There doesn't seem to be much of a trace of what was previously there. there are no longer any fleeting shadows, either in front of or behind you.

As you press on, all seems quiet. Too quiet. The tunnel winds and twists for a bit and the tension becomes palpable in the air. Suddenly, the walls start to shift as two mechanical, insectoid creatures walk out from the walls, one in front of the group, and one behind. However, thanks to your alertness and caution, they don't catch you off guard. Currently, they just got out of the walls, and almost seem shocked that you saw them coming.They clack their mechanical mandibles together menacingly and their glowing red eyes trained on you.

seeing the creatures appear, I get myself ready for them to attack by preparing a wind spell in case I need to push them back.

I load my rifle, and fire at the one that came out from behind our group, aiming for its head.

He quickly turns both his arms into katanas and gets in a more defensive stance, unsure of what these things can do, facing the one that was in the front of the group,"Well, it couldn't be easy could it?"he asked sarcastically.
