In a sunbaked side street, a Male Ryn sat with his back against the wall of a building. In his hands was a Double Viol, a stringed intrument consisting of two hollow boxes connected by a shaft over wich the strings were placed. The Ryn played upon the Double Viol, accompanying his preformance with his beak which he played as a flute. Before the musical alien was an old hat upon which the ocasional passerby would drop some hard currency into if they felt sorry for the gypsy like Ryn or if they enjoyed his skillful playing. As the Ryn played on, a Short skinny outlaw in an old flight jacket and shades took up a seat next to him. For a few moments neither spoke as the Ryn's tune slowly came to an end. When He was done, the Outlaw spoke to the Ryn in a basterdized tongue composed of many different alien languages, a tongue known as Trader's Argot. The Ryn responded in a bass voice.
The Ryn twirled one end of his long white mustachioes and chuckled.
Said the Outlaw. He Reached into his jacket and drew out a flask. He undid the top and took a sip before offering the Ryn a taste. The Ryn arched a snowy eyebrow and took the flask. He swirled it and then took a draught. The being's eyes opened wide and he hacked a bit as the raw alchohol went down, drawing a laugh from the outlaw. The Ryn coughed.
Roma said as he looked into the flask. The ryn blinked as though he just remembered something and he reached into one of the boxes of his Double Viol. His hand came back with a data chit and dropped it into the outlaw's waiting hand. The outlaw took the Chit and pressed it into the Frame of his shades. Display screens lit up on the inside of his lenses and began to show information. The Outlaw watched the data scroll past for a bit as the Ryn took another pull from the flask. Soon enough the outlaw let out a low whistle of amazement. "Holy...sithspit..." He muttered. Roma grinned. the Outlaw said with a smile. He stood and flicked a roll of paper currency into the Ryn's Hat. "Clear skies, Roma. Ive got a few buisness deals to make." "May the Dark Sun never set, Gajo." The Ryn replied. He looked to the flask and offered it back to the Outlaw. "Keep it. Its more valuable to you than me." The Ryn smirked and took another pull from the flask as the outlaw walked away.

The ship landed and the door cut through the hull and Drako force pushed the wall in. Drako leaped in seeing Drake blasting into the several troops.
" .........Clear....... "
" Where is that spider droid.......? " Drako looked down the long dark hall.

Tal glanced back at the Padawan and said "How so? Outdated it may be, but does that make it any less effective? Especially when one of the deadliest beings in the Galaxy has modified it to keep up with the times?" He let him ruminate on that, as he took point, moving forward, 17m at the ready, moving towards the inner layer of the base, clearing each room, and beckoning the Jedi to follow. "Not much here but a bunch of Deactivated Droids," He added, grimacing.
After some time they reached a large Durasteel wall, the barrier between the outer base and the inner base. The entrance was a large blast door placed in the center. Tal paced forward to the control panel, and tapped out the code. Turning to the slowly opening door he waited until he could see behind it.
The Echani was displeased at what he saw.
There were at least 40 Battle Droids approaching the door, and as they realized who was opposite them they began to ready their weapons.
They were far too late.
Tal through himself into a righthand shoulder roll, spraying high-powered bolts from his 17m, Azure shots burning through duranium legs and shins, and as he came out of the roll, heads and chests. The clip ran dry just as the last droid was rendered into scrap.
"The EMP appears not to have effected this area..." Said Tal as he slapped a fresh Power Pack home, "And that is the result of an "Outdated" weapon...one that can destroy something in half the time it would take an E-11..." Tal smirked and proceeded forward, avoiding the still burning wreckage.

" It doesn't feel like it's been long enough to have arrived already. They say time flies when you're having fun, but we haven't started to have our fun yet. " Angel said. " Then again, we don't have to land right this minute. On the other hand, we don't want to wear ourselves out beforehand in case this Rook character is anything like Labrynth. Tough choice... "

Luger jumped and ran to the forefront of the group and scaned the area. Then said to Drako"Probly this way Sir."He pointed with his gun towards the way the control room was.

" I don't know. As of right now I know we're not ready for that encounter. " Angel said. " At the very least, you need to recover all your memory before we even consider the final showdown. "

"I think we need a new ship too. This one just..doesn't feel right."

Mordranna had little time to activate her lightsaber, as Tal blasted one battle droid after another. "You're good," she commented, searching for any stragglers. She then followed Tal's lead through the burning wreckage, thinking about the map she'd seen earlier that Tal showed herself and Rekan.
(( gentlemen, I do believe I shall fast forward us a hair ... ))
"We must be in the right place," Mordranna commented, as they came to an area with a huge blast door, labeled "Restricted Area". "Shall we see what's behind Door Number One?"

" If we do get another one, don't sell this one. I'd rather we give it to Gunny or Hudson after we find out where either is now. Neb entrusted this ship to us, and if we're not gonna have it, it's better someone else he trusted did rather than anyone else. " Angel said, then pulled out Neb's saber. " Like his saber. He entrusted it to me, and though I never use it, I keep it for a couple of reasons. One, Neb was a friend and saved the both of us. Two, I'll honor his last request to hold onto it as my way of thanking him. " Putting it away, she added, " Though as far as ships go, upgrade is the only option. We'd need a vessel with everything this one has, if not more, and that includes a fighter hangar so we can have the Sundered Rose with us. "

" He'd just scrap it into junk, then constantly nag us about it and call the union of cranky bastards and then everywhere we go, every cranky b*****d we meet will lecture us about it and hit us with their canes or whatever. " Angel said.

"And it'll piss him off." he added right as he landed onto the planet.
