Pushing himself up off the ground, Malkin had a demonic snarl painted on his face. Picking up his sword, he started sprinting towards the fiend, feeling his chest repairing itself with remarkable ease, and inhuman speed. "Finish it!? I'm going to break it!" he screamed angrily, dropping his sword down, pointing it before him, ready to thrust through the new crack in the shell. The damn thing was spitting water everywhere, and most of it was bloody. Getting within reach, Malkin lunged his shoulder forward, slamming his long sword through the crack into tender meat, then he heard a crack as the tip of the blade popped through the shell on top. His momentum pushed the turtle forward on the ground, and flipped it up so that the shell was now on the ground and the chest facing up. Panting, Malkin dropped onto the shell, exhausted and hurt. "Finished." he chuckled weakly, passing out from the pain in his chest.
((Finish it. First thing I thought of was Mortal Combat. And yeah, just move Malkin after it's been sealed. I'll wake him in due time.))

Emma hollered as she smashed into the side of the fiend, not out of pain but out of excitement. She was close to the rear of the snake, so she wouldn't be shoving it out of the way of Mathias and Tia. But she would certainly be distracting it. Lifting both rapiers high, very quickly, she slammed them down, giving the fiend a little something to think about. It was light damage, but anyone would become distracted when something was going on behind them in a fight. "That'll keep him occupied." Emma thought as she back-flipped away. She wanted to let the two less experienced gain some experience. Emma would focus on protecting the live-stock for now. Luckily, most of them were trying to run away from the fiend. All of her actions had added up to only a few seconds, so she would be surprised if Mathias didn't land at least a single good hit.
"Good. Then shall we?" Train posed. He really wasn't asking them, it was more of an okay.
Back at the village, where their horses waited patiently, Train started to yell. "We're back! You're accursed fiend has been slain." Train was mocking them of course, but they were unaware. They were greeted with some cheering, a few looks of indifference. Train didn't mind so much, he wanted to leave already. He gestured to Tyrone to throw the head into the middle of the town center. They were standing in it, so it's not like he had to whip it.
The woman from before approached them. "Well done. We've already added the money to one of your horses." Train nodded and glanced over at them, a new pouch was on Enyo's horse. The woman probably didn't trust the men with the money. Train looked at his team, "Stay for a little or get going. I vote to get moving."
Isaac looked at Kiro with a bewildered expression as if he thought Kiro was crazy. He also dropped his pistol, his hands shaking a little as he held his palms up. "Takes all the fun out of it? How's about I destroy your hands and potentially your weapons? What the hell Kiro!?" Isaac said as he waited for Aretha to seal the damn thing. He didn't worry about if she didn't manage it, he'd be dead before anything else could happen. "Damn it..." Isaac cursed as he fought back some nausea.

Enyo looked suspiciously at her horse and the bag which was hanging from it. Enyo's precarious nature got the best of her as she went to check the bag for any explosives of some sort since she didn't entirely trust anyone. She opened the bag and saw it filled with coins. She looked at Tyrone and nodded.
"Ohh, don't sweat the petty details." Kiro gestured to Issac, waving his katana in his right hand as if it were just his own hand to signify it wasn't a big deal. Kiro then sheathed his katanas and and deactivated his Kyto, his piercing red eyes shifting back into their regular blue.

Fayn spun her scythe to her side, sliding the razor-sharp scythe blade back into the wood. Now it was just about as lethal as a stick. A long and thick one, though. The redhead folded her arms, considering Bridget. She sure got bored pretty fast, seeing as they were both close to injuring each other about five seconds ago. "Well..we did duel and that was supposed to curb your boredom..but..apparently that didn't do much." She sighed, shaking her head.

The serpentine fiend reared back again as Mathias sword scored a shallow gouge in its scaled hide, near its eye. Simultaneously it whipped its tail around, trying to swat at the pesky creature that was attempting to hack into it, and scoring little more than sahllow gouges that barely reached through its thick scales, if even that in places. The fiend coiled itself up whipped forwards again, at Mathias again. It opened its mouth wide and aimed to catch the Hunter in its powerful jaws. While the serpent fiend was occupied with his allies Gene had galloped his horse out and around so that he was on the opposite side of the monster from them. He swung his bow off his shoulder again and drew an arrow. He put it to the string, drew back, aimed for a moment, and fired. The shot, which was aimed for the side of the creatures head flew harmlessly by as the giant snake struck at Mathias again. Damn... Gene produced another arrow, set it, and drew back, preparing his next shot.
((Sorry, Kyground, but I feel you were taking a few too many liberties with Emma there. A rapier is a piercing weapon and you were using it in a hacking manner. Also, this fiend has very thick scales that would require a great deal of strength to penetrate. So, to make a long story short: Emma's attack cut the fiend but not deeply.))
"I'd just as soon get back to the Corps." Tyrone said. "Nothing against this place, but I have some serious complaining to do. Besides, there's no place like home." He said with a slight grin betraying his sarcasm.
((Gah... I can't seem to come up with anything with Ty lately...))

(You are correct Stoic, I was. And I apologize. I have my moments, and that must have been one of them. I edited it as well. Though for her, I want to wait for Raolain.)
Train nodded at Tyrone as well. "Very well, and two out votes one, though I suspect it would be unanimous." Train said, not really waiting for Enyo's answer. He was glad that she checked over the money, but it's not like he express it politely, so he did not mention it. "Let's go then before the villagers throw a party or something... They'll want to drag us into it." Train droned as he climbed onto his horse. "Shall we?"
(I leave it up to you two if you want to be ambushed by either villagers or bandits. Otherwise, I'd say it's time for a time-skip.)

Mathias' eyes grew wide as he saw the fiend open it's mouth wide and prepare to strike again. The position of it's mouth wouldn't leave him any room to dodge to either side, and giving ground would not be an option. He tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword, and heard his knuckles crack. His father's voice went through his mind, from a time past when he was younger and was being trained in the ways of combat,"There will be times, my son, when your enemy will leave you with no options to win. Most already know the rule to do what your enemy least expects, and sometimes that may include doing something that would endanger your own life with no expectation of survival... I pray you never come to such a moment, son." Mathias gritted his teeth as the fiend coiled. Despite what his father hoped, Mathias had known he would be presented with a moment like this in his career, he just hadn't been expecting to face it so soon. He cast aside his shield and took his sowrd in a two handed grip and began sprinting towards the serpent, screaming a battle cry at the top of his lungs. He knew it would get a hold of him, but by the Gods it would pay dearly for that purchase. He held the blade high and pointed forward in a swordsman infantry charge, as he had been shown. When the fiend charged, it would taste the steel of his blade before it tasted blood,"VALENTI!!!!"

Tia watched as Mathias threw away his shield. "Oh no, what are you doing?" Tia questioned with much worry that her teammate was making the wrong choice even though she wasn't much sure herself what the best decision was. As Mathias then charged Tia felt she had the need to do the same, following him from behind even though she could easily pass him by with her superior leg strength. If I can guard for Mathias, then his attack should be pretty effective without much loss on our behalf. I hope I can do it... Tia's thoughts flashed.
The fiend's form broke loose as it whipped forward at Mathias with it's fangs dripping venom. The serpent was within range just a moment later, it's mouth wide enough to swallow up both Tia and Mathias. Just as Mathias had intended, his sword made contact with the fiend first. His blade cutting a large gash in center of the snake's lower jaw as it attempted to devour him. Just before preceding forward to swallow Mathias, Tia was by his side and with all her might she tensed up her leg muscles and kicked up high with her right leg, the metal on her boots slamming with great momentum underneath the fiend's jaw causing the fiend's attack to be knocked off course and over Mathias and herself and also causing Mathias' blade to cut more deeply into the snake from underneath as it glided over both of them.
Enyo mounted her horse and then rode up close to Tyrone. "Let's get going. But don't you think it's a little odd they would put together a mission of this sort for the three of us? I may be a rookie, but they yours and my own abilities. We could have done this on our own."

The serpentine fiend narrowly missed its violently protesting meal due to the kick of the female Hunter, Tia. Not that the fiend knew this name, nor cared. It was simply hungry and, now, angry. It angled its body and threw itself forwards, coming down sinuously on the other side of the two Hunters. The rest of its body followed in a line and it recoiled in its new position. Blood dribbled out of its open mouth as it hiss roared at them yet again. And flakes of scales fell away from part of its bottom jaw where the girl had kicked it. It gathered itself, coiling and readying itself and then struck again, this time aiming for the girl. It had barely begun its strike, however, when something flashed in its vision and it barely closed its eyes in time to prevent being blinded. Gene's arrow had struck true this time. Though he hadn't managed to blind the creature he had obviously distracted it with the arrow that was shallowly embedded into the scales of its eyelid. The fiend immediately began rolling on the ground, scraping its head on the dirt until it managed to break off the shaft. It righted itself and opened its eyes once more to see three more enemies standing before it. Powel, Doreta, and Herman had joined the Hunters in the confusion and were ready to take a stand for their homestead. Each stood with their weapons ready, Powel a dueling sword, Doreta a stout gladius, and Herman a set of handaxes. The three of them, together with the Hunters of the Corps., presented a united front of steel and resolve against the massive serpent. "Well, this should make things a little more interesting." Gene muttered to himself as he once again set arrow to string and prepared his next shot.
((Yeah, we can timeskip Team 2 back to the Corps. we'll say it's been about 8 days since they left. It'll still be the same day for Fayn and Bridget. You guys have simply been roleplaying in a day 8 days after the Teams left. We'll call it midafternoon at this point, when Team 2 returns home.))

((My apologizes. My computer decided that it didn't like Gaia just as I had free time. After about five minutes on Gaia, it'd freeze. I think I fixed it though.))
Aretha hesitated for a moment, uncertain she did the first sealing right. Tears formed in her eyes as the gash on her back started to sting and throb. Biting her lip, Aretha pushed back the pain. No spirit attacked her, meaning it was properly sealed. Aretha turned quickly, ignoring the pain that shot up her back, and ran to the other fiend, snatching another paper as she ran by her supply.
Aretha quickly made the seal when she got there, not trusting herself to create it while she ran. As she slapped the paper on to the fiend, it did the same glowing thing it did when she sealed the other one. Upon seeing it, Aretha plopped down on the ground infront of the fiend.
((That works for me.))
Briget was danced from foot to foot. "Hey. Do you know think anyone is coming back today? We should set up alittle welcome for them," she said, getting an evil gleam in her eye.

((You could do what I do and type out your responses in a notepad document, or word or whatever, and then copy and paste them when you're done.))
William simply shook his head at the continuing antics of Kiro and Isaac. He turned his attention to Aretha, who had just sealed the spirit of the larger mantis like fiend. She seemed to lack confidence in her abilities, but he had been watching as she had made the seal, and she knew what she was doing. "Aretha, good job. We should get you back to the town and get you bandaged up. Then Kimiko can finish taking care of that cut when we get home." He turned to his other, squabling, partners. "We'll have to get you fixed up too, Isaac. One of you two grab something from that thing, we're gonna need proof that it was slain." He turned back to Aretha. "Are you going to be able to walk alright? Or do you think you'll want some help?" He asked.

((I'll do that next time....hopefully, there won't be a next time though.))
Aretha's eyes blurred with tears. Her back stung and throbbed, and she could feel some blood dripping down her back. She probably got alot of dirt in i from her rolling around trying to dodge the fiend. Her cheeks were flushed, as the fever she had gotten earlier that morning and had been ignoring came back with a vengance. Aretha had lost her breath from all the running and dodging, and now it was replaced with a cough.
William complimented her and told her that they'd get her bandaged up back in town. Her cheeks grew darker with embarrassment. She was being a burden to them again, after she promised herself that she wouldn't get in their way. So when William asked her if she needed help, Aretha shook her head.
"N-no need. I-I ca-" she started, trying to rise. Her back screamed in pain and her rubbery legs collasped halfway up. She fell to her knees, and tears ran down her face. Aretha started to try to rise again.

s**t. William thought to himself. She got beat up pretty good. And it's our fault too. We're supposed to protect her while she makes the seals. He looked at her more closely, noticing for the first time the seriousness of the wounds on her back. s**t. She's too short to support over one shoulder. And I can't pick her up with her back like that. Unless... William moved around Aretha and knelt down in front of her. "Care for a lift?" He asked and hooked a thumb back over his shoulder, gesturing for her to climb onto his back. "Kiro, Isaac, whichever of you isn't getting the evidence, gather up Aretha's gear. We should get going back as soon as possible."

Aretha's face turned bright red. She was mortified when William knelt infront of her. "I can do it," she said in a rush, trying once more to stand up. The embarrassment addreline in her veins allowed her to shoot up straight, but the dizzy spinning of her head and the still rubbery legs cause to her pretty much fall onto William's back. She almost knocked him over.
Aretha wanted to melt into the ground there and then. With her fever raging, she felt like she just might. Aretha sighed in defeat. "I-I-I think...I'm going...to need that l-lift," she said in a tiny voice.

Fayn suppressed a laugh at the sight of Bridget dancing from foot to foot. "Um..well..I'm not too sure, but I think Team 2 is coming back from their hunt. If I'm not wrong, of course." The girl shrugged, stepping out of the tower. "Coming, Bridget? They should be back about anytime now.." She gestured towards the exit.
