pranks and being able to get under one's skin(When she wants to that is). It allows her to be quite the mischievious one. Alex is good at acting due to her time making up little practice plays to perform in front of the Agnes family staff. Lastly, she is fluenent in both French and English.

Non-mutant power skills: Music(Flute specifically) - Intermediate
Formal Etiquette - Master
Cooking - Beginner
Acting - Intermediate(If this is allowed)
Poetry - Intermediate(If this is allowed)

Power Levels:

Physical Strength (1-10): 2
Speed (1-10): 3
Durability (1-10): 3
Intelligence (1-10): 4
Energy (1-10): 5
Agility (1-10): 3
Power Mastery (1-20): 7

Personal Strengths: She is a patient person who can wait to get what she wants. Also, Alex is a planner. No one can say her pranks and devious teasing aren't elaborate. When Alex wants something, she is determined and a hard-worker. She is a social person and easy to talk to...most of the time. When need be, Alex can be well-mannered and polite to a fault.

Personal Weaknesses: If she doesn't want to do something, Alex intends to be lazy and procastinate. When a plan doesn't go her way, Alex becomes upset and angry at people. She takes out her anger on anyone and anything. The girl can be emotional and has a lack of self-control over her emotions. Thus, it can't be said that Alex doesn't know how to express herself.

Personality: Alex has been described as a little pixie, a mischievious and all around devious girl. However, she doesn't show this side all the time. Normally, she acts like a sweet innocent girl with a hint of naiveity. But, that is just her way of getting you to trust her and her to find your weakness. This way, Alex can find ways to get under your skin and pester you to death. Though, as the old saying goes, she doesn't do this to just everyone. She does it to people she likes. Thus, if you get pranked, this means Alex has grown a liking to you. If she doesnt like you, or feels nothing towards you, Alex will either act a bit cold or act like her innocent self. Other than these traits, Alex is pretty much the girl next door and a normal teenage girl with all the social skill to boot.

Hobbies: Playing the Flute, Playing Pranks on people, Messing with people, Talking to people, Teasing people, Writing poetry, Cooking, Trying new things, and Acting.

Mutant/Human Relations View: "Mutant or Non-mutant. It doesn't matter to me. As long as they are prankable, I'm good. But I do admit...Non-mutants are a bit more fun. After all, you never have to worry about them coming back at you with a stronger power than your own."

History: "I write to you this letter in hopes that I can come to your Academy. Even though I do not like this, my future depends on whether or not I get in. But, I shall not leave you clueless or wondering why I write such things. I just hope you do not mind this story being a bit long. However, I feel in order to fully understand my issue, you must know all that lead up to this current situation.

I was born to Adelene Agnes on July 25 of many years ago. Even though I was product of rape, my mother felt absolute love and adoration towards me. Her first child. Her baby girl. I knew the reason for my conception would allow me to never know my father, since he never was caught. But, that is a matter of the past, and there is no reason this letter needs to linger on that fact.

The Agnes family are considered a well off family in Paris. We are not the richest, but we are defintely not considered middle class either. But, like all ambitious families are, they aimed for higher. They wanted to become one of the richest families in all of Paris. Thus, their hopes lied in me. I was trained since I could remember on formal etiquette and all the ways the heiress to the Agnes fortune should act. However, there was not without difficulty in this task. For you see, I was born with a weak immune system. Thus, I caught every single bug that came around, and the bugs always seemed to effect me in the worst possibe way.

For this reason, I was never allowed to go to public school, or even a boarding school. I had been tutored my whole life from some of the finest tutors. However, like all children, I didn't like the idea of being locked inside due to my sickness and the fragility of my body. But, I knew my mother was smart. She would not allow me outside so easily. Thus, I found a new way to take out my pent up energy. Pranks. Yes, pranks.

I found such amusement in watching people go through such devious little tricks. Sometimes, they got angry. Other times, they laughed it off and congulated me on a job well done. It put the stuff I learned in tutoring to good use. Though, like all mothers, my mother didn't like this hobby of mine. Thus, she forced me into Music and Writing lessons. It was soon learned I had a natural talent for music. My sensitive hearing could tell the differences in pitch much easier than most. However, I wasn't allowed to tell the tutor about my hearing. But because of this, I found myself enjoying the playing of the flute and the writing of poetry. I even found myself enjoying the fun of acting.

With this new found love of the three, my younger self would try to put on performances for the staff that worked there. For some reason, they found it cute and wonderful that the heiress would enterain them in such a way. Thus, I made sure to do it often, increasing my love and skills in those three areas.

As I grew into my teenage years though, I found myself wondering why I had sensitive senses. The doctors never could figure out why my eye sight was higher than 20/20, or why my hearing was so sensitive. Sometimes, they thought it was due to my sickness. But, I knew that made no sense. However, I wondered if my mother knew, considering she never allowed the doctors, or me, to tell the anyone about my sensitive senses. As the old saying goes, the beans were about to split out of the bag on my sixteenth birthday.

On my sixteenth birthday, I had gone to see the Agnes family doctor like normal. My mother was there as well. As they did their normal tests on me, which included the sensory tests, someone was watching us. It happened to be my mother's sister. The woman had always been jealous that I got to be the heir, instead of her son. Thus, when she was able to put two and two together. she told the rest of the family about my ability. I would not realize this until the next morning.

When I woke up the next morning, I knew something was wrong. None of the staff were in my room like they normally would be at 8 in the morning. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. The light seemed annoying as usual. I assumed the staff had forgotten that I needed the lights dimmed when I first got up. Then, I started to hear voices in the hallway. With quiet footsteps, I made my way towards the door and placed my ear on the door.

I could hear cleary my family arguing about what they were going to do with me. Some wanted me disowned, while others just wanted to send me off. My mother just wanted them to leave me alone and stop treating me like I was some creature. I didn't understand what was going on until one of them called me a mutant. A mutant? I had heard of such beings from the staff. They were humans with special abiliites normal humans didn't have. Immediately, I felt dumb for not making the connection between my senses and mutants. But now, I realized why they wanted me out, and that made me feel a bit rejected.

Eventually, my family finally came to the decision to send me off somewhere, while still allowing me to be the heiress to the fortune. I know for sure that those that want me disowned will find every possible way to get me out of the family. Thus, the longer I stay here, the more possible ammuniation they will have to disown me. I don't want to have my mother could go through pain she does not deserve. She does not need to lose me over something as silly as this.

Thus, this is why I request to join your Academy. I have heard you are able to train people like me to better use their powers. Well, since I have a choice as to where I'm being sent off to, I would whether it be a place I can find more out about my powers than some random place in the middle of nowhere.

If you won't take people that you don't believe can take care of yourselves, I shall let you know I am learning how to cook. I am not the best yet, but I will prove myself useful to you all. Whether it be through my power, or through natural human ability, I will not disappoint you. You will not ever regret letting me into the Academy. I will make sure of that."

xxxxxxxxxxxx Katerina Force does not remember much of her early child hood…Just scraps of things, that come to her when she least expects it. At the age of three she was forcibly removed from the care of her birth parents, by the terrorist organization HYDRA. She was told when she was old enough to ask questions that they’d been poor. Too poor a family to pay their debts, or to put food on the table. Her caretakers and the leaders of HYDRA explained that because of this, they’d freely given her up, when the Viper, Madame Hydra, offered her a better life. As the woman is a legal citizen of Italy, and holds many connections with officials capable of drawing up the correct paperwork… She is listed as the legal guardian of Katerina Aria Force.

Katerina was sent by Ophelia Sarkissian to the underwater headquarters of HYDRA, called Ichor. And there she stayed for several years…She was schooled intensely, and trained to be a femme fatal assassin. She was taught to speak both English, and Italian. She proved to excel in espionage and infiltration, picking up quickly on certain queue’s and facial expressions in her victims that allowed her to get closer, to accomplish her mission parameters. HYDRA scientists and personnel were very strict on her upbringing. For failure, she was punished severely…Either by beatings, or starvation. Occasionally, even poisoned, in which she would retch for days—And black out for longer.

Obedience was the only way to survive.

On the other hand, for her successes, she was gifted with that which she wanted most… Freedom, or the illusion of it. She had escorted trips to the surface, where she was allowed to enjoy the salt water air. Even more rare, was she allowed trips to the mainland, outside of sanctioned assignments.

At the age of ten, her mutation appeared. It was slow…. She would find herself mirroring her instructors when afraid and trying to hide it. Because fear certainly wasn’t allowed…Hydra was the only ‘family’ she’d ever known, outside of a man and woman she could just barely recall. The instructors praised the changes, and encouraged her to practice as often as possible. She did as told; changing her form into others slowly—But eventually it happened, without flaw.

Her ability was new, and strange to her. She knew the whispers of other mutants from the surface… And the excited whispers she heard from her instructors bothered her. It wasn’t until Madame Hydra herself paid her a visit that things truly changed. Katerina was an echo of the talented Madam, their answer to the widely known shape shifter Mystique. This wasn’t the first time that she’d seen her legal guardian, who often had a hand in her studies… But this time was different.

It was decided that she would learn how to shift… And shift quickly. That if she could learn to become other humans…Perhaps she could take the form of other creatures as well. And if she didn’t learn quickly…Her instructors were to motivate her, by any means possible. Madame Hydra explained briefly, cruelly, that she had many enemies in the world… And that if something happened to her, she needed another suited to her needs to carry on her work. She would not tolerate failure.

And that person, would be Katerina.

And so she was forced to advance her powers, before it was truly time. When she started, her shifting could take an hour to complete… The Madam wanted it done in moments. After a time, if she took over a half hour to make a complete transition—Something they required she do nude, to make sure that the transition was exact…They beat her, repeatedly. They would keep her awake, for nights on end, until she lost the fight to exhaustion—If they didn’t knock her out first.

While her failures before were few…It became common. Forcing a mutation to mature unless chemically advanced by some kind of science generally doesn’t work as well as one would hope… It took years to better herself…And years after that to be able to shift into other creatures. She learned over the years not to cry, unless there was no one to see—And not to show fear, ever. Fear, only made the beatings worse. There was no laughter in her life… There was nothing to comfort her.

When a Skrull attack came to the underwater base, she was sixteen. She was removed from the premises at the whisper of it and was kept a gilded prisoner in one of the many Chateau’s in Rome that her guardian owned. There she continued her training, as well as her schooling under the tutelage of the ever traveling Madame Hydra, who had come to believe that Katerina could be trusted. And for the most part, it was true.

Madame Hydra had taken her in from the cold, from parents who didn’t want her—Couldn’t afford her. Her ways were cruel…But she’d been taught that the world was moreso. She started being sent on more important missions…Impersonating the wife of a diplomat, or the dog of a wealthy glitterati that owed the Viper…Gaining their trust, gaining information… And if instructed, eliminating the target.

Katerina takes little pleasure in things such as death and mayhem…Despite her upbringing, there is too much mercy within her for the life of an assassin. Full plans are rarely shared with her…So she doesn’t understand, why targets need to be done away with… All she understands, or hears, are their pleas to live…If they are unlucky enough to see her coming. But the empty, cold soldier that was beat into her, trained into her, without pity holds her true and strong to HYDRA.

Curious about her family, as an orphaned teenager would be, she started asking more questions… And finding that she was always given the same story…The same line, that always left her feeling hollow. As if there was something she wasn’t being told. So she set about to verify the facts. At nearly eighteen, she wasn’t a prisoner in Rome... But someone that was obeyed, the head of house when the Madam was away. Woe, be to anyone who displeased her-—Lest the Madam catch wind of it. Weeks of waiting, listening, and literally being the fly on the wall paid off as she discovered the passwords to the terminal that she believed, held all employee records. Taking the form of the clerk that usually dealt with such things, she pretended to burn the midnight oil… When it reality she was secretly digging up her past.

She learned then, that sometimes…She preferred lies, over the truth.

Her file had been easy enough to find…Nothing that a remote scrambler couldn’t decode… And what she found there, disturbed her. It listed her biological parents as being marks, because her American born father was a geneticist who refused to work for them. They’d both been…Brutally, brutally killed… She’d not at all been willingly given up, as she’d been told all her life…But unlawfully taken, by Madame Hydra. She had been the only thing, which they hadn’t burned to the ground upon vandalizing family home in Rome…Making it look like a robbery.

At first, she could scarcely believe it…But it was well documented. Written coldly…Carelessly… As if someone had been writing a grocery list. It was just a field report, from an operative she’d never heard of. Never met.

Why had they kept her alive? Why hadn’t they killed her? They’d lied—Taken everything from her.

Furious and betrayed…She vowed to escape… And persecute the agent that had murdered her family… And destroy the HYDRA Superior that had ordered it.

She didn’t realize at the time, that her unsecured entrance to her own file tripped an alarm within the system. She hadn’t just stopped with her own file…But did more digging, into the wee hours of the morning…She’d read about past projects, and current projects that HYDRA had in the works…Some... She’d heard of. Others appalled even her… And considering the nature of her own missions… They were beyond disturbing.

But what caught her eye most of all, was a file on a Project, a Weapon, X-20. He’d managed to escape, much to the displeasure of the upper level officers. The last time he’d been sighted was at the Xavier Institute in America a year or two ago… But after that his whereabouts were unknown..

It gave her hope. If he could escape the grasp of HYDRA…So could she.

She made her plans to ‘resign’ after her next assignment.

Her next mission never came. Madame Hydra had been electronically alerted that her file had been accessed by unauthorized personnel the moment it happened. So Ophelia Sarkissian returned home to confront her charge. And by confront, her quarters were gassed and the girl was implanted with a micro-explosive, just under the skin on the back of her neck.

When Katerina awoke, it was to the sight of the ever composed—Yet royally angry Madame Hydra. The woman raged, on and on—About how she had given her everything… And this insubordination was how she repaid her. She was given no choice…No time to speak. Only warned, that this intervention was for her own good...That if she… Stepped out of bounds… Or diverted from mission parameters with any brilliant ideas… That she would find most of her head missing.

HYDRA does not tolerate desertion.

So Katerina remained trapped. She felt eyes upon her at all times. The threat of the chip in her neck was no lie… She could feel it, implanted there. Weeks later, she spent most of her time in a feline form… Periodically she would shift back to herself, and then back to that of a feline… But it was a particularly warm day, and she fell asleep in the form of a large panther. Only to wake around nightfall.. Still in the form of the cat. She shifted out quickly, and was displeased to find that she couldn’t fully return to her human form. All of her had returned…Except for her teeth, and her nails, that remained long and thick—Wickedly sharp and curved.

It occurred to her, as she sat in the grass of the courtyard… That perhaps the chip could be removed…It was the only thing that kept her present, in this cult—This institution of madness. Reaching behind her neck with her clawed hands…She winced, as she thought of what she was doing. Would the chip explode, if she dug it out? Would it alert her wardens? An hours long debate told her that she couldn’t care either way.. She couldn’t serve those that had coldly murdered a family, and stolen their child. That had done…Countless other things, so many awful things, that there was a certain circle in hell reserved for them.

There was one reserved for her, she was sure, for the things she’d done.

Grinding her teeth together, she dug out the chip…She did it quickly, as one would remove a band-aid. It came free…Her hand coated in blood—Her neck in pain…But the sweetness of freedom soothed it. She wasted no time…Not a stop back to her quarters…Nothing. The chip had a blinking green light…Also a tracker. So long as the chip remained, they would think her in the garden. Sleeping. It would be too dark to tell otherwise till the morning…

So she shifted. Into something small. A bird that could see decently enough at night. For some reason, if she wished it—Tight clothing did shift with her, and she always wore some kind of exercise gear. Ballet flats worked best for shoes… Katerina disappeared without a trace. She bled her accounts dry and set for the first plane to America.

X-20 found help, assistance at the Xavier Institute. Perhaps, she could do the same.

xxxxxxxxxxxxD i s p o s i t i o n → Very matter of fact. She can also be very opinionated… She can either be your best friend, or worst enemy.

Personal Strengths: She is very self-sufficient, and tends to try and follow her own instincts—Wherever they may lead.

Personal Weaknesses: She can also be very stubborn, and forgets that she isn’t her own island…She needs people, human interaction. Her past has desensitized her to many things, though it leaves her raw to many others…

xxxxxxxxxxxxL i k e s → Video games. She was never allowed to play anything of that sort in captivity… And it is a new thing for her. She likes that first person shooters test her reflexes. Enjoys going outside, going to the mall, park, or the movies, just to experience normal things that teenagers do. Also spends time in a preferred animal form, people watching.

xxxxxxx▃▃ M u t a t i o n: Shape-shifting ↓ ▃▃▃▃▃▃ ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

xxxxxxxxxxxxD e f i n i t i o n → Katerina has the ability to shape shift into other living creatures, human and animal. It is easiest for her to take the form of other humans, because their physiology is closest to her own. It takes more concentration to become other creatures—Especially creatures that are much larger or smaller than herself. Should she remain in another form for too long, it will become more difficult for her to shift back… Occasionally, it will take her time to shift back completely.

When she shifts to an animal, she can feel the animal mind and instincts underneath her own. She can’t block it from her, but instead uses it to understand the animal she has become. While in animal form, she cannot communicate as a human—She could growl, or hiss, or snap at someone…But she truly does become the animal. She can only speak as they naturally do. She cannot become non-living objects, such as a rock or a tree.

He is willing to follow orders without question no matter what they are as long as it does not require him to compromise his own life. He is not above having friends. History: Felix was born in Paradise Falls a somewhat large town in Michigan where unbeknownst to him his father served as both the leader of the gang that basically ran the town and it's mayor. He grew up a rather normal life with his mother passing away at a young age leaving him and his father alone. His father had little to do with him leaving him to be raised by the family maid. Going into school most of the kids avoided him at the urging of their parents because of who his father was. He tended to get grades he didn't really earn just as a way for the teachers to keep his father happy. There were people coming up missing all the time that the local police did nothing to try and determine why. Everybody secretly knew what had happened to them. Nobody was willing to speak up about it however for fear of the same happening to them. His father's gang dealt in all kinds of illegal activities that ranged from drugs to slavery. Still Felix remained completely unaware of everything.

When he got old enough to begin to understand what was going on around him his father and the other gang members he was around made him think it was all alright. They made him think they were the good guys in this all. Especially when the police force finally got a chief that was not willing to compromise his beliefs. A war began to rage between the police and his father and his followers. When election came his father was not reelected which was the first big change in Felix's lifestyle. Then his mutation surfaced. Immediately his father saw the potential it carried and decided to let Felix 'help him against the villains'. Only about 14 Felix jumped at this chance still thinking his father was doing good. Teaching his son the basics of the lifestyle he mainly used him for disposing of evidence quickly. A few years went by like this and slowly Felix began to question if his father was really the bad guy. After all he began to learn more of what his father was doing and it just seemed wrong.

Still his father insisted that he had the town's best interest at heart and that the things he was doing was 'a necessary evil'. Instantly seeing the wisdom in his father's words he wasn't aware that was his father's ability. That was when he began to have blackouts whenever his father sat him down for a 'little talk'. Then his father decided it was time to kill the police chief and after one failed attempt decided who better to do so then Felix who could kill him and leave before the chief was ever even aware there was someone there. After about an hour of 'convincing' Felix was told where he would be and at what time and he went and did the deed. Afterwards looking down at the body Felix was very aware of how wrong it was and what he had just done. Distraught he was aware of what his father was doing to him every time he disagreed with him. His father was just using him to do his dirty work using his ability to hypnotize him.

Leaving the scene Felix returned to his father angry and told his father he was done listening to him. Calmly as if he had been expecting this there was a man in the room that Felix didn't see at first. His father explained that he would 'take away the pain and guilt' then without warning his head was seized in the man's hand and Felix blacked out again. This time however something went wrong in the process and not everything was erased. It didn't take long for him to figure out the cause of his black outs. And soon he began to wonder exactly what else he had done that this man had just made him forget. Then he heard a rumor going around concerning his mother's death and it implicated his father in the rumor. Finding the man who had erased his memories Felix confronted him in the privacy of his home. Demanding to know what else he had been made to forget the man reluctantly revealed that he could bring it all back. Felix hesitantly accepted letting the man 'touch' his memories again.

True to his word the man brought everything back. Feeling the full weight of the things he had done Felix had to sit down and sort through things he had done. The man apologized for doing what he had done to him explaining that he had no choice in helping his father because he threatened his family in exchange for service. Felix decided to help the man disappear and after getting into his father's safe stole more than enough money for them to disappear. Afterward he took a little more time sorting through the newly re-implanted memories and realized he had walked in on his father standing over his mother's body. Confronting his father about the memories his father was caught off guard and attempted to use his ability on his son yet again only to fail. Felix was done letting his father control him and sway him with words. Assaulting his father and knocking him down he felt the anger well up inside himself. Continuing to hit him his father eventually confessed to killing his mother.

His father explained that he couldn't very well have his wife questioning him in front of his followers. At the peak of his anger by now Felix considered killing his father for using him the way he had been and disposing of his mother as if she was trash. Continuing the assault until his father was just barely hanging on Felix suddenly heard a voice in his head. The voice introducing himself as Xavier explained that he was better than this. Felix insisted he wasn't that this was who he was. After all look at the things he had done over the years. His soul had already been tainted. There was no going back. He was already damned so why stop now? After a little more talking Felix felt his anger begin to recede. Giving his mother as reason enough to go through with it the man asked a question he did not think of before. Would his mother want him to do this? Finding it hard to remember her in detail the one thing he remembered the most was her kindness.

Slowly letting go of his father Felix sighed. The man offered to show him a better way and to just give this other life a chance. His father would be waiting anyway right? Finally deciding that he would listen to the man he brought his father to the hospital and left him laying in the emergency room lobby floor. Going back to his house he was greeted by a man named Cyclops who after an introduction offered him transportation to this school he was a headmaster at. Agreeing to go to escape the life he had been thrust into by his father Felix left with him. Upon arrival however he found himself hesitant to go into this life finding the idea of using his powers to help people a foreign concept. Still he did something right as after a little while he found himself on one of the junior teams. Granted he honestly didn't really care that much. It just seemed like another kind of gang to him. He wasn't sure if this was the life for him either. Thankfully his father would still be waiting when he left. After all he had not been swayed from a desire for revenge.
