He smiles and laughs a little then speaks to the man

My arm has healed just fine.... all though I really need to get me a prostectic arm if I am ever to duel weild weapons again, which is my prefered weapons style but you know... all in due time

Trance didn't even have time to cast his hand in front of his face to shield his eye. The one thing that went threw his mind in the seeming last moments were of what he could have been. He felt himself being lifted off the ground. He wasn?t expecting any thing to explode and he wasn't expecting to still be able to think, he was sure the blast had killed him the moment he felt his feet leave the ground. He felt his light saber being torn from his hand by the blast. He made an attempt to catch it and when he opened his eyes he was surprised to see a faint blue glow surrounding his entire body.

His instincts in the force alowed him to sense somthing extremnly bad only a fraction of a second before it happened. The force shield had surrounded him the moment the pack sparked with a blinding light just before the plume of the explosion rapidly expanded outward. The action was entirely reflexive and only saved him from the full brunt of the explosion. Small bits of plasma charged shrapnel scraped across his body before the shield was fully raised. The heated plasma had seared the nerve endings closed and he was mercifully spared that bit of pain. The shield protected him from the rest of the shrapnel and the explosion but not from the physical hurt of hitting the ground after being flung almost 200 feet by the force of the blast.

He hit the ground hard on his right side. He attempted to catch himself in the fall, but as soon as his hand hit the ground a sickening wet crunch was heard from his arm, followed by an extremely large amount of pain running up through it and down into his midsection on the right side.

Another wave of pain ran through his body as the rest of him hit the ground. He had conveniently landed on a rock sticking out of the sand. Several of his lower ribs had snapped completely. A silent scream escaped his mouth as the air was knocked completely out of his lungs. His face started to turn blue before he was able to take a breath.

He gagged and choked and wailed in pain has he turned himself over to look at what had happened. By this time the dust had already settled and gave him a clear view of the after math. Pieces of plasteel glowed faintly from the plasma that covered them; other pieces were consumed in red smoldering flames. In the middle of every thing was a grizzly black scorch mark on the sand.

He moaned and held in his thriving screams of pain as he lifted himself to his feet with his one good arm. He was so exhausted after the force shield that he could barely stand. His head was swimming and his vision had already tripled. His ears were ringing form the explosion. His heart skipped several beats as he recalled every vivid moment from only seconds before. Had that shield been any second less and he would have been vaporized. He didn?t realize it right now, but his entire body was one big plasma burn.

"At least I'm better off then you." He said looking at the black mark on the sand. He took one step and fell over out cold. His body was so tired that he couldn?t even take one step. His "adrenalin reserve" had run dry; it had been the only thing keeping him going beyond the power of the force.

It was either the divine powers that be or pure luck that the battle hadn't taken him too far away from the temple. His droid would most likely find him in this condition, and if it wasn't malfunctioning at the moment, it would attempt to find some one, or attempt to heal him its self. It still had some med packs in it stash compartment. Trance could only hope as he fell unconscious in the desert waists for the third time in only a month.

The aftermath wasnt anything to stare at. There werent any body parts, they'd been either incenerated or disolved by the plasma. However two things managed to survive. About three hundred feet away from the ten foot wide and deep blast crator, landed a silver mangled object still resembling a helmet. Two hundred feet away from that landed a gauntlet that hand been melted down to a curved peice of metal that now resembled an ash tray. These were all that remained of JDAT 8.

Several hours passed, the hot sun had set before the little astro-meck had found its master lying out in the desert waists. The malfunctioning saucer head proceeded to role over him several time before coming to the conclusion that he would need a more drastic method of waking up.

A small metal rod extended from the middle of the astro-mechs chasse. The rod sparked with blue electrical energy and hummed softly. The droid prodded its master several times, electrical energy snapping form the rod to Trances flesh. The area began to crack and burn and boil, but to no avail.

The droid went through its memory core, going over thousands of other ways to wake up a humanoid. It stopped on one that had several physical ailments listed along with one answer: ADMINISTER IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION. The droid whistled loudly as though it had no idea that that is what you do to a victim with severe plasma burns and several broken bones.

The droid retracted its stun rod and produced another rod with a tube with a needle on the end. It slowly drove the needle into Trances arm, a hiss was heard from the cylander as the small chemical container inside was opened and its contents released into Trances blood stream. The droid drove several more needles into Trance before he finally regained enough consciousness to stand on his own. The little droid chirped madly at its acomplishment. Trance, for the umpteenth time, made a mental note to have it dismanteled and to buy a new one.

Trance began to walk slowly back to the temple, stumbling every now and then. He was in so much pain. His body hurt far worse than it had when he crashed on the planets surface only three weeks before. He soon became aware that his droid companion was not along side with him on the way back. He could hear its jittering tweets and chirps from some were in the desert waists. It was too dark to see it now. The only thing he could make out was the faint glow of the temples lamps as their light bathed the sand through the open door.

He was about 30 feet from the entrance when he tripped over something. He looked down at his feet and saw his light saber, fully intact, half buried in the sand. He reached over and picked it up before lifting himself of the ground with the arm that wasn't broken. He was perplexed as to how his saber could have survived the blast. No matter, it saved him from the work of having to make a second one.

It took him about half an hour to mase his way to the medical bay in his condition. A nice cool Bacta tank was waiting for him there. He stripped down to his under clothing and hooked himself up to the breather. He climbed up to the top of the tank and with what force powers he could summon he lowered himself in. He could almost instantly feel the healing chemical penetrate his pours and begin its work on his charred body and broken bones.

The little droid rolled in some time later. Trance gazed down at what it had in one of its clawed poll arms; it was grasping what looked to be a battered and melted helm. A T-shaped visor, partially melted, stared back at Trance. Trance nearly burst into an uncontrollable laughter right there in the Bacta tank, in his near skivvies and all. He wanted a trophy of his encounter with this thing, something to prove that he had come out on top, and so he had one.

The little droid could tell its master was happy. It began to cheer wildly and spin in place, beeping its little saucer shaped head off. But, for the existence of it, it couldn't figure out why.

He chuckled and nodded while watching the arm that was cut of by himself done perviously, he figured it was best to do anyways. He focused upon his arm then his speech before he responded as his eyes came back to the others.

Draiman: Dual you say?...not much of those..well those who master it anyways, we have the new recruits who come in, hoping to use two swords at once but never can handle it, not to mention use the double bladed weapons and just make a mess...

He pointed to his hilt were his Saber was, it was a single yet it was also a weapon he carried with him, double or not it was the best thing in a Fight and he did master it freely.

Draiman: I'd perfer the double bladed saber...yet...I can't be given it at this moment until I gain a rank...but I hope thats soon since I want off this planet...hopefully something happens and the Dark Lord sents a unit here and there to take out something..it does get very borning here.

Storms ship coming out of Hyperspace batterd and bruised from Unkown space. Storm felt the cold rush of pwer that Korriban gave off, and ounce again a shiver and a fealing of pleasure ran up his body. Slowly turning to craft Storm set it onto Auto pilot so he could look through a new crystel he had found, sitting down upon the hard floor of the cargo hold he opend one of the contaniers that he has filled with things from his travels in Unkown Space.
The first that came to hand was a new robe. Its very fibres emited a dark pressence, slipping off his old robe Storm slipped this new one on with ease. Moving around Storm had to cheack to make sure he was wearing anything at all! It was so light and as he looked at it the robe tunred a subdued grey, the robe now felt as if it were tailer made for him, thinking this was to do with its owners past Storm thought nothing of it.

Looking round at the other things he had brought and things he had seen, Storm wonderd about modifying the lightsaber for different purposes. The ship by now had enterd the atmosphere, and slowly the craft found its mark. Slowly dropping down Storm still busying himself with his work the crafts landing struts lowerd, and the hiss of the crafts weight pressed down on them.
The crafts landing now complete and the passenger now ready to disembark the ramp lowerd via a panel next to the ramp. The ramp open Storm walked out and the full blast of Korriban hit him.

Standing there refreshed but winded Storm made a point of trying to find the Atra, but he could not find her. She was most likely masking her presence. Turning around Storm delved back into his ship not bothering to close the ramp, he needed to get his Lightsabers.

He looks at the man's saber and grins then pulls out the blaster he got from the old man he killed on tatooine

All I got is this... but what good it'll do me here, besides I hate long range weapons.. I prefer to face my oponents head on and strike fear into them, then see it in their face. I'm hoping to get into the good books of the dark lord, mainly so I can tread here with out much worry... and so that I may learn a thing or two to become stronger. So far I haven't found any one that will teach me any thing, which is why I have been self taught so far.

He examined the Blaster, it seemed to need modifications but still looked like it was able to shoot very well in deed in action. He looked to the other before he blinked a few times as a low hum came from his mouth.

Draiman: I'd say stay out of her way, don't even look or speak to her, best way to show something to grab her attention is by doing something, specialy in action. Thats how I got her attention..and she gave me this saber..

I bit of hope crosses his mind as he looks at the saber again

she gave it to you? ..... hm... first I must train with the force if I am to do any thing to show I am worthy of being sith..but all I can do is lift stuff and levitate it around, none of that force lightning like you can
PostPosted: Sun May 08, 2005 4:58 am

Walking into the Hawk Storm walked briskly into his cabin and grabbed his lightsabers. Standing there he cliped each one to his belt, turning his head around his faces features seaming harder and more stern then usual Storm wanderd out of his craft leaving the ramp open, noone could use his ship without the proper codes anyway.

Turning around and heading outside Storm lowerd kneeled in a half-hearted way untill finally he just let himself fall backwards into a sitting pose his back to the temple and his eyes looking out across the view of the desert. Closing his eyes Storm could feel the Padawans, but three presences were missing; Luke, Neko and that perrin guy. Thinking that maybe Luke had taken them to see whether they were worthy to be his aprentice but he doubted that, Luke was not the kind of guy to take saps like them, hell they could be doped into beliveing the force was somthing you drank!

Now bored Storm wonderd if he should take an Aprentice, judgeing for the idear and full well knowing that he could just kill him if he was too inadept Storm headed into the temple and begin heading the the highest concentration of Initiates.

He poundered about what the other said and thought about it, most other members ore new recruits weren't able to do much, they were violent and only showed much Force powers when angered to do something.

Draiman: Thats a start, she will see that..then she will see how you do under presure or when angered, best bet would not to say much to her, quick words and small sentences will do the trick. If she sees what she likes she'll find you a master..yet you are not able to use the Saber yet..

As he spoke of the Saber he looked down upon his own, it tangled here and there when he moved even from breathing, his eyes soon traced back to the others so he could speak.

Draiman: Finding a Master is hard..I'm finding alot just vanishing...not to mention that the Jedi are here..yet hiding..yet the Dark Lord herself will not do anything about that..I even showed her the certain place they where when I scouted it...

Beep Beep Beep!

Merissa snapped awake from her sleep as the alarm went off. She slipped out of her bunk and proceeded to stretch, loosening all of her muscles, taking a moment to slap her hand against a button underneath the sounding alarm, silencing it. She sighed as she made her way toward the cockpit. She slid into the pilot seat glancing out at the lines of hyperspace travel as she went. She glanced at the instrument readings and noted that there was less than 3 minutes until the reversion to real space. The robot in the chair beside her, beeped questioningly at her. In response she shook her head.

Yes I know that you're not happy about being here, but trust me. I took this bounty for a reason. The bounty is on some pore schutta who decided to try and steal some money from a hutt. And it's dead or alive, so we won't have to imprison him and feed him or something. Those can get annoying especially when they're begging for their lives after they're the ones that got themselves in trouble. But I actually have another reason for coming here.

The Veethree unit turned its head and beeped another interogative. Normally droids wouldn't be so questioning of it's owner. But neither of Merissa's droids had had a memory wipe in awhile. she believed that it gave them some personality. And since she didn't make friends with ease, especially as most people tended to fear her, because of the nature of her occupation.

We're coming here because of some of the rumors i heard from some of my contacts in Dreshdae. Merissa continued, answering her droids next inevitable question before it could be asked.
There are some rumors of force users on Korriban. I'm hoping that there is someone that can provide me a bit clearer view on how to use the force, maybe even complete my training. Having a teacher who couldn't remember what century it is, much less most of the ways to use the force isn't the best way to go. Merissa remarked as thoughts swirled through her head, she wondered if there would be someone down there willing to teach her, help train her. as she wanted to master this ability she had as well.

She glanced around as the beep from the navicomputer indicated that they were ten seconds from realtime conversion, exactly 10 seconds later the starship flicked into realtime above a mostly barren planet. Merissa's reaction was instant. She tensed up staring wide eyed at the planet before her. She had never seen the planet, but she could feel the power of the force there, it called to her, it was powerful and seductive, causing Merissa to smile. Her contacts were right after all.
Take us down Veethree, land at... Glancing at her readings she noted only one space port down there so she shrugged.

Land at the space port, this should make our embezzler easier to find, I just have to find someone matching the holo. And maybe, just maybe Merissa would find a willing teacher down there.

Merissa sighed as her ship settled down on the landing pad. She opened her eyes as she headed from the cockpit to the loading ramp. She walked through the "Deadforce zone" caused by the ysalmiri she kept on board to prevent detection from force sensitives. As she exited the field, heading down the ramp Merissa was practically bouncing. She could feel the energy vibrating on this planet. It was so intoxicating, she could feel the power, and she wanted it. For the first time in her life she truly desired to tap this power and realize her potential.

That'll be 200 credits to dock there Ma'am. A voice said to her from off to her left. She turned to appraise the person, who obviously worked at the dock. Appraising the person who obviously worked at the space port. She smiled at him, she decided that here would be as good a place as any to start looking for her mark.

I'm looking for someone. I was wondering if you could help me. She smiled winsomely at him trying to win him over.
Well Ma'am, this is a planet.... even a crappy one like this has lots of people on it. The spaceport guard replied looking this new arrival up and down, lecherously, taking in the form fitting dark jump suit.

Merissa refrained from changing her expression, being used to being looked up and down. Well he looks like this. Merissa held up a holodisc showing a clear picture of the face of the man. Merissa caught the flash of recognition in his eyes.

Well, I might know the b....him, what do you want him for? You don't seem like you'd be the type to share a bunk with someone like him. He looked her up and down again with that same lecherous grin.

Inwardly Merissa groaned. Outwardly she smiled teasingly at the guard, his answer having made it pretty clear he knew, and didn't like her mark. No, I'm looking to get him back for and relieve him of a few things.

Like his life, and any prescious valuables he may have Merissa thought inwardly. She chuckled and put several credit chips into the guard's hand.
You said the docking fee was 500 credits? Merissa smiled, making it obvious she was bribing the guard.

The guard clanced at his hand quickly counting the credits before smiling at Merissa. Sure, he's become the manager of this port. No one likes the credit pinching b*****d. He's cut off all overtime pay, and all benefits, and pocketing all the credits.

Merissa smiled wider, knowing this was almost certainly her mark. She winked at the guard and nodded, not wanting to isolate him should he become useful later. She then returned to her ship putting in a code, which lifted the ramp and activated the ships security defenses. Once she was certain this was completed she headed off in the port searching the crowd as she went, looking for her mark, knowing that had to be done first.
