Callista moved on to the next set of runes. Her movement was gracefull and slow, taking time with each rune. "This one is where the strength and endurance are woven together. You can fly thorough this or go slow. You have to go with what you feel is right. I like mine to be slow and deliberate, that way I have more time to pour power into the runes."

"Yes. It builds from personal strength and endurance, so it only makes sense that you do it your way." She snuck a quick glance at his features, noticing for the first time the earring that glittered like the moon against his dark as night body. She flushed immediately and looked down at the ground.

Callista nodded and started the next set. "Last one. Then you can practice all you want." She started the last set of runes.

Callilsta took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Now for the hard part. You have to take it apart just like you put it together. When you get better, you can take it apart faster if you have to, but you have to be able to maintain the same level of strength taking it down that you did when you put it up." She reveresd the last runes slowly.

Callista merged her mind with his to help him. It's ok. Don't panic. Take a deep breath and let your mind float back to the same level as it was when you made the signs. She sifted through her own mind and found the right place, then pointed Valzar in the right direction in his own. She slowly did the runes again in reverse, taking her time like she did before.

Valzar suddenly experienced a measure of peace, feeling more at ease and more confident as Callista's mind merged with his, now easily following the motions as they were woven in the air.

Callista smiled. "Good job. Can you undo the last ones?" She reversed them easily, still merged with Valzar, sending him the images in his head.

He was easily able to follow her instructions while they were merged. "This makes things so much simpler."

"Of course it does. It helps when you can see things from the teacher's point of view." She smiled. "You're doing really well with all of this." She looked up at him adoringly.
