Well, I'll collect all the powers together, and put my suggestions for what level each one should be, then I'll send it to you or post it, and then you can make whatever changes you want.

I'm an un-official member of the phantom element, in my mind >.<
Also, I'm a mod, too, so I can help with decorating and stuff.
Yes, go make a new thread. Take bits out of this one.

1- Title and write up of the element, powers.
2- Masters, apprentices, followers.
3- Anything else
4- Reserved (can't think of anything right now... >.<)

And there is a little thingy for you guys to base your topic on!
(remember, I'm not a member of phantom and can't actually decide anything >.<)

And now that I don't have school to get in the way of my computer time, I'll (finally) be writing a list of the powers and levels, and then Phoenix Alchemist, if you have any objections, we'll fix 'em.

But what I was trying to say was that I think we should decide the powers first, ie myself and the other Phantom Master.

Alright. Phoenix Alchemist, this is what I came up with. I copied/ pasted all of the relevant information from the pages that had suggestions for powers into Microsoft Word, and I came up with this::

Beginner Apprentices::
-Blasts/ Orbs of Phantom Energy (Self-explanatory)
-Shaped Phantom Energy (Such as being able to shape it into simple forms like stars, maybe a staff... nothing too weapon-y, but y'know?)
-Phantom Energy Shields (For self-defence. Not terribly strong.)
-Split Personalities (The suggestion Anime suggested that Walk had come up with- where the Phantom-user has an 'evil' side and a 'normal' side. Not totally sure to what this would have an effect, but it sounded interesting.)

Normal Apprentices (Medium Level)::
-Phasing (Being able to phase parts, or, if trained enough, the entire body through solid objects. This takes a lot of practice. Intangibility, in other words.)
-Telepathy (This will be a pretty weak ability- if the opponent has a stronger mind than the Phantom-user, they could block them out. How one would determine who has a stronger mind, I don't know... these are just ideas.)
-Phantom Energy Weapons (Sharp objects. Since this is a skill building on the Blasts, Orbs and Shaped Phantom Energies, this will probably be a pretty strong attack.)
-Telekinesis (Lifting objects with the Phantom power. I know, telekinesis is basically lifting objects with the mind, but I think that would fit, too, but I'm not sure if that's what we're all about. So I'll leave it at lifting objects with Phantom Power for now, until a decision can be made.)

Masters/ Highly Skilled Apprentices::
-Splitting Phantom Power (As Silent suggested, splitting the light and dark apart, using both at the same time, and it will have a large toll on the Phantom-user's stamina. It would take quite a lot of control to split the two, hence why it's a High Apprentice/ Master skill.)
-Portals (To transport the Phantom-user from one place to another. This also takes quite a bit of skill so as one doesn't dismember themselves accidentally... >.<)
-Shapeshifting (Silent suggested this- dis-assembling the molecules and reassembling them in a different form- this could be for either the Phantom-user's actual physical appearance, or for the Phantom energy in itself. Another thing to decide...)
-Astral Projection (Projecting the 'aura' of the Phantom-user to a different place, either visibly or invisibly. This takes a lot of skill and control because you wouldn't want to lose your soul or aura accidentally...)

And of course, all of the lower-level abilities may also be used as one advances through the levels (example: a Master may still use the Split Personality or Phantom Energy Shield, although they'd be more powerful than in their original level.)

This is good. I think the split personality should be moved up to master/high apprentis because when we split in to light and dark we would have two personalities. Other then what I sujested it's really good.

well, I was imagining that the split personalities would be a set-up for splitting powers and such...

But Silent has a good point, too... it would be like a leveling-up thing...
...but I don't see the original point, or the benefit or whatever, of the ability in the first place.

My suggestion: We get rid of it altogether.

Ok if you want to we can get rid of the split thing. The telepathy thing you would only be able to read the mind of the person your tuching or for higher levels you could just be looking at them. Telekinesis thing we would be putting our phantom element around the object so that's how we would lift it and for high levels they could lift people. The shapeshifting thing we would just use our element as a camofloge we wouldn't be able to change in to an animal or anything like that but we could be able to make the outside of our body look like another person but we would still sound the same.

I actually meant splitting apart the particles in the person/object (take more power to do other objects) and re-shaping them as something else... thats what I was thinking when I came up with the idea so... yeah...
