Lag stood rigid in a fear induced stupor. Slowly, however, he began to relax. Something about the tone of Kasuke's voice was reassuring. Lag loosened slowly as Kasuke continued to talk directly into his eyes. Lag smirked and looked down at his feet when Kasuke had finished talking. "Cruelty and pain.. Only makes a man stronger" He said to himself, rising his head in the process, "I won't disappoint you, Mom and Dad. I will become stronger than any lackey you ever hired. I will become strong- stronger than any criminal of this village" He smiled to Kasuke, who had turned back to the rest of the crowd. A feeling of great justice sweltered into Lag's heart. He nodded and pushed himself through the villagers, off towards the housing district.

((Exit to Housing District. Oh yeah, and would you mind telling me when tomorrow morning is? xD ))

15+ 0 +50-3= 62 (yea i think i heard you from a rooftop?)

Raubahns ears pricked at the words of the kage and the child below."the Otokage is taking students.....lets go see if he can take my failure of kin as a student." Raubahn thought as he burst into blue flames and disapeared and almost instantaneously a blue firestorm errupted behind the kage as the child ran away."Kasuke........If i may borrow a moment..." The Anzan elder stated as he dipped his head for a second..a minor attempt at a bow. "I over heard you and the child speaking...and i was wondering...if you could take a...kinsman....of mine under the same teaching as that young one....he is in the same predicament...no teacher...and no academy to train him." The Anzan thought he had gotten the message..afterall.....it was a simple request.

Kasuke stepped back quickly, unaccustomed to the Anzan's appearance. His hair flipped back and his robe whirled back, the heat singing his cheeks, where a smile formed. "You've certainly borrowed my attention, as well as a few of the villagers tolerance for spontaneous combustion." the man flicked his eyes behind the man where grown men had set to flailing and yelling like children, before freezing with wide-eyes to stare at the newly appeared sennin. Once they settled down and stepped away Kasuke returned his attention to Raubahn.

Kasuke let his eyes dip to the ground as he pondered what Raubahn had requested. Surely he would do it, he was happy to give a hand and felt it was a responsibility, yet he couldn't be running an academy in his private garden. If the word got out he might be in trouble. *sigh* he let out a small sigh with a smile before returning to Raubahn's gaze. "I would be honored to take in an Anzan. Tell them to be at my office tomorrow morning." He to made a small customary bow(really just a dip of his chin) before offering his hand out for a shake. "By the way, great job defending the village today."

Raubahns eyes danced the black and white predatorial markings seeming to copy the mans face into memory much like a computer scanner."I am honored to have an Anzan tutored by your greatness." The man stated nodding."'Tis my clans cursed bound honor to serve others in wars...sadly it stems from our roots as a people to lend our services in battle." Raubahn stated the mans eyes seeminglesly unfazed by his clans miserly and bloodfilled past.Raubahn grasped Kasuke's hand in a gracious handshake and then turned to the mountains as if feeling his young kinsmen there."I shall go inform my kinsmen right away....good day...Kasuke." He said his attention flicking towards a man eyeing him quite fearfully the Anzan just simply smirked underneath his traditional face covering his black and white predator eyes looming over their target but they soon disapeared as the man disapeared in a dance of small flame sprites seeminglessly floating away towards the forest at the base of Mt. Oto.

Toshi looked around as he sighed and slowly walked forward. His thoughts slowly consumed him as his head bows and his feet kept moving. "I suppose I should go to the center of town and ask where the Otokage's office is. I'm bound to find something there. I mean, it's the center of the town. How can't I find someone who knows where the Otokage's office is?

He stopped suddenly and looked around in awe. The city was alive with activity of which he has never seen in Okazai. "This place is amazing. No wonder why he couldn't ever visit anymore. This place must take a lot of time and energy to keep running in perfect shape." He looks around and Noticed signs of a battle. A destroyed building here and there.

Shock coursed through his body as he saw the rubble. "How could this have happened? Who would attack us? Why? There was defenseless people here." His shock changes to anger as his body trembles unable to hold back his hate. The wind around him started to whip violently, pulling up a cloud of dust around him. He looked at the dust cloud taking form and the murmuring between a few people. He centered himself then started taking deep breaths to calm himself.

"It helps no one to be angry right now. I just have to find him so I can begin my training. Once all his rage subsided he headed over to one of the people who hadn't seen the little fit of anger. Embarrassed he slowly looked up at the woman who was shopping. "Umm. Excuse me miss. Can you tell me where the Otokage's office is?" He bows his head in respect as he waits for her reply.

The woman jumped and turned around quickly. When she turned around there stood a little boy in all black with an armless vest without a shirt. He stood toward her with his head bowed. She smiled a small smile and pointed towards the north end of the town. "Keep following this road and you will reach the Kage's office. You can't miss it."

Toshi was shocked at how smooth and silky her voice was. "She must be a singer." He nodded and took off toward the north as she had said. He looked over his shoulder and waved farewell. He almost trips over his own feet in the process and decided it was better just to get to the office before any injuries had struck him. With that decided he started running faster toward his goal.

Our two ANBU friends stood in the middle of the street having patrolled the city all night making sure it was secured while the city partied they hd patroled the city atleast 10 times before the sun rose but then they realized now after the partying had died down and the city was calm that they hadnt slept all night. The two ANBU stared at each other their kitsune masks not showing their tired faces lazily seeming to think of their homes and beds. Shisui began to sigh as he stared towards his ANBU counterpart Shif and the latter did the same. They both began to walk towards their homes but as they passed the local church. he two wouldnt be bothered with the foreign religions place of worship but something peculiar cought their attention. Once they stopped a man lifted his head and blinked at the two "Hello..." the man stated as he nodded to the two ANBU and they replied the same as the man followed their eyes. "You two must be wondering why this group of artifacts are sitting here by the church." the man stated moving his hands towards the pile of silver and gold."We shall be puting our acolyte on his trials for popalship." the man stated."however...we have been receiving threats from an anonymous group because of our minestry." the man stated." we have put in a request for shinobi protection up at the kage's pffice...say maybe you can assist us!" the man stated as the ANBU glanced at each other before returning to the man."we shall check with our kage....then we will return to you as soon as we hear the word." Shisui stated as they turned to walk towards the kage's office and the breeze picked up and the two where gone."Heathens...." The man stated as he turned and walked into the church building.

Once Toshi left the building his running slowed to a walk. He was still in amazement of how big this place was comparative to Okazai village. As he walked down the road he noticed everything around him. The small stalls, the old buildings next to some new ones.

"Even though the attack on Otogakure that we heard of in Okazai was a year or two ago some of these damages look recent. Even now when cousin is smiling. What has he given up to protect this place? Or for that fact what has everyone given up? This village has given a lot. Now it's my turn. I wont let any of them get hurt.... I don't want anyone to get hurt." He slowly came upon the center of the town.

The wind drifted sweet scents of food and drinks. His thoughts drifted off to when he was at home. His mother always used to make the most delicious meals for him. He snapped back from his memories as the sound of life rang through. The sound of happiness. People talking, smiling, laughing. How long till that would change to screaming and crying?

His feet lead him down a road to his left. As the noise simmered down to a dull roar his attentions were back on the buildings around him. He wondered how long it took to build this village up to its peak, or if it is even at its peak yet. The buildings faded as he came upon the entrance to the garden.

Toshi smiled as he walked along the road. He was constantly looking at something, someone. He loved the city. Everyone was so nice so far. He kept walking and while he did so he outstretched his fingers and ran them along the buildings as he passed. The texture was rough but in a way smooth. It tickled his fingers as he ran faster and faster. Wind slowly picking up behind him. His laughter echoed down the alleys in between the buildings as he ran past. He saw the town center straight in front of him. The people were out shopping and commuting. "Is this place ever empty?" His smile grew as he ran through the market toward Kasuke office. A building grew in the distance the closer he came. The Otokage's building. He ran toward the gate.

(exit Kasuke's office.)

The bustling city streets aloud with merchants beckoning potential buyers to their storefronts and idle chatter between villagers as a breeze rolled through the city swirling around the church building in its center two blurrs materialized at the buildings front just before the steps. Shock appeared on the nearby Acolytes face as the two materialized. the missionary whispered something underneath his breath that the Kenkomishi of the group couldve easily heard but he chose to ignore it.As the two ANBU walked into the church building more subtle whispering arose from the church goers inside before they found the missionary that had requested then."Ah.......the saviours hath returnded to the holy land." The missionary stated nodding to both of them."So.....shall I go tell my brothers the news of your help?" The missionary stated questioningly towards the two."Yes...our kage has agreed to let us personally deploy for this mission."Shisui stated nodding to the missionary."Then i shalt go findeth the Acolyte and his pilgrimaje shall begineth." The missionary stated bowing to the ANBU and retreating from them for a few minutes before returning with a young cleanly looking young man."Allo......I am Jean Paul Sigfried de IV" The young man stated bowing to the two ANBU. The Anzan and KEnkomishi both nodded to the young man each having thoughts too personal to be explained in writing."My pilgrimage is to be held upon the nearby mountain monustary...I shall pray there for the night and meditate upon the universe and try to communicate with out god." The Acolyte stated eagerly motioning along with his words to communicate his meaning....wich irritated Shif to no end....but it was a mission."Shall we move along then?" Shisui stated shifting so that the Acolyte could move through to the door and onward towards the monustary.

[FROM TRAINING AREA(DOJO)

In the hopes that Kasuke could find him something to do, Hato had started his short trek through the village towards his office. From the dojo, which was on the west side of the village, he had to take the first few lefts available to him to get to the north Kage's Office. Walking through the all-too familiar village now, he walked past the bar, thinking about stopping there for a moment to chat with Anata, but he thought better of it and didn't really want to cloud his mind with the drink. He kept walking, and saw the Kage's office towering in front of him. Next to it, much less grand and big than the neighboring office, was the village weapon shop.

*Hmm, I was about to go on a mission, and all I have is my shuriken and a few bombs.. maybe I should go in and see what Sara has in stock, I might just be needing it in a few days time.*

He changed the angle of his walk slightly and was now marching towards the infamous shop that Sara Araiki had now tended for a few years, his amazing weapons on the lips of everybody who had ever visited him and seen him smith or use a weapon.

*Well I'm glad that I've never been on the receiving end on one his his blades, and I hope to keep it that way.*

As Hato drew closer to the shop, he was curious as to why he didn't hear anything from inside the store. The usual bustle of Sara was unusually quiet today, but trying not to worry so much, Hato strode up to the door and walked in.

[CONTINUED IN OTOGAKURE WEAPON SHOP]

[LEAVING OTOGAKURE WEAPON SHOP]

Hato walked out of Sara's shop and headed back on the dirt road towards the housing district. He never looked forward to going back to his little apartment, because that always meant that the day was over and he had nothing else to do except go home for perhaps a few small exercises, then sleep until the next day. He slowly made his way through the stalls of the marketplace and found his way to the aparments he called home. He walked up a few steps and opened the door.

[CONTINUED IN [THE HOUSING DISTRICT]

[LEAVING THE HOUSING DISTRICT]

Hato woke up with his hair in a mess and his arms sore from all the shuriken throwing he had been doing. He got up off his comfortable bed and walked out the front door to face the dazzlingly bright sun as he realized he had probably just woken up mid-afternoon.

*Wow I really have to watch how long I sleep..*

Hato remembered that he had ordered his custom naginata from Sara just yesterday and quickly ran back inside to grab the money he owed, and excitedly picked up his feet and walked towards his new destination for the day.

[CONTINUED IN OTOGAKURE WEAPON SHOP]

[LEAVING OTOGAKURE WEAPON SHOP]

The sun beat down on Hato immediately after his leaving the weapon shop, and he knew that it was time to start a mission with his new weapon to break it in. He changed direction to his right and walked off towards the Kage's office to find something to do for himself. He tried to think of any rumors he had heard about anything that could cause some excitement in the village, but he just wasn't sure.

*I suppose Kasuke will just have to assign me something when I get there.*

Dash kicked a rock in the street, his orange sandals lighting up next to the dark street. His hands lay in his back pocket and his head hung down to shield his eyes from the sun setting over the rice-fields just in front of him. He made his way to the corner of the street, intending to take a leisurely walk back to his apartment to get dressed before the mission.

Tiny feet clicked harshly behind him on the street and the man turned slowly upward. The blood-red head bobbing up and down, made Dash sigh. He wanted to have a break from these kids for a while.

"Dash-sensei! Do you have my Aian Nakkurru?" The small boy was flustered and out of breath as he came to a stop in front of the jounin, his small face filled with worry. He smiled, this was his own fault!

"Ha, yeah. Sorry, I forgot to give them back." Dash pulled the blades from his back pocket, rolled the metal in his fingers and chipped dried blood off of them. Raine's eyes glittered like shooting stars, and his whole body relaxed. "These, are really nice. Where did you get them?" He handed the blades back to the boy, starting to walk and gesturing for Raine to follow.

The small boy snatched them and wrapped his fingers in the familiar metal. "Thanks." He stepped forward with Dash, his eyes flickering in the awkwardness of the moment. "Well, um. I got them in Sunagakure, when I went to train with my clan leader Tsuyosa-senpai." He stepped up next to the man, his fingers jittering in the blades. They were heading up to the housing district.

Toshi opened the book to some higher level Kuton jutsu and just stared at the page while he walked down the street. He decided just to skip that page and go to another. Then the sounds of the night life caught his attention. That there was this many people out at night still was a whole new concept for Toshi. He stood there gawking at the large neon lights and the paper lights mixing. The night life seemed so much more alive to him. So much more fun and interesting. The smells of the food alone could ensnare him in a heartbeat.

Someone bumped Toshi out of his trance and then shook his head to clear out the rest of the daze. he opened the page and started to read all about the hand seals. Each one he saw a picture and what they were supposed to do. Toshi also learned that the hand sign he was trying to copy and apparently failed at was supposed to be the snake. He guess that is why he was so horrible at doing it. Toshi smiled and continued reading his book.

Toshi turned it to another hight level jutsu of which he had no idea how to even comprehend it. Toshi sighed and slipped the book gently into the bag for now and ran to the the center market. Once there he looked for signs that he remembered were towards the Kage's office. Once he found those signs he took off and headed towards the Kage building. How he didn't know where it was by now is a complete mystery to him. He sighed as his speed slowed and put a hand on a door the the building. He gently pushed the door and went inside.

Raine hopped quickly and quietly over the roof tops his dress shoes clipping over the cement. He remembered once playing a game with a girl he liked out here. It was the first time he had ever jumped on building tops, also the first time he cracked open his head. The boy laughed to himself. There was no one in the streets below him and only a few lights speckling the streets. He judged it was about 1 in the morning by now.

Raine was making his way to the building where he knew the village kept petty criminals. It was a small jail near the kage's office. He was heading for the man named Kossori, who had been captured after trying to steal the amethyst statue back. It had been rightfully his, Raine nodded his head. He wouldn't have stolen it otherwise.

The boy clipped to a stop just next to the jail. A small light was on through the window. No doubt he would have to sneak in.
