Brenda frowned at the knowledge given to her by Tim. The League was missing... Well, not her League, but still. She did not hear the conversation between d**k and Starfire, and this was just as well, because if she did, she'd have raged. This d**k might not have been her husband, but this had yet to truly set in for her. She looked Crystal and Arell over, and gave a small smile to the catgirl. "Nice to meet you, and you're not exactly hard on the eyes yourself, sweetie," she said casually. It wasn't a flirtation, since she was technically taken and wanted it to stay that way; it was more of an acknowledgment that Crystal was in fact rather pretty.
The scent Brenda was giving off was mostly masked by perfume, but if Crystal concentrated, she'd be able to detect the familiar scent of Bruce Wayne, albeit with estrogen hormones instead of testosterone.
d**k gave a shaky sigh. "You-- You've been in Gotham?" Well... where are you now?" he asked her shakily.

"As I has told Crystal, I am in the New York. Where are you? I can fly there," Starfire suggested with hope in her voice.

Artemis wasn't concerned with Brenda, but was more worried about Kai as he walked back up the stairs, normally. No fourth wall hopping to get to something in a hurry.
He walked in to find her trying to get up and he hurried over to her. "My dear, you should let me help you. You don't seem to completely have the strength for moving yet." He placed an arm around her and moved her arm around his shoulders for support.
"If I may ask, what ales you?"
((I had completely forgot about Artie XD))
Crystal giggled and blushed and looked back at Arell as he caught up. "Well, Brenda, I'm Catgirl or, seeming Tim's willing to have the Robin tunic showing, Crystal Lasill. And this big galooka, "she motioned towards Arell, "is Arell,"
She smiled up at him and leaned on his side.

Bruce looked over right as Damian screamed 'Father' and braced for the impending impact, grabbing the boy. "Well, someone surely missed me." He spoke as if the Bruce Identity were more natural, than a facade as he patted his 'son' on the back.
He picked up Damian's chin and looked him over. "You've grown some. Let's get inside, Alfred should have dinner waiting for us."

Very quietly walking up to the secret door that was the grandfather clock, Jinx heard faint traces of different conversations. "What the heck is going on up there? Jinx's face showed obvious confusion. On the other side of the clock in the darkness, Jinx carefully listened in....

Jack's voice carried up the stairs easily to Jinx. "By the way, if you want to make sure no one can see you getting your clothes, you might want to check the security videos on the Bat Computer." She could just hear the stupid grin on his face.

Tim scratched at the back of his neck and knelt down to pick up his jacket that was on the floor. His brain was still milling through the odds, and suspicion set in. These thoughts were definitely not obvious or plastered on his face, but they were definitely there.... an air of caution, one could say. Robin pulled on the jacket, letting the clothing cover most of his red kevlar.

Damian looked up to his father and nodded a bit. He wanted to say just how happy he was that Bruce was back, but he wouldn't say that. His father might not have approved, anyway, and-- Wait a minute.
"Father, are you feeling alright?" he asked, looking up and pulling down his hood. "It's not dinnertime yet. Then again... I swear I saw the moon out a few hours ago, at around 7 AM..."
He shook his head. "Time is so screwed up..." he muttered, before opening the front door. "Grayson! Grayson, look!" he called, and he sounded truly happy to d**k for the first time in... forever.
d**k, for his part, looked at Damian and Bruce... and he gaped. "Bruce?!" he yelped, and this could be heard in the back room where most of the others were. He said into the phone: "Kori, I'm sorry, but I've gotta go. I'll call you back ASAP, I promise!" he said, hanging the phone up and nearly dropping it as he hurried over to his adoptive father and gave him a big hug.
Brenda's eyes snapped forward, toward the open door and at the shouting of d**k. Their Bruce has showed up?! she asked herself, and a million more questions ran through her mind. What would they do when they met her, how this Bruce would react to her presence (as she remembered how she used to act, she decided he wouldn't outwardly react at all), and whether they'd even accept her anyways as being a former Bruce Wayne. She didn't move, but she tensed up, ready to leave the room with the kind of suddenness that only a Bruce Wayne (or a former Bruce Wayne in her case) could do.

Crystal spun around on the spot and, before anyone could realize it, she was gone in a proverbial puff of smoke.
She ran right into the main hall and made a charge for Bruce and d**k, tackling them both. "OH MY GODDESS!!! Where have you been? Do you realize what's happened with out you here? Evil has overrun your poor city!" She was purring loudly out of sheer joy.

This caught Tim's immediate attention. Bruce? What? Okay. He had to see this.
Tim was one of the first out of the back room as he practically sprinted down the hallways of the Wayne mansion, skidding into sight of the main doors. Tim still had his doubts, and they were nagging at him. He wanted these skeptic thoughts to go away, but they wouldn't leave him be. None the less, when he saw the people before him...
"Bruce??"
Okay, this name had echoed into the house several times over the course of the last minute, so it was most likely the people upstairs had heard as well. Tim couldn't help but bowl into the already-formed group bat-pile.

Jinx's left eye twitched as her gaze slowly looked down below. Pink energy flared in those catlike orbs, as the goth Titan drew a Batarang and infused it with her Bad Luck Hexes. With an evil smile, Jinx launched the weapon down the shaft at her would-be heckler.

Bruce scratched his head, looking to the sky and then to his watch. "I could of sworn it was just dusk..." He shrugged and followed Damian inside, only to get a big hug from d**k.
He chuckled, happy to see them as well. "How have you been D--"
Bruce hadn't been expecting to be blind sided by yet another person and actually went tumbling onto the floor. "Ok. Ok. I've missed everyone too." He leaned back and sighed, not an upset sigh, more of a 'it's good to be back' sigh.
It wasn't long till Tim had joined the dog pile and this just made him laugh slightly. Everyone was so glad to see him. He hadn't remembered this warm feeling before. It felt like... Home.... The word resounded in his head.

Kai heard Bruce's name called and despite her lack of weakness and energy welled inside her with an eagerness to see her mentor whom she hadn't seen in a long while. She put her communicator back onto her belt and threw it on her shoulder with her free hand before she took hold of Artemis' shoulder for support. She used the help of Artemis to stand up and prepare to leave to see if the real Bruce was indeed there.
"Thanks, for the help, I need to go see what this yelling is about. Let's go downstairs shall we?"
With the help of Artemis they headed downstairs and there he was, definitely in a pile of people. Oh how Bruce would be upset, if it were the wrong night. When she saw him though the thought occurred to her... "Was this the Bruce she knew? Or just another person, from some world, that would never once look back and remember one thing about her." She sighed and walked up a small smile on her face at seeing him in any case. Kai wouldn't join the pile, being that she was still kinda weak from the venom that her uncle Kane had used on Dundee.
"Hey Bruce... It's, um, Red Cardinal."
She waited for him to reply her name, her real name. If he knew it at all "It's Kai. Bruce, if you're my mentor, the Bruce I know." Hopes in the thought of finding more than just Garfield from her world, and a little of Grayson laced her inner most voices.

Damian squirmed in the hug. "Drake... Is you hand on my--?!" he demanded angrily, while d**k was too overjoyed by the return of his adoptive father to really cry out after being tackled by Crystal and Tim both. He did look to Kai, however, and beamed at her. Poor Abby had seen all of this and honestly didn't have any idea what to think as she watched the pileup.
Brenda, curiosity getting the better of her, moved out of the room, silent on her bare feet, and hung back well away from the hug. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be noticed, but seeing this display of familial love... It made her wish that she had taken more than her Richard as an apprentice. And now... she didn't even have him. She felt so... alone. As alone as she had been on the night her parents had died, and for years afterward.
She closed her eyes, forcing these unpleasant thoughts away, and abruptly turned away and headed back to the room she had been in before. She... she didn't need to ruin this moment of happiness. And she was beginning to wonder why she was even here to begin with. The last thing she remembered prior to being sent here was walking toward the front door of the Manor... and then a flash of orange light occurred, and she was in the back. And now all of this...
Why was she even here?

Even in this great moment, Damian had found a way to get Tim to glare at him.
"No."
Jeez, what a little...
Tim was however distracted from these thoughts as Artemis and Kai appeared. Kai........ did this 'Bruce' know her? That was the big question, since most people he familiarized with in the squished-together verse didn't know her at all.
