A City Of Fools So basically, he got demoted because he's blunt and to the point? That's reasonable. Oh wait.... No it's not. You people are idiots. He was the only one of you that actually did s**t as far as I ever saw. ********, I had a better opinion of him than anyone else on crew. If you thought he was an a** to you, then you either deserved it or didn't get your way and got all pissy. no...blunt and to the point is one thing....but he lacks tact... I'm blunt when i say your uneducated, one sided view on this subject is totally asinine. Its blunt and to the point that i think you're pathetic for playing yes man to him... In crew, and as crew, we need to say "Yes, that's messed up...this is why, lets try to work it out here..." I am blunt in my duties when talking to people....but i dont just say that's ******** stupid and be done with it...I try to help the person. If they reject my offer to help, I leave it at that. DG has a bad habit of just coming off as too blunt.

It was closer to an insult, no matter how incorrect it was. Yes man? I feel an injustice has been done. I couldn't give two shits whether or not DG likes me more or less for it. But you didn't try to work it out with DG, did you? If it gets that kind of response, it is most likely beyond repair. Too blunt gets s**t done. Pussyfooting around every little issue does nothing. I'm so uneducated I just can't stand it. ;D

DWS posted today for the first time in 3 weeks. I know he has had problems but still its BS. Since DG is clearly the second most active person even given his extenuating circumstances.. this really is crap. So he tells people what he thinks? IF people cant deal with that then they need to grow the hell up. seriously. I would prefer someone to explain to me what is wrong with my things in the logical manner he does than have Wulf explain it to me with his complete and total incoherent babble. Also, he does point out ways to improve. He doesnt just say "No," Like I have seen others do. DG contributed alot to this guild, he worked hard and he did his job well. Just like Urban has, and Ro, and you and Jacks. At least he doesnt try and push things through like Wulf did with Rahenion just to get his own way. He does things by the book, and watches out for OP creations which is more than I can say for some other crew members given the way things are just approved. Isis is even guilty of passing OP things. He works with anyone who asks, willingly nerfing his things, creating stuff for other people, also he has created one bloodline, plus the humans (which I dont really count) and has helped create and/or created 3 classes that I can tell. The only people I have really see him be tactless towards are Wulf and Kage. Lets face it, It's deserved. Even you are tactles towards wulf, since thats what we are calling it here. As if "Your a wee bit tactless" is even a legitimate reason given all he has done for Rykros... Given that he doesnt try to offend people in his capacity as crew, he just points out what is wrong. Which is what he is meant to do! He gives the facts and makes suggestions... Really though, I think you made a mistake here.

Wulf has two things to say to all this.
1. DG is a smart guy, he wants make sure things don't get too strong and he will help you with that. He has made and help fix many things as well Yes I am a bit annoyed by his dogging lately but this man is good for the guild. I'm going to be first(or thrid in this case xD) to say YES HE IS REALLY BLUNT but hell we all need to be. I am trying to work with that an understand that so I don't blow like I did last time. Though his worthless crew comment should convice me otherwise I'm going to say keep his blunt a**

Well then, Crew, who was offended by DG? The members, who you are supposed to be working for, or yourselves? Because everyone else seems to think he's the best damn mod we had.

I've called him worthless, and compared him to a handicapped relative that we are forced to work with and be nice to, yet he backs me up?
Why? Probably because as mean as I am to him I am also nice and help him get things approved. I haven't ever blatantly denied anything that was within reason. I've never not given reasons for my denial of customs either, anyone who says otherwise is laying out their a**.

Everyone, drop it. Rant all you want, it won't change a thing.
DG, wasn't the best crew, but he was far from the worst.
Sure, he was often blunt, but his inability to change that was his downfall.
I don't agree with the changes happening currently, my hands are tied though.
Especially among the crew.
