James.exe My mom loves Linkin Park, she thinks they're awesome. But she can't believe how their lyrics are never happy. That can be a pain. When I first got into them, I couldn't listen to many songs without getting really sad. I related to too many of them xD

[¡•!]- It's an instant twitch to my parents when I turn on Linkin Park. They hate it because I play it twenty-four seven, it's like torture. So I would just wonder why they hate it so much. -[¡•!]

My parents are permanently stuck on Classic Rock like the The Who, Queen, and The Beatles. They don't like Chester's screaming crying

Hmm, most of you must be high schoolers if your parents don't like you listening to that kind of music. My parents didn't mind if I listened to it as long as I didn't drag them into it or swore. In fact, my mom listens to the same stuff I do these days and my dad dips into it occasionally.
But my mom's pretty much liked Linkin Park since she heard In The End. Not a fan of the rapping in some of them, but otherwise, she's a fan. My dad doesn't care.

My mom's okay with them, my real dad could care less, and my step dad probably doesn't know.

my parents don't mind LP as long as they don't swear (which they don't) I can't listen to jay-z with em though cuz of parental controls on i-Tunes.....My parents are just in the 80's and early 90's rap + soul era cool

My mum hates Linkin Park. My dad doesn't really care, he's the one that told me about em and that's where I started from. Songs they don't like though are Numb, Figure .09, Don't Stay, and Place For My Head. They think my life revolves around the lyrics to those songs, when I relate to basically everyone of their songs.

[pain]TING I'm bored so i will make this so you guys can talk about how your parents or anyone keeps trying to stop you from listening to LP. I find nothing wrong with LP cuz they dont swear and all that crap but parents still hate it. Luckily, my parents dont do this but my friends parents do. Its sad 3nodding . My parents don't care as long as they don't have to hear what music I am listening to... sometimes when I listen to lp my mom or someone in the house will scream to tell me to turn it down if it is too loud, but that rarely happens... I usually just wait to blast lp when I am home alone, or out of the house walking around in the area near my home.

my mom used to sing in weddings. you know those old corny "i will love you forever" songs? she was all about me and my brother staying away from stuff that made you angry, and wanted us to stick with stuff like country, or in that day, pop( gonk gonk ). well, when she first saw the Meteora album in my pants pocket, she snatched it automatically looking fo the warning label. when she couldn't find it, she read the lyrics. she was glad that i wasn't listening to anything that was telling me to shoot my little brother or anything, but she can't listen to the screaming. I tell her her ears are too tender from all the lovey dovey crap she listened to. she's into 3 days grace now, alot of hinder, and a little megadeth, so she's outgrowing it a little.
