So many cards to choose from! This was hard.
Danny winked at Roch and Moure and said, "I have the best hand ever. Sorry guys, I really didn't mean to win so hard."
Lying through her teeth.
Danny noticed the undead dragon thingy at the end of the table. He smelled ... damp. Danny shuddered and looked away.
Welp, this was her last game of poker, so she might as well go big or go home. She layed down her king, queen and four on the table. Yaaaay poker.

Moure looked at his cards, a neutral expression on his face. His hand could be worse, but it could've been better. At least he had a pair. Hopefully he could work with that. Unless he could magically switch out one ten, the four, and the five for a jack, a nine, and a seven, he wasn't getting a straight. Hmmm...
Best option would just be to go for a pair, or hope for maybe three of a kind, maybe two pairs... He's probably just be stuck with his two tens. Ahh well. Moure discarded his eight, four, and five, and just hoped to pull up something better than those three.

Junko was not worried in the slightest by Danny's claim, rolling her eyes and smiling. "We'll just see about that~." She was damn confident she had the best hand.
Kings. Kings. No stupid queens.
A king dealt by a king, even! That made it even better!

Riley looked.. impressed. Both her eyebrows were lifted as she handed out the new cards, and stared at everyone's hands. That's.. something special. I haven't seen this many good hands in.. Cam toddled out of the ghouls bathroom, pulling it's tiny pants up and looking rather smug. There was water leaking out of the room already.. Moure has a pair of tens! Danny has a pair of threes! Jericho has two pair! Jacks and Queens! Junko has two pair! Kings and eights! Merope has a pair of sixes! Roch has a Flush! Roch wins! 10 poker chips!Ahh.. I can't bear to see you all leave the table with nothing. Riley murmured, offering a chip to each of the players who did not win. That was a very exciting game.

"YEAH!" Roch said, jumping to his feet, then promptly sitting down again cuz--well, this was Riley. "Dude that's awesome! Thank you!!" he said, taking his chips happily. He looked as if he would start jumping up and down in joy any moment.

STUPID ROCH. STUPID. ROCH. ROCH WAS STUPID. STUPID ROCH.
Danny grumped angrily. "Auuuugh stupid Roch!" Could she say it any more times?
She thanked Riley for the chip and added it to her pile. "Well I still have more chips that you. And I'll get even more!"
Like a little kid trying to win a race, she ran over to the slot machines and yanked the lever.
Nothing came out.

BUT THAT WAS OKAY.
She was definitely going to defeat Roch and all his stupidity. Definitely.
She pulled the lever again.
Two tokens came out! Yup, she definitely was going to beat him. Obviously. Little did she know Roch had almost 60 tokens now.

A...a flush. A flush. How did...how did Roch...her pair of kings! And eights! Though apparently Jericho would have beat her anyway. A flush. She'd lost. There was only one face that could describe how Junko felt just then. She was marginally appeased by the chip she was given, accepting it quite graciously. It was better than no chips at all! And she had won at least one game. It was nothing compared to the roulette wheel. "Thank you, Riley!"

HAHAHAHAHA. Nothing could stop her on her quest for token domination.
Defeating Roch was only a small step in the plan! Soon she would have one token to rule them all.
Danny pulled the lever with a new ferocity.
Two more tokens. This plan was going splendidly.

Maybe Roch was just lucky. No, he had definitely planned that.
How could you not plan that win? It was just too ... cheater-y.
When Danny had all the tokens, she would expose his liar-y-ness.
Yes she did just make up two words. While pulling the lever.
Only this time nothing came out. Jackdammit.

Merope stared at his hands as if they would magically shapeshift before his eyes. The cards stubbornly remained the same. It wasn't until Roch jumped up that the undead boil realize the game was over. He folded the cards, pushing them towards Riley before standing up, picking up the poker chip as he did so.
His hands were crammed into his pockets as he turned and walked away, his talons scraping against the ground as if there was something to kick. So much for his rotten luck tonight.
The jangling of the slot machines caught his attention, forcing him to stop and stare. A flutter of hope overcame him. Maybe his luck wasn't too bad, maybe he could turn it around! Maybe --
His hope sputtered and died as the flame demoness ran over to the slots. Merope grimaced, fins pressing close to his back as he slumped off elsewhere.

Danny saw Merope out of the corner of her eye. That's right water boil. Run awayyyyy.
Honestly though, Danny was too focused on playing the slots to care about if an undead boil came over to play. Even if he was damp.
Danny pulled the lever again.
Nothing.

Well apparently the slots weren't working out too well for her.
Then again, if she wanted to defeat Roch, she would have to go all out in this battle!
Danny spun the wheel in a greedy way. She wanted them tokens.
Nothing came out though! These games must've been broken.

Danny spun again.
Yeah, that's all there is to it.
Still no tokens came out. She was THIS close to just burning this whole game place down.

But alas, no games meant no tokens.
So she sighed and spun again. Her hope was beginning to dwindle.
Surely Roch couldn't win this battle?
A single lone token popped out of the machine. It was better than nothing!
