just curious... is your definition of yaoi... boy boy? i've heard a few different definitions of it. and i think most artist have done that or at least suggested it at one time. my friend saji's been showing me all sort of examples in dc comics (dc meaning superman, batman etc
not detective conan the one i always talk about) so even the big wigs do.
i've never been able to write a fanfic. there are a lot of restrictions with the characters etc. but i do enjoy the occassional fanart... but that's as wild and crazy as i get....
nihongo ga wakarimasuka? Ee, sukoshii wakarimasu. It's not hard to write fan fiction if you know the characters and plot well enough - this makes it much easier to write for something like Chrono Trigger than for, say, Star Wars. Less canon to deal with.
The true definition of 'yaoi' is 'male/male hentai' or 'male/male lemon with anime characters.' I tend to use the word as a catchall term for any male/male stuff, even though the soft-fluffy-not-even-R-rated ones are 'shounen-ai' and the not-anime ones are 'slash' so I use it incorrectly most of the time. 'Slash' is also a verb, as in 'to slash this guy with that other dude,' and can be applied to any situation. The female versions of these words are 'yuri,' 'shoujo-ai,' and 'femslash' respectively. 'Hentai' refers to any explicit anime or manga, 'lemon' refers to any explicit fan fiction.
So what I drew would technically be both yaoi and slash, since it's male Star Wars characters drawn anime-style, and what I'm *trying* to write but stuck halfway through is a lemon, but none of the other things.
...and suddenly I realize why the other people in the Sci-fi People Of Clark (SPOC) described me as the person to go to when you want to know about Internet debauchery...
