((Seeing that I'll be back sooner than expected, I guess I shall start a post and continue up on that until the entire group catches up with Jason.))
Jason stood at the bottom of a mountain, gazing not at the summit, but at the village at its base. His face became emotionless as thoughts started to swarm his mind. His eyes watched as children ran among the streets and the parents did their daily chores, much like when he used to live there. In the distance, he saw his house where his father was chopping wood in the front yard where his mother was most likely cooking food for them both.
"So... This is your hometown?" "Ya..." "A bit chilly isn't it?" "It has always been like this... Even before that day." "Heh, to think those who had been banished from their home would never come back... But here you are in all your shame." "They never said I couldn't visit..." "I'm pretty sure it's covered in the definition of 'Banish.'" "Go eat some yellow snow. It tastes just like lemon." "That was so funny I forgot to laugh. So, why did you come here anyways?" "Don't know... Probably home sick..." "You don't look the type." "Of course not. I have a reputation to uphold." "As if you have a social life..." "Look who's talking. Anyways, why start talking to me now? I don't think you started to get lonely, did you?" "Heh. Probably... Anyways, I guess your going to be busy soon so I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing."
With that, the voice disappeared again from his mind and Jason sighed. He pulled off the hood and then started through the gate. All eyes were on him now, recognizing him by his hair style and eyes which hadn't changed since then. Men slipped into their homes as mothers grabbed their children and pulling them away as Jason continued through the snow, his cloak hiding his entire body minus the head. As he reached the edge of his families property, his father stood there with his ax slung over his shoulder.
"What are you doing here, monster." Jason twitched hearing that. He had at least expected a hello with that comment... "I thought that we made it clear to you that you'd never return again you demon." "Where's mother?" "Dead." "Then who is that," asked Jason as he pointed towards the door. A woman stood there with a hand up to her chest, her eyes wide with fear and mouth slightly open.
"She's your stepmother. What of it," asked Jason's father with a growing anger. "... What did you do to mother..." "I've done noth~" "TELL ME!" The woman gasped as she backed up. After a few seconds, she ran into the house as the other village men started walking out with bows and crossbows, all loaded and directed at Jason. "She was obviously a devil spawn, boy, so we let her rest. Now, leave or you will die."
Jason just stood there, aware of the danger behind him but he did not look. He was in a dead lock stare with his father that seemed to last for an eternity before a bolt shot out of the doorway of his house and lodged itself into Jason's right shoulder. Soon later, the step mother emerged with the crossbow, already loading it with another bolt. Jason grimaced at the pain but didn't back down as he grabbed the bolt and pulled it out, letting blood run freely down his right arm and side. "You son of a *****, mother didn't do this to me... A damn dragon did..." Jason kept his eyes upon his father, also watching the other men though the shine of his eyes waiting for a response.

((Well know one said you guys had to stand around and wait, you could have had your characters converse with one another or SOMETHING xp . I've been busy.....worrying....bah, anyways I need a distraction so hopefully this'll do the trick...))
((........oh, and Melody, since you didn't read closely enough, your character received a letter from Ovan, the angel that started this quest. As to what the letter said to get your character to join, come up with that on your own, but it'd probably sound sorta sagely and wise, ect ect))
Ramiel sighed slightly as he jumped out of the tree "Come on, the Fire Orb's next. We need to head to the Osteria Mountain Range (Pronounced 'AWE-steer-E-uh'). I'll tell you the details when we get there, anyways be ready for a long walk north, and I suggest you prepare some warm cloths" He said before he began walking off through the forest. He snorted slightly, he hated snow, and the cold that came with it, even if it DID take a blizzard to make him shiver.
Sometimes he thought Ovan had a sick sense of humor. It would seem that by the time this was over they'd have visited the birthplace of all that traveled in this group, revealing tales best left forgotten by those that played a part in them.
Falon followed behind Ramiel quietly. Their eye's met for a tenth of a second and a brief smirk crossed Falon's lips. It was like words had passed from the two but gone unheard. What was the connection between these two?
Azurai continued to follow unseen by all. For reasons unknown even magic wasn't able to detect his presence. Whatever the reason it was assured Azurai's location wouldn't be given away until he wanted it to.

Gia would follow after Ramiel. Silence had befallen her, which probably came as eerie. Her wings would be what helped her to move as she flew above him. Her hands were digging through a bag she carried as she placed a cloak over her shoulders. She made good of dodging the tree branches as she flew. She couldn’t chance getting hurt again and her injuries previous go unhealed.

Lilith's fox ears drooped over her eyes, they perked up and she rubbed her eyes, removing the chilled blanket from where se lay she folded it and put it in her pack, a small letter slipped and fell from it, she picked it up and slid it open with her fingers and pulled it out, it seemed important. " What's this?" She said to herself before she began to read, it was something that rather interested her, her favorite thing, and adventure. Lilith smiled. folding the letter into the square she stood up and began to walk.

Sintariun looked to Zaid as he translated for her and she nodded as she turned toward Ramiel and the others as they walked behind him. Following suit, the elf was side by side with Zaid with him never missing a beat. Didn't he ever get bored with trying to be perfect. The Elves were known for their elegance and grace, she supposed they were the personification of perfection but still what was the point?
Zaid watched Sintariun's expression and chuckled recognizing a few. When she glanced up, the elf said in their tongue, "What are you thinking about now? I can tell by how you squint your eyes at times as if to focus on a thought." Sintariun laughed lightly but refused to say. Zaid loved the sound of her laugh and then thought on something, where was Azurai....he had a bone to pick with the rogue.

Sari let out a small groan. She hated the cold, plus she didn’t have any clothes to wear for the mountains. When she thought about further though, she could always make a cloak out of her tattered close and she could use dark matter to form clothing. She followed Ramiel, choosing to move the disk she was sitting on rather than walking. She scanned over the members of the group to make sure everyone was there when she saw the male elf that she had tried to help last night. She sped up the pace of the disk until he was beside the elf, and then she matched his. She made the disk ascend until she was eyelevel with elf as well, because even though she had gotten used to the way people treated her because of her appearance, she still hated having to look up at people.
“I remember you from the party last night; you were being mobbed by girl. I tried to help by sending those little black blobs after them, but that didn’t seem to work. I thought they’d react how most humans do and treat them like vermin, but despite the fact I’m an elf I don’t know much about elves, so it’s no surprise I was wrong.” Sari said, looking over at the elven man, “Anyway, I’m Sari.”

[[well i did try to converse with others but either i go ignored or nobody seems to be reading my posts either way i may just be a little paranoid]]
Alwyn went along with the others she too was not well equiped for winter weather but she would make due she did have some cloth in her bag that she could sew together to make some outer garment she probably had enough to make a few others if she was care ful enough. "im not really fond of snow but i do want to get that orb and see what else we can see, i want to see what other missions we will have to do to obtain these orbs." she said

Zen gave a deep sigh. "A fire orb in the north? Who's idea was that?" he said to himself. Him and the cold did not mix. Ever. Also, he hadn't really experienced much cold during his lifetime. The few times that he had, it didn't go well. He had, however, thought about the chance of them going somewhere cold. He had brought several layers of warm clothing for just the occasion. But even though he was human on the outside right now, he still had the body functions of a reptile. Cold usually meant the slowing down of the body in preperation for hibernation, which he didn't do. But his body still would slow down. He'd have to do his best to stay warm. But despite the problems he was thinking of, he followed the group. He wasn't going to stop with this adventure just because of the weather they might experience.

Tori jumped up to her feet and followed the group, once again. She noticed that there were a few new members that they must have picked up at their stop. The halfling deeply inhaled. The traveling felt much better than before now that she had a chance to relax. When Ramiel mentioned cold weather she sighed. She didn't mind the cold much but she didn't like wearing the extra clothing. Tori looked over at Alwyn as she heard her talk and smiled. " Yeah, I bet it'll get very interesting, well even more interesting then it is now. Who knows what we'll run into next." she said shifting her pack on her shoulders. Even though Tori had been traveling for the past years, she still hadn't seen much of the land. So, she was looking forward to what would come next in this adventure.

Falon laughed, his voice ringing deep and strong "You didn't get what you were expecting because of race, but because you forgot your in the Magic Capital for the Elven people. Everyone there is a mage, sorcerer or mancer of some type" He said, looking to Sari. "Falon Forelorn" He said, giving a slight bow and handing her a strange blue flower that seemed to just appear in his hand "Sage and scholar" He said with smiling slightly.
