She blinked again, both hearing Gideon’s words, and feeling the conviction of them in the back of her mind. That was the strangest thing… It was Bianca’s kiss to her cheek that roused her from lalaland, and she beamed at the dark haired girl. The language she spoke then wasn’t one that Bella was familiar with…Considering she generally spoke Spanish or English herself. But nevertheless she liked it… And promptly told Bianca so.

And I do say so…”, she teased lightly, again reaching out to play with Bianca’s hair. It was so soft—And so dark. Her own hair varied in shade…Anywhere between being a honeyed auburn, to having tidbits of red in it in the summer… “I think I should dye my hair this color… Then we can be twins!

Something in the back of her mind told her that someone very dear to her didn’t like the scent of dye. And probably would prefer if she left her hair alone. Then she heard Bianca say something about…punishing the white witch and Bella shook her head slowly… “She is a bad, bad girl. She does the punishing, and likes it… You shouldn’t be near her.”, Bella told her very seriously, for once seeming to be firm on something. Though she then broke into a smile, simply because Bianca wished it.

She was about to cheer about going swimming when something blocked the light from her eyes, and suddenly she felt someone kissing her—And it was definitely not Bianca. No, she knew this, knew him, Gideon again. Why did he always fill her head? Always always... He made her hate blondie bad barbie even more... His heartbeat was like a song she could track from halfway across the island… She found herself returning the kiss with earnest, only to have it broken— And the Siren couldn’t say anything for a moment.

Her face felt warm, and her heart was thudding—She looked at Bianca and sighed happily, her hand going to her forehead like a damsel about to faint. “You have got to try that…”

Bella’s mood flipped like a switch, as it had been doing for most of the day, and she suddenly gave them both dazzling smiles as her arms crisscrossed and she reached for the edges of her shirt and peeled it off over her head, revealing a deep forest green bikini underneath. The miniskirt she wore she soon shimmied out of, and she threw it atop her sandals on the beach. Reaching out she tagged them both and called, “Not it!!”, before she dashed down the beach at amazing speed… Actually, only a blur in the air until she hit the beautiful blue waters of the beach, in which she did so with a spectacular splash.

"Last one to the water is a rotten spider egg!"

Omega - Not quite at the boiling point

Christian stood there, fuming still having to listen to Dimitri basically be a jackass. Judging by the act, there was zero to no chance for an apology. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Raine finishing up a small dance and discharge, frustration over the whole situation beginning to boil over.

He noticed Dimitri circling Christian almost like a wolf. Then to insinuate he’d shoot Christian in kind was just too much. Something told Christian the guy’d get his arm ripped off by anything above a thirty ought. Just as he was tightening up his fists, he felt Raine rest her hand on his shoulder, backing him up and causing him to stop himself from kicking Dimitri hard in his backside.

It seemed that everyone save Billy was in line with keeping Dimitri in his place. Sophia had even wanted to see someone get their a** kicked. Raine leveled her own threat, though Christian bristled a bit at that. He could take care of himself… He let that irritation sit somewhere in the back of his mind, past what anger he had for the current situation.

Christian’s eyes followed the guy as he moved. When Raine let a tiny bit of electricity form on her fingertip, he bit back the urge to grab at it. “If she don’t fry you,” Christian said to Dimitri. “I will.”

The tension was easing up slightly with Christian and Raine standing there. It seemed like their was going to be a tiny bit of a showdown. Or at least a Mexican standoff. Christian’s attention was distracted slightly though when Raine was directing traffic for Sophie. She took slight turn for the worst, her state going from what seemed to be vertigo to what looked to be complete exhaustion…

“Yea, I gotcha, Raine,” Christian said to his friend as he took a step back from the standoff with Dimitri. It seemed it wouldn’t go anywhere with the low energy levels of both himself and Raine. Not only that, making sure Sophie was well seemed to shift to the top of the priority list.

Billy, I’ll get up there shortly,” he said to the speedster, his stare finally falling away from Dimitir. Christian was sure nothing was going to happen, but he was dead serious earlier. He wanted to put a bullet into the guy and was grateful he didn’t have a gun when he leveled that threat; he would have done it without hesitance.

As Dimitri was taunting him and telling him to relax, Christian didn't seem like he was listening to the playboy. Things between them were more than likely going to escalate even further until Raine, the sarcastic chick from before intervened and held Dimtri at gunpoint.

Unlike Dimitri's fake attempt at shooting Christian, Raine packed ammunition in her finger gun pointed at the playboy; electric ammunition. She told the playboy if he made any more threats, then he was going to be roasted like meat. And if for some reason that wasn't going to happen, then Christian would do the same.

"St-St-Stay back." Dimitri warned them both in a nervous tone as he still kept his fingers in the fashion of a gun, moving away towards them slightly.

The drug once again altered part of his personality and emotions; the one that usually made him excited for a challenge no matter what difficulty. Now he just looked pathetic. And in addition, the drug did something much worse that second. Something that he promised himself he wouldn't do to his friends or innoncent people after what happened to Calypso no matter what.

Use his powers around them.

Dimitri then concentrated out of fear, a marbel sized projectile of 1300 degree magma rested on his index finger, rivaling Raine's electricity ammo she was packing. As a result, Dimitri's clothes, starting with his shirt then shorts right afterward began to disintegrate slowly like someone crushing potato chips. It would start from the lower portion of his shorts as well as his shirt. He made enough room between himself and Raine to make sure she wouldn't have her clothes burned off along with parts of her body. Though at the least she will probably be sweating like a pig if she continued staring at him up and down.

"What are you staring at?!?"

Judging from Jack's reaction to the sudden disappearance of the spiders, she wasn't crazy. Well, that was a comforting thought. Her gaze softened as she saw him laying down on the sand, probably more tired than she was from the running and flying off of cliffs. He laid back, the grin on his lips causing her to smile as well, especially when he apologized for almost dying, and spitting water in her face. Walking over to him, knew kneeled down next to him, laughing as she gently punched him in the arm. It wasn't enough to hurt him in the slightest -- it was all in good fun.

"You think I'll let you take all the credit? You're dreamin', love," she said with a chuckle, rising as he found the strength to get to get up as well. Her eyes found his once more, something seeming to change in them as he took a few steps towards her. His hands closed around her waist, drawing her to him abruptly, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss. The seconds dragged into minutes, her head swimming with passionate thoughts, even after their lips parted. It felt nice in his arms, and as he showed no signs of releasing her, his eyes boring straight into her, the redhead felt the blood rush to her cheeks, breathing shallow. Her lips were slightly parted as she fought the urge to lean in once more, the redhead tilting her head to the side ever so slightly as he opened his mouth as if to say something. Unfortunately, what he said was not necessarily the thing she wanted to hear. Still, at least it was relatively funny.

"What now? Well, I can think of a few things," she said with a mischievous grin, biting down on her lower lip gently as her fingers trailed up his chest and over his shoulder, bushing against the back of his neck. Her body pressed against him, head swimming as she realized it was hard to think straight when she was with him. Had he always been this intoxicating? It was like she could think of nothing else. It didn't matter how they got to the beach at this point -- the point was that they were here, and no one else mattered.

Leaning up, the redhead's lips pressed against Jack's again, her whole body leaning into him as she pulled away slightly, her lips brushing against his as she spoke.

"Let's head back to the condo. Maybe have some lunch in bed?"

Blair fell to the floor, in one searing ball of pain. Her face felt on fire and probably was. If she had not cared, she would have felt happier, inside. But she did care. She loved the feeling, in fact.

The last time she saw 'Old Man' Antonio fluttered across her mind. It was probably attempting to focus on anything other than the pain.

You live in past, Blair. Not a good trait for assassin, especially not young one. People, all around us are trying to betray us. It is what people do. They wait for opportunity. If you live in the past, you give them opportunity. Even I, your friend, will betray you if you do not pay attention.

Easy to say when you never regret. Not one drop of blood.

He had been right, though. He had betrayed her the very next week. She had found him shot countless times in his own kitchen with his wife and children. Blair had become fond of the old bugger, despite herself. The only decent person she had met for years.

She had not paid attention and even her fellow mutants had betrayed her. Not that it was not foreseen. Antonio had told her as much.

You and I are similar, Blair. We both are things people do not understand. My father did what I must do now, or I will die. My children must do the same. You change shapes, look like other people. That is all people see, all they know. So they will fear, distrust you. I pity you, Blair. No one will know you, unless they are exactly like you. Do not hope for friends in this life.

It seemed the old a** was right again. She had thought people were generally shallow, and this proved it, really. Nothing farther than the outer skin. Idiots. Even that cute blonde guy. A shame, but there was nothing to be done about it.

She lay still, patiently, until the world stopped spinning before her eyes. She heard the voices of the others, but she could not care less. Thankfully, the blow she had suffered far out-pained her headache.

Blair sat up with great difficulty, vaguely aware that the room temperature reminded her of a hot aussie summer's day. It took some time before she managed to realize the source of the unprecedented heat-wave. She watched Cissa coolly through hooded eyes, wondering if there was a fire-extinguisher about somewhere. Her hand crept to her blistered face, touching it gingerly. Bloody hell, she thought, half my face must be gone.

His team leader was glowing. Dominik’s gaze centered on the woman, knowing instantly who she was via the brief description of her abilities he’d been given when he was assigned to the Omega team. Her name, her name...what was her name? The young man was generally more adept at recalling such things, but in the haze that KILLJOY produced it was suddenly lost on him; buried beneath the surface of a thousand other strange emotions and intents. ...Something with an ‘n’, right? The man’s head tilted to the side, an innocent inquisitiveness playing on his features...'Nancy’? ‘Nadine’? Narcissa! The sudden realization found the Slovenian wondering why he’d forgotten the name in the first place. It was...odd; hard to pronounce with his accent, something which usually miffed him quite a bit; as such, it was a title which would usual linger in his mind. He generally detested the way his accent prompted smiles in others...though, currently, he hadn’t a care in the world about such things. Currently, the only thing he was truly focused on was the idea that he might be able to light his cigarette on Cissa’s aura. His team leader was a walking, breathing lighter..and said lighter seemed quite angry at the woman with the gun. It probably had something to do with the man in her arms; the Indian.

Jacen acknowledged his presence by reaffirming an earlier statement, and Dominik only smiled and shook his head in response, presently too enveloped in the unfolding scene to conjure any witty remarks. There were others piling into the room, and some who had been there that he’d not noticed before. Maddie’s exclamation about an arachnid apocalypse had been rather loud, and was successful in driving his own attention the direction of the spiders again. Ah, right; the spiders. The hoards of terrible, evil little (and some not so little) spiders. His boot came into hard contact with an adjacent one, large enough in size for the impact to leave a nice smear of entrails in it’s wake, and on the heel of his shoe.

”Prekleto malo škodljivcev. Upam, da ne madež ..." His tone was agitated, his English momentarily forgotten as he lamented over the potential of lingering stains on his preferred pair of boots. Pushing another persistent arachnid off of his shoulder, Dominik tuned back in to the chaos between Blair, Peta and Cissa. The Indian man’s expression had become momentarily morose, his words hinting at the plight of his people...mocking, hilarious. To add to the effect, he promptly shrank out of Blair’s clutches and kicked her, the inflections in his voice comically high. The young man clasped a hand to his mouth in effort to conceal his encroaching laughter, hazel-flecked eyes glistening with untold mirth as Aren scooted closer to him; melding into the background and becoming another bystander...just like Dominik. He grinned, finally trusting himself to speak without chuckling,

”Impressive moves, Tiny.” He said lightly, coining the nickname since he wasn’t sure what the man’s actual codename was. It seemed appropriate, anyway...granted, so did ‘Dwarf’ or ‘Midget’...but the latter two might also be considered offensive, so Tiny it was! He nearly cracked up as the name was relinquished (he was suddenly finding himself very, very humorous), but the intent was fast quelled as Cissa unleashed her powers on The poor woman with the gun.

”Jezus Kristus...” was his only remark to the spectacle, a few befuddled blinks coupling the statement. He wasn’t sure he wanted to get on that one’s bad side anytime soon; granted, the rise in temperature should have caused that thought to hit him already. The room was undeniably hot...not painfully so, but annoyingly so. ’Someone really ought to douse the flames...maybe the redhead can do it...’

Crunch. Another spider died under Dominik’s heel as it made an attempt to cling near him. There were others now, he realized, crawling over his clothes...one in particular on his shoulder (again?!), which fast became the center of his attention as it sank its fangs into the tender flesh of his exposed neck, ”Jezus- ********! Get out- I mean, off!” an angry sweep of his hand sent the creature sprawling to the floor, where moments later it, too, would fall victim to the underside of his boot. ”Kjer je...I mean, when- I mean where did these little škodljivcev* come from, anyway?” Oddly enough, he didn’t feel as embarrassed about his flurried lapses in English as he usually did. If anything, he was far more focused on getting the creepy crawlies off of his shirt... he was also quite enveloped in the idea of a bowl of cereal, too. Food of any kind would be nice, actually; so long as none of the spiders tried to add themselves to the menu.

Speaking of which...”Eh...where’d they go?” The creatures had suddenly disappeared, evaporated into thin air..perhaps gone back to hell where they’d come from. He blinked, unsure of himself; what was going on? The question carried in the look he shot at Aren and everyone else around him. They’d seen them too, hadn’t they? It was odd...even as a hand rose to rub the bite wound on his neck, he could no longer feel it- there was only the fading memory of the pain which had been spawned from the abrasion.

”I’m hungry...” Dominik muttered absently, letting his hand drop back to his side...the instance already somewhat forgotten. The statement was random; an after-though amidst the chaos, but made valid by the rumbling noise his stomach produced thereafter.

Alpha: No bathing suit...Oh well.

Bianca was quite pleased needless to say that her accidental slip into Italian was well accepted and that Bella seemed to have liked it.
"Then it shall be done~" Closing her eyes as the fingers moved through her hair Bianca gave a small frown at Bella's sentence. Opening her eyes to look at Bella's hair Bianca shook her head. "I think your hair looks perfect as it is Bella." Running her hands through Bella's own hair Bianca gave her a nod in response to staying away from Narcissa. If she truly wished it there wasn't much Bianca wasn't willing to do for Bella. Still it brought a smile to her face just the same like Bianca had wanted so it seemed like a very fair trade. Then Gideon moved in between them and planted a kiss on Bella causing Bianca to stop and stare in jealousy.

That was not okay yet at the same time Bella had seemed to enjoy it enough that Bianca couldn't very well say anything concerning it. Still somewhere deep down Bianca felt slightly left out for the moment. Keeping a smile on her face in an attempt to hide her jealousy and feelings of being left out Bianca gave Gideon a nod. Giving a shrug in response to Bella telling her to try that letting go of the other girl reluctantly at first. Watching Bella strip down to just her bathing suit and rush to the water with surprising speed Bianca looked down at herself. She was having some doubts about striping down to just her bra and panties considering Gideon would be there. Sure they covered just as much as the usual two piece bathing suit but even so. It was not same thing somehow.

Then again she couldn't very well get in the water in jeans and a shirt considering her phone was in her jeans pocket and well it made it harder to swim. Letting out a small sigh Bianca took her phone out of her pocket for a moment checking to see if she had received anything in her blissful ignorance. After noticing she had not she returned it to her pocket then unbuttoned the pants slowly stepping out of them and tossing them aside. Next came the shirt which she took off somewhat slowly though not really on purpose. Tossing it on her pants she then took off her shoes and socks tossing them with the rest of her clothes. Considering herself for a moment in her purple underwear Bianca then headed for the water.

She didn't do anything as spectacular as Bella but that was only because she wasn't sure how deep it was so diving in was out of the question for the moment. With another glance back Bianca allowed herself to submerge completely enjoying the feeling of bliss the water gave her just as much as Bella did though on a lesser scale. Surfacing somewhere near Bella Bianca gave off a dazzling white smile.
"Feels good. When we finish I think I might get something to eat. I am feeling quite hungry for some reason despite having ate already." Blushing at the last sentence she was sure she sounded like a pig that just ate and ate. Still she was feeling pretty hungry oddly enough. Looking in the direction of where Gideon had been standing Bianca decided trying to change the subject. "Are you coming?" Bianca didn't see him but then again Bella had caught her attention again for the moment.

Omega: Fun is Done User Image

Narcissa was stared at the pathetic creature on the floor, her expression stone cold, glowing white eyes without feeling or remorse. She had counted on Aren reacting exactly as he did—To use his powers, and move. The little kick he’d given the wretch in midget form would have made her smirk, if she wasn’t so focused. If he hadn’t—And had taken the full brunt of her blast… Well, then he had a lot to learn as an Omega.

It entertained her briefly, as she watched the blast mostly miss Blair—That even with the lowest grade blast she could possibly issue—The girl still looked like the bowels of hell threw up brimstone on her face. Most of the blast had gone into the wall—The gun that Blair had been holding now a useless lump of molten metal. The bullets luckily hadn’t combusted in the chamber. She watched Blair roll in pain, debating on whether or not she had learned well enough not to hold what belonged to at gun point—And threaten to kill things that mattered to her.

It was fine, for Blair to threaten Narcissa. That, she could rather care less about. She could handle herself—Protect herself. But to attack someone under her wing, any of the people in the room for that matter… It was utterly unacceptable.

And either by pain of fire or threat of insanity—Narcissa would make that unmistakably clear.

Having forgotten that she was currently causing the linoleum around her to roll back and turn black, her gaze was fierce as it landed on Shandra. Stop? Closing her eyes, her head tilted back and she exhaled—The light fading and sucking back deep into her core. Her hair became a gentle gold, her skin retaining a slight tan… When her eyes opened, they glittered dangerously with the after effects of her power, a bright electric blue—See through, like crystalline glass.

Shandra… Her head tilted towards the red head, and she reached out with her now cool hand—Granted it was a little warmer than the normal human— And touched her shoulder. Feeling her aura, she sighed again, almost relieved… This was her Shandra, not an impostor. Noting her black eyes, a small, indulgent smirk crossed her features lazily. “Only because you asked so nicely.”

She stepped from the hole she was steadily burning through the floor as if she was stepping from a puddle, her next destination Aren… Noting that the spiders were gone, she frowned… That wasn’t kosher with her idea of what had just happened. The thinning oxygen in the room served to keep actual fire to a minimum… She also drew most of it back into herself. It was just the scent of smoke, and burned flesh that she left behind. It was rather like badly cured bacon. Crossing, or passing by the growing number of people, she reached up and grasped his chin with a soft hand, tilting his head from left to right. He was just a baby… All of these new Omega’s were... She had to protect them, keep them safe.

“You’re welcome.”, she hadn’t replied to Aren lightly when he’d first spoken… Preoccupied with watching Blair burn. She wanted to ask if he’d been hurt… But that wasn’t her way. But he looked fine enough…. If a little ruffled.

It was better than having his brains splayed across the kitchen floor.

“Don’t get caught next time…”, her touch was almost affectionate as she drew away, though her words were cold as ice. Her actions and words often collided, just like her personality did with her powers... Her voice and gaze could be cold, cold as ice… But when she lit things up, it was usually hotter than hell. Yet now that her powers were locked away… The KILLJOY was rearing its ugly head, making kinder—Slightly less lethal.

Her eyes flickered to Jacen when she caught his comment about the Professor, and the amused smirk remained on her features. “Don’t be silly, love…His pockets are deep—Certainly deep enough to cover this bit of damage. The school has been restored how many times?”

There were others in the room still, others that hadn’t been there before---Maddy, another new Omega, Antonio—Whom she hoped wasn’t being a baby anymore.

Madison… The first upstairs closet by the stairs has a first aid kit in it… Could you possibly bring it here?”, she questioned the girl, voice far kinder than it usually was…Not quite as much a bark—More of a request. “I think I’ll need both of them. They’re giant red cases…”

Her eyes fell to the new Slovenian and she sized him up, gaze appraising… His English seemed decent enough to her, not quite like Petra—Whom strangely she had seen hide nor hair of since earlier. “You were right in accepting the promotion—And deal with it now, you’re on the superior team. I’m Narcissa—If you haven’t been told. Welcome to the Omega’s.”

Now that more important things were out of the way—Her attention returned to Blair, and she walked over to the girl… Swallowing the urge to show pity. She was, a pathetic thing… Almost a waste of space and carbon… the sun goddess knelt down near to her, yet not to close, lest she tried to strike out at her. “If you’re done being a little b***h now… You have two choices. You can keep pressing your luck with me… And your face won’t be the worst of your issues… Or two… You can swallow your foolish pride and try to stay the hell out of my way. If you aren’t here to cause problems, and you obviously aren’t here to help… There has to be a reason. And it appears to me, that you are a lost little girl who thinks a little too bloody highly of herself.”

“And if you are lost… And you want your face fixed, you can come with us when we leave…We have friends that could assist you, if you can’t fix the injuries yourself with taking on another form. In the meantime… I will treat you like a prisoner of war. Safe as houses… Comfortable. So long as you don’t step out of line… That includes leaving the premises without my expressed permission, threatening my people, or taking the form of one of my people. Anything slick will get you killed. Once we leave the island… If you choose not to come back with us, you are free to go. But until then… You should sit tight. And think of it as… A vacation.”

Narcissa stood up and started to walk away from the girl to the sink, and grabbed a few towels. She filled a large bowl with water and ice from the freezer, before returning to Blair. She set the bowl down and knelt again… Placing the fresh towels in the water. A cold compress and clean cover would help with scarring, pain, infection and swelling later on.

Right now, it was just going to hurt like hell. Wringing the towel out—Narcissa smiled, almost cheerfully.

“Hold still, and try not to scream.”

Those watching, may or may not be surprised at her attitude.

Narcissa usually would have just left her target for dead.

Omega - Condo - I Am So Tired Of All Your Crap.

Maddy had no real idea how it had happened or when, but she knew there was some random girl laying on the floor writhing about. The girls eyes were wide and confused. She did not like being confused one bit. She still had no idea what was with the spiders, and she still didn't know why the others weren't taking them more seriously. More importantly, who the hell was this girl (and for that matter, who was the new guy with the bad accent)?

It didn't help Madison's demeanor that Forellen was acting so uncaring right now. Wasn't she supposed to be the Omega emergency medicine chick? Maddy had the knowledge, but, as ever, never had applied it beyond a lab. If the air temperature in the room wasn't elevated because of Narcissa, Maddy would have been hot from her heart pounding so hard.

"Yeah, maybe I'll join you after I'm done killing the spiders and cleaning up the wicked burns. Thanks, Forellen. Thanks a lot." It was sad for the girl to hear those words come out of her mouth, though somewhat mumbled. She would have much preferred to go take a nap, especially if she could get it with the French one. Hopefully she had been far enough away by then to not hear the crack.

The girl eyed Narcissa pensively as she spoke. Her tone was unlike what Maddy had really ever heard from her, but it did not satiate her sudden fury at all of them there. It might have been KILLJOY, or it might just have been from putting up with this sort of crap for nearly a year now. She'd been there for what she felt like was a damned long time (though, in comparison to others, it really wasn't). It was always so much drama, or some sort of illogicality.

Maddy nearly bumped into Jacen as she turned around to go get the med-kits, not looking back at her leader. She jogged up the stairs, threw the closet door at the top open, and left it that way as she came back down to the kitchen. They were slightly heavy, and she nearly stumbled down the stairs from not even paying attention.

The girl knelt beside Narcissa, setting the boxes down and throwing them both open. She looked at the girl again, and flinched a bit. Why the hell was she trying to get up? And what the hell was Narcissa doing? Why the hell was she asking so many questions in her mind?

"Oh, just move!" she half shouted, pushing Narcissa aside. "Don't even bother with that. You see she blackened bits? Yeah, that's bad. You touch a towel to that and the fibers'll stick." She grabbed a roll of bandaging from the kit. "You really have no clue what you're doing, do you?" Of course, the meaning of that statement went beyond just the treatment of burns.

"I know you love justifying your aggressiveness with some sort of self-righteousness or false belief that you're protecting us, but honestly! We can handle ourselves! We did in Limbo, and we can continue to! That's why we're X-Men!" Maddy was seething. Every little complaint she had ever held to the back of her mind thus far burst forward tenfold.

"I don't care if the Professor has enough capital to clean up! As an Omega you think you're better than a human? Well than calm the ******** down and think logically, unlike them!" Alright, that may have been a bit hypocritical, considering her blatant and uncontrolled force on the spiders outside, but really. Spiders?

It wasn't just Narcissa that was like this. Some of the team she felt she could trust to do the right thing, like Shandra or Forellen, but even Emma Frost, one who was supposed to be in control, like Cissa, could go insane. This was too much like when Maddy trying to clean up Alek after Emma tried to "protect" the rest of them by sapping his powers.

"Stop bloody touching it," she growled at the injured one [Blair], who was poking a forming blister. Maddy smacked her hand aside and began wrapping the bandaging around Blair's head, cover her one eye. She ruffled through the other box, taking a minute to find an unmarked bottle of what she thought was penicillin. There wasn't much they could do without a real healer except prevent infection. At the same time, she pulled out an epipen and set it aside in case anybody had a bad spider bite. She hadn't even noticed that the one on her arm was gone, along with the rest of the dreadful arachnids.

Narcissa’s first thought, when someone laid hands on her—Was to burn them off. It was only the memory of Derek, the last Omega leader before her, slapping Shandra in the face, that kept her light at bay. That was an image that was forever burned into her memory. She would never physically harm one of her own, not intentionally. No matter what it is that they had done… Even though, this was as close as she had ever gotten to wanting to slap an Omega.

Although it occurred to her just then that Madison, was now the new Alekzander Truth in her eyes. Completely useless... And poison on a team.

The blond calmly stood up, picking up the large bowl of ice water as she went—And then promptly dumped it over Madison’s head. Her voice was scathing and cold… Like gravel and broken glass. She was angry, and it was clear. “Perhaps that will help you cool off, Ammo— And remember that I am your leader for better or worse. And that I can, and will, make your life a living hell if necessary.”

She didn’t really care if it the water touched Blair or not—She had no regard for the actual comfort and safety of one who had held a gun to Aren. That wasn’t the KILLJOY. That was Narcissa.

“They are kitchen towels, girl—Not fluffy bath towels. The fibers and smooth and they won’t ‘catch’ as you put it. Anything is better than leaving it to the open air.”, she snipped, her cerulean blue eyes pinned on Madison. Narcissa always encouraged her Omega’s to have a spine… But not when she was already furious, and certainly not in front of new recruits. That was unacceptable, and Madison should know better.

“You aren’t X-Men.”, she spat out, her gaze flickering to the rest of them, daring anyone to interfere. The blonde diamond heiress, until recently, had been mostly insane—Infected with another personality, forced upon her by a power obsessed Demon Lord. To push her… Brought that residual cruelty out. And that would truly would be suicide. “You are Junior recruits... It makes you slightly higher on the food chain... But still translates to the fact that most of you are still children wearing costumes, pretending to be adults—Learning how to fight.”

“So until you’re out of my care—And you are no longer assigned to me… Yes, I will protect you. Yes, I will defend you. As aggressively as I see fit. Tell me, Madison, why did I end up in Limbo playing a whore mistress to some Demon who mind ******** me six ways from Sunday? How easily we forget…”, Narcissa trailed off, moving from Blair and Madison—Grabbing a syringe from the first med kit. It was large, and nasty looking. Of course… The girl could attack her for pouring water over her head…But that would prove her entirely hypocritical, considering what she’d just flipped her lid about.

Not that she wasn’t proving that already.

For those joining the party late—Demons from the alternate dimension Limbo had started tearing the school apart several weeks, almost a month ago now. Blowing it to bits, attacking with creatures from nightmares. They’d captured several of her Omega’s… And threatened to kill them. Would have killed them— And everyone else in the Academy… Children and adults alike. They were all just bags of bone and flesh to them—Food to the demons. She’d been given a choice—Give herself up, or they would kill them.

So she powered down, and gave herself up.

Why? Oh, to protect the blithering idiot on the floor before her.

"Perhaps the next time something happens, and it will... I'll simply leave you to your fate.", Pressing the comm on her wrist, she chose Gideon’s channel… “Tin man… I’m going to need you immediately in the kitchen for a moment, if you aren’t too busy with Dorothy. Actually… I’ll need your blood, and your muscle.”

She repeated the same message over Evelyn’s channel. Minus the muscle and Tin man quip.

“Omega’s are better Madison. You either are one, or you aren't... You have what it takes, or you don't. How long have we watched the Alpha’s fall apart at every whim? Since you are so displeased with me—And I have no use for dissension and weakness in my ranks, when we get back—I’ll see about transferring you to the Alpha’s. And as you think you know better than I, as I am still your leader for the time being, vacation or not, your task will be to guard this little pathetic miscreant…”, she nodded towards Blair, impatiently awaiting the arrival of Gideon. It had occurred to her that she couldn’t call a doctor… Even a private one. She didn’t have Emma’s connections everywhere in the world. So… They would have to make due with what they had on hand. “You can tend to her every need, play her watchdog, until we leave. Gideon will be arriving shortly to move her… And then, so long as she behaves—We can see what can be done about her face. In my opinion... She should have dodged faster.”

Her eyes surveyed the others in the room... "If anyone else has a problem-- Speak up now. Or forever shut the bloody hell up."

They all knew who she was. And those that didn't would soon have a good idea. She wasn't gentle, or kind like the Alpha leader-- Not in the traditional sense. She was hard, and cold... Cruel, when necessary. She did not accept mouthing off, did not accept anything less than the best from her Omega's.

And if they didn't give her that, they were due for a transfer.

Kitchen to --- oh s**t, someone better catch her

Shandra’s full lips turned up into an ironic smile when Jacen spoke about Professor Xavier not being happy with the mess. Even though Narcissa tried the rebuttle about him having deep enough pockets or something to that effect, the redhead soul owning being (shocker!) couldn’t help but wonder just how deep and for how long. He must really get sick of his toys being broken and having to be repaired at some point…

If not, he wasn’t even a hu—mutant.

The thoughts kept her amused enough that she barely even noted that Blair was on the floor in agony until the new man (Dominque) started off in a new language she had not heard. Shandra tilted her head, staring at him, and trying to make sense of it. Nothing, she got nothing out of it. Still, her attention was yet again dragged away by Narcissa when a gentle hand reached out to her. If human/mutants (without an animal mutation) could purr…Shandra might very well be doing that. Well, she might of if she could move in and snuggle the warmth and keep it hidden away in one of the many places she –

Oh yeah she was supposed to contact that…making a mental note to do that Shandra nodded with a smile.

“I’ll…try to ask nicely more often?” The words came out slow, uncertain, but the playful smile at the end almost made up for that. Or at least, it finished it off in a very Shandra fashion to make it as though she was always meant to go that slow, to be that uncertain.

She closed her blackened eyes and took a few breaths just trying to calm down. Something told her that if she turned around so the new people could see it might not make the best impression. Demons and all of that…she didn’t want Peta to think she was evil just yet. She’d done so much back on the reservation to stop that…

Instead, she concentrated on Narcissa’s voice as she moved away, telling others (Maddy?) to get the first aid kit off the second floor. And tap tap sound…movement. Shandra’s eyes were still closed as she made sure to focus on calming down…damn it was taking too long. Frustrated with how long the reversal was going, Shandra just spun around and opened them as soon as she felt the feeling almost gone. Just a tinge still here, maybe it made it look like her eyes weren’t as luminescent as they usually were—

Was Narcissa actually taking care of the Gun female? The older, compared to a lot of others, omega paused. Very noticeably as she stared at the sight. Okay…who replaced their Cissa? --- She didn’t remember Californian water having happy chemicals in it. But she was proved a little wrong when Maddy came back in and tried to overtake the Omega leader in the field of watching out for the would be assassin.

Shandra physically drew back as a thought of a memory passed in the situation. That…was never a good thing. Derek was still a harsh memory considering she hadn’t been on the Hellions for too long when that happened. But the real trigger...the real jewel was the idea of that strange shi'ar tech that he'd hooked them all up to. When he'd screamed at her for doing what he wanted but in her own way...like Maddy had just tried to do with Cissa.

Please…no…,” escaped her mouth in a strangled whisper at the reminder of it.

Shandra clenched her hands into tight fists at her side as she watched Narcissa lay into Madison. Memories of getting told off…twice…by the same leader, for just voicing up sprang back to life. And it all piled backwards onto her - Derek, herself, Doc---Shandra grasped her head as a headache started to onset like a tsunami over taking her. When she lifted her face back up...For a moment, Narcissa had seemed like a snake in a coil. Ready to bite at any time, ready to lash out like an angry lioness. To devour Madison who had stepped out of line. Was…was this what was becoming of them all? Shandra squeezed her eyes closed yet again, her fists still clenched, as she took in a deep breath. Although, this time for a much different reason. Narcissa was right…they weren’t x-men…they were all pretending…

She needed to stop pretending that this was her…

More memories flashed behind her eyes like thought bubbles, like remembering a dream. The only issue was that she never wanted to really remember her thoughts. And it was like one big rollercoaster that wouldn’t stop. Where did all the blocks go that she usually had to stop her from thinking about certain things for so long? Gone…like…they were taken from her or powered off.

Damn it she hated living in the past, but it always. Seemed. To happen.

Shandra opened her eyes just as Narcissa asked for any objections. And guess what she did?

Yep. Ran right out of the kitchen with such a conviction that it didn’t seem to fit the normally composed redhead.

Blair took in the events around her without a word. Content to know that she had been more or less written off.

A bloody lunatic asylum, she thought disgustedly. Goes to show that you should never stick your head out for anyone.

She mutely accepted the help from the main psychopath, that Cissa, then the nice-looking, short-haired girl (Maddy), not really minding the pain. Pain was useful. It was helping her get her senses back to normal. Her inner self was screaming at her to get the hell out of there, but for some reason she could not quite make herself do so. At any rate, she had been degraded from threat to victim. The was beyond useful.

Unfortunately, her gun was useless. But she would not be able to look herself in the eye if did not have a back-up, or two on her person. But no one had to know that. Or where...Or the other little useful items...Yeah, the few years under the guidance of Antonio was...instructive, to say the least.

She played the dazed wounded while her subconscious quickly and efficiently (as it had been endlessly drilled to) noted and stored the information the people around her were giving away to any and all who had the ears and eyes to listen and see.

What was it she wanted to accomplish? Well, rescue, really. But how to go about a rescuing a bunch of lunatics? Was it really worth it? Or necessary? They seemed fine enough to her. Happy in their own little world. Most of humanity was, after all, so why hold it against these people?

She looked vaguely at the girl helping her. "X-men?" she said quietly in confusement, playing the dazed wounded well, since that was what she was, after all. There was no reason to let on otherwise. She had heard about the X-men somewhere. She racked her mind.

She noted Cissa practically ordered her under guard. Not surprising. She would have ordered herself under guard. What the hell had gotten into her? Running in like that, guns blazing like a ****-ing action hero?
Not that it mattered now, but that Cissa ought to be knocked unconscious before someone who minded got hurt. Amazing how people who had next to no control over themselves always ended up as dominating control freaks.

She watched the red-head she had impersonated run out of the room, then looked around, frowning as far as her burnt skin would allow.

"Where have the spiders gone?"

Omega: Rooftops

The roof was not as settling as she had hoped it would be. She had gone up there (maybe leaving some small indentations in the gutter pipes as she melded them to her will to get there) due to her paranoia. She didn't want anybody touching her shiny metal objects. It seemed like everybody was fighting any room she had gone into so maybe they would have fought with her. Maybe they would have tried to take these things. Maybe Eli would want them back or Evie because she found them on her.

But the roof was not settling. The spiders were coming and they wanted them too. Why else would they be bothering her? They seemed to know. But these were hers. It was her power and she controlled them now. And it was shiny.

Climbing back down the drain pipe, she was distracted from the spiders wanting food. Food seemed like a very good idea right now. Walking through the kitchen door, Petra the BBs around her hand like a wiry metal glove... not paying attention she took half of the door knob with her as well. This left the door jarred partially open.

Petra was oblivious to mostly everybody else and anything that had gone on to this point of the day. Her attention was about that of a child and she had kept losing focus on reality to textures and things that she had enjoyed. The high seemed to be fading but was still enough for her to only care about one thing: food.

"Need food or vodka," she muttered in Russian not thinking about the fact that her team leader had ordered her to talk in English not but one day again. Not really caring if anybody else was around or paying attention to that fact, she started rummaging through the cupboards to find something that suited her.

Alpha: Will I Ever Get Dry?

" So could I. Just a little slow to come to me now a days..." Jack added, as Kerrigan's hands traveled up towards his neck. When she drew even closer to press herself against him his arms were completely about her waist tight, but comfortably so. When she drew away but was still so close he could scarcely breath his own air. Her suggestion to head back to the condo for maybe lunch in bed made him grin. Before he voiced his agreement, he couldn't fight the urge to kiss her once again. His arms loosened midway and but he didn't release her or stop kissing her for that matter. It crossed his mind that he was enjoying this too much, but then again it stood to reason this was a vacation, and she was a gorgeous and wonderful person, who could beat the crap out of him. He let it drag on for a another minute before he pulled back and looked her in the eye.

" At this rate I don't care. Just as long as I get desert also. We gotta deal." He chimed up as he semi released her. Semi being that he was ow walking with her as close as possible and his arm still around her waist. A slight awkward silence over him as they headed towards the condo. Since he was still abit soggy from the swim the warm body next to him was most welcome. All the while he tried to think about what would happen but not getting much further ahead then the present. When the finally reached the big building he finally let her go to get the door all gentlemen like then followed after her back up towards her room, of all familiar places.

He didn't waste much time and rummaging through the duffle bag of rations he left here to find something and open up and eat it. almost devouring despite even her. Although less wet still shirtless, he felt the sea salt on his skin. He looked upt at her as he grabbed another meal to devour watching her carefully. " I could use a shower... " He spoke finally as he gulped down his food and stretched his hands over his head. A mischievous grin played on his face as he got up and walked into her bathroom, and started the water running. " My food is here, and I rather not go all the way back to my room. Hope you don't mind." he called back as he slipped out of his swim trunks and into the shower.

Alpha: The Life

"Be careful using your powers, cutie," She replied to him very much aware of what happened earlier in the day.

Where some people might forget things, her power was working hard to fight this drug keeping the day quite vivid in her memory. Knowing much of what she did that day had been due to being under the killjoy influence, she wasn't ashamed of it nor did it embarrass her. Evie knew, though, that not everybody would take it that way once they all were free of it's holds. Being in her right mind, she had to be careful of what she did with Eli because she didn't want him to be upset with his own behavior.

"We should probably make sure you aren't suffering any after effects when we get home before you go all out again," Evie swam across the pool to grab a raft to float on. She pulled herself up onto the bright pink, plastic floatie and answered Eli's first question, "Of course somebody is going to pay for messing with us. That's how it goes. Whether it's from me or Cissa or Logan... somebody gets theirs. It just depends on who it is dishing out the justice. Cissa will probably kill them slowly and painfully or at least until they grovel at her feet for mercy. I'd probably scare the bajesus out of them and bring them in to the X-Men prison to let the leaders deal with them. I don't ask Logan what he does."

She flitted her way over to Eli and yawned, "I think two hours of sleep is catching up to me. I'm gonna nap for a bit. Thanks for keeping me from the big, bad and dangerous spiders. Stay out of trouble, Eli. You're a nice guy and I don't want to have to come rescue you from big, bad and dangerous females."

She laughed and winked.
