Tora Sin Tou beamed proudly at Em, giggling as Milla touched her fur. "Do you have any other monkeys?" she asked Em as she ruffled the infants fur. "Your fur is so bright and shiny and soft!" "Just the one- my eldest, Tawn. You've probably seen him around here with his girlfriend, Sarabi. He's the white one with brown spots. He hasn't been here with me for a while." She paused. "Where's your mother, sweetie?"

"Yes, yes I think I've seen him before. He sometimes talked with Hana .. I think." She yawned, stroking Milla gently. "Mums in the kitchen taking over the HQ's baking supplies."

Em nodded as Tou spoke, and would have replied, except Milla began to babble. "Ih hoka blblblb.... Flowa blblb," and started to laugh again. Em joined her. "I think she thinks your name is Flower."

Tou laughed aswell, tickling Milla under her chin. "Does she know her name yet?" she asked Emelyn, and then turned to the infant still in her arms. "I'm Tou, and this" she pointed to the flower "is a flower!"

Milla giggled at the explanation, and said "Flowa" again, and, leaping forward from her supported position against Tou's paws, wrapped her little baby paws as far around the child as she could, and hugged her.

((Ooo tay n_n Sorry, was distracted...))
Banda was curled up in the den, finishing off the last few pages of his book--the same one he had been reading a few days before when he met Jen. And it was GOOD! Wow, Isto was SOOOOOO right when he said this was a great book! It actually made SENSE now! Only a few more pages....
The forest seemed unusually dark for that time of day, cloaked in shadows with only an occasional sunbeam forcing through to lightthe area. However, Isto didn't seem to remotely care. It had been a while since he'd gone on a hike, so why not today? Besides, a little darkness never hurt anyone...

Tou felt overwhelmed as Milla hugged her, and kept saying 'Flowa'. She was going to say 'Tou' but thought that her new name was too cute. She cuddled the infant back, still giggling. "She's really cute Miss.Emelyn, I'd love to have a little brother or sister one day."

Moofuls ((Ooo tay n_n Sorry, was distracted...))

It had been a while since he'd gone on a hike, so why not today? Besides, a little darkness never hurt anyone... ((Ooh, the choices, choices....)) Tam, unamused by her mother's introductions of Milla, wandered off to find something less annoying to do. She thought about going into the kitchen, but she knew that Ms. Tora was in there- and she really didn't want to have to talk to anyone. ...She wandered, instead, into the den, and there, saw a monkey she'd never seen before. She was surprised, and wanted to turn around and leave- but her mother's voice, like a conscience, rang in her ears, and told her it was rude to just ignore someone. She wished she didn't have to talk, though. "Hello," she said, advancing upon the couch.

Sadly, Banda was apparently not very polite. Whatever the case, he completely ignored Tam, likely because he hadn't heard her arrival or greeting. He remains silent until he finishes his book, then closes it with a sigh of contentment, finally noticing Tam. "Oh, sorry.... Have you been here long? I didn't hear you..."

Tam wrinkled up her brow, hoping it wasn't evident through the holes in her skull. His voice sounded funny, and he seemed irritated. She sat down, paces from him. "Not long at all." She paused, and realized her mother would be angry with her for not having any manners. "...I don't know who you are."

Mauli shoved her hands into her pockets, trailing behind Isto a few feet. She kicked up a small cloud of dust, trying to turn her attentions away from anything that could have... made her get emotional. She didn't need any bloody emotions, not at the moment. Stupid Endy and her killing of shadows, stupid deal with Isto about him being a fifth-stager and... Wait, why -was- that a big deal? He's a fifth stager, why should she be sad? Maybe it was something else... some other odd feeling that she hated.
From the trees, several dark shapes shifted and bulged, their slitted yellow eyes watching the two travellers warily.

((Sorry, I was being scolded for something my mother did.))
"I'm Banda," he replied, smiling faintly and hoping down from the couch. Being up on it while she was down was an odd angle... it was hard to tell what she was saying. "Who're you?"
At the crack of a twig, Isto jumped slightly, glancing back over his shoulder. He hadn't been aware anyone was following... Hadn't been paying enough attention. When he realized it was only Mauli, he relaxed, flashing her a sheepish smile and wave. "Didn't know you were there."

Tam batted at her own ear, scratching away a minute itch. "Tam." She paused again. "That's my name, I mean. I've never seen you here before. ...Who's your mother?"

Nodding, he repeated 'Tam', just to be sure he had it right. Once reassured, he continued. "Moofuls adopted me 'liddle while ago. Do you know her?"

She noticed that strange quality in his voice again, where the words seemed to be echoing inside his mouth, like his tongue was hesitant.
She nodded. "Ms. Moo. Yeah- she's one of my mother's friends. Our older brothers are friends." She noticed the book that he'd left on the couch. "I didn't mean to interrupt you."
