I absolutely adore the book, which is why I am so excited about seeing it. From the preveiws, it looks like they stuck to the book very nicely^^

Just read an article. Apparently the author of that series was quoted as saying the books are about killing God, following the ideas of Nietzsche.

yea... You don't know how depressed I was to hear that.
Apparently the third book is a couple kids who go (and succeed) to kill God so they can do whatever they want

Interesting. I thought it was only going to be one book...so one good movie. So, How many more movies will they make? Oo prolly lots of years of waiting will happen.

I would guess that they would make all of the books into movies, But I could be wrong. Hollywood Has alway been unpredictable.

like they should have had like a sub title or something that went like: The Golden Compass: GODDAMN!!!!

I was pissed about the ending... I hated the ending too. D:< I can't even remember what I liked about the movie anymore because I hated the ending so much. Ooo but I really can't wait to see Juno this Friday, it looks good.
