[Sandkit said. She lifted her head, her soft hazel eyes rested on Firekits. ]
"Brother, you say that you were left alone, but this is not true. You have a loving mother, A strong and kind father, A brother that loves you, regardless of what he says. You have so many cousins, who care for you and want to see your smile. And you have a sister, who cares for you. Who wants to protect you. Who will let her own blood spill before yours does. "

[Sandkit squeeled, her head dizzy when her brother got off of her. Her hazel eyes glanced sideways. She saw Smokekit and Lostkit covered in...blood. A gasp escaped Sandkit. ]
"Brother... should'nt we go help dear cousin?"

(Smokekit paused, looking at his mother whom at first rushed over to greet him, then stopped with a haunted expression. He noticed cats who offered to help and wobbled over, plastering himself against his dead brother's corpse, their blood running together.) "NO! Nobody's allowed to help me or big brother! His warrior-ness is going to wear off! We promised to become warriors together!" (Smokekit's eyes brimmed with sad tears.) "We'll be warriors soon. We'll be warriors soon. We'll be warriors soon. We'll be warriors soon. We'll be warriors soon. We'll be warriors soon. We'll be warriors soon. We'll be warriors soon." (Smokekit mewed, clicking like a broken record, repeating the same phrase again and again. Spadestripe frowned, her eyes narrowing a bit. She trudged forwards and picked up Smokekit, who still uttered the same phrase as he was covered in a grotesque mix of his and Lostkit's blood. He floundered about in Spadestripe's grasp, but she gave a fierce hiss so to signal for him not to move.) "Don't you move a muscle, Smokekit." (Smokekit kept his struggling to a minimum of small shivers. Spadestripe carried him to a corner of camp near the medicine cat's den and stared daggers at him. Smokekit looked up at her.) Momma's never been like this. "How long have you and Lostkit been planning this- this STUPID thing?!" (Smokekit shrank back.) "He said he wanted to do it earlier today." (Spadestripe leaned forwards.) "Do you have ANY earthly idea what could have happened to you?!" (Smokekit looked off, feeling guilty.) "No..." (Spadestripe sighed, leaning back a bit.)"Tell me, Smokekit...what were you two trying to do?" (Smokekit swallowed his fear as best he could.) "Lostkit had this dream that we rescued Galestar and beat the eagles. He said it means that we could become apprentices if we rescue Galestar." (Spadestripe turned her head a bit.)"Smokekit, did I ever tell you that it's a code for EVERY kit to wait SIX MOONS before they can become apprentices?"(Smokekit shook his head.) "That, you did not." (Spadestripe glared off at the sky as if she were having a staredown with it.) "You two couldn't have become warriors, let alone apprentices even if you wanted to...but Smokekit, did you even CONSIDER Pebbleheart's warning about staying in camp?" (Smokekit nodded.) "I tried to tell him, I really did, but-""He's DEAD now!" (Smokekit paused as Spadestripe cast a look of fury on her kit.)"We can't just say 'oopsies' on this one! He's DEAD! You didn't listen to her! Pebbleheart SPECIFICALLY warned that none of you should be out of camp at all during these dangerous times! She's the dominating cat, we must obey her word right now! Get your mind set straight, Smokekit!" (Smokekit could feel his pelt burning as he shrank back even more.) "I'll try." (Spadestripe huffed, her bristled fur making her look huge compared to her tiny offspring.) "TRYING is not enough! You are in SO much trouble! I'll let Pebbleheart decide your fate- but let me tell you one thing Smokekit- you'll have to wait a sure heck of a long time before you even can go to the fresh-kill pile!" (Spadestripe got up, attempting to try and go from bad cat to good.) "You don't even know how to fight yet...Your brother died bravely...but please, please Smokekit...don't let anything happen to you or Fallingkit...no more of this..." Momma's sad. Maybe I should try to cheer her up. (Smokekit put out his paw slowly to place it atop hers, like he had seen toms do to comfort their mates. Spadestripe shifted away before he could and picked him up, taking him into Iceears' den. She sat next to him, her fur fluffed out in anger.) Not a good time, I guess. Maybe momma just doesn't like me. My friends still like me though, don't they? (The question echoed into the depths of Smokekit's mind, the fact there was no returning answer set him on edge.) DON'T THEY? (Smokekit shut his eyes, trying to shake it away from his head.)

[Serpentfang watched with silence as Spadestripe padded up to her to retrieve Smokekit. Somehow, it was painful to look the she cat in the eyes as she cam closer and then padded off. Smokekit's shooken words echoing in her head. She rememberd how her father would lecture her for going off to far as a kitten. She never really listened, but she too had met her consequences when she had passed the boundary and was catnapped by poachers. But at least she knew her family was alive, Smokekit, she worried for him.]
"....we will be warriors soon..."
[She muttered under her breath, as if to fill the empty void of the chanting that had died away.] Serpentfang has broken her promise with Galestar. Not only did she leave camp but alone as well. She was so distracted by that rabbit. Galestar.... Serpentfang is sorry. [She looked up at the stars in the sky tilting her head with wonder.]
Or was this supposed to happen?
Did you take me to Smokekit?
[The stars twinkled in the inky dark of the night, like each individual beacon of hope, for every lost soul on earth to find. She smiled peacefully.]

[I flicked my ears in annoyance and narrowed my dull green eyes at Siegekit. I bared my teeth and shifted closer to Shadekit]
"Siegekit, I said not right now! I'm busy!"
[My claws began tearing at the soft bedding, and I flinched, not realizing what I was doing. Sighing, I sheathed my claws and blinked slowly. This was going nowhere. I should probably just forget about it. It probably won't happen again! What am I so worried about? Standing up, I forced a smile and bounded out of the nursery]
"C'mon Siegekit, are you ready or what?"

 [Valorkit sat with her head low. It was in that moment that she swore to herself, to Starclan and her parents that she would become an apprentice. She would be a warrior, one so valiant, and just that none of the clans would know what to do with her. She would help cats who had souls, or could find goodness, and punish those that try to corrupt and are filled with malice. Valorkit lifted her chin high as she searched the sky with her bright blue eyes shimmering with determination. She also swore to stop with the frivolous group nonsense, completely ignore those who cause drama and negative feelings. Valorkit would be friends and friendly to everyone who would appreciate it, and no one where it would waste time. The she-kit stood, holding her head high as she strode out of the nursery, ignoring her siblings and Birdkit as she turned away. She held herself with a newfound composure, serious and wise as she strode with purpose. She would be a warrior. If she had to go to another clan to be one, she would- but she would stick to her morals of truth, honor, and justice.]

[Siegekit thought absentmindedly and turned to Sandkit quickly. She was sad and looking at the body of....Lostkit!] How did Lostkit die! First Goldenkit...and now Lostkit. Aww poor Smokekit and Fallingkit...now they were all alone...what should I do... [Siegekit accidently knocked into Birdkit, he shook his head to clear away his thoughts.  M a p l e l e a f'Tis the evening calm and clear,
The rustling of the maple leaves,
The whisper of wind through the grass...══════════════════════════════════════════
[A small yet sleek calico warrior slid from the warriors' den, her small paws sinking into the snow. The cat shook her paws, scattering snow within a couple mouselengths or so. She flicked her whiskers, then padded on. She surveryed the camp, her emerald eyes meeting those of varied colors, all with warmth. If cats could smile, she would be right now. After all, snow made the little warrior giddy. She leapt through the drifts that hadn't been cleared, despite their sizes. Mapleleaf was a small warrior! She noticed the kits playing and wanted to have a little fun herself. She flicked some snow onto them with her slender tail. Not a lot, but just a tiny dusting. She mrrowed in laughter, then waved her tail to them in a friendly greeting. Deciding to go out on the moor to try her luck at hunting, she leapt over one final drift and disappeared.
Mapleleaf broke into a gleeful sprint over the glittering white surface, having to leap up and out of some of it. While running, her paw caught on a buried branch and she tripped, landing face first in snow. Mrrowing in amusement, she shook her head and flicked her whiskers free of snow. A soft rumble of a purr started up her throat. After all, winter may be rough on the Clans, but it's so beautiful! Mapleleaf was distracted by a flicker of movement on her left, about five tail lengths away. She swiveled her head, but saw it was only a lizard. Dropping into a crouch, she crept up on it. The pale green of it's scales stood starkly out against the shite surface of snow. She pounced, but found nothing but snow. The lizard had managed to burrow beneath the snow to escape! Growling at her loss, she flexed her claws. Feeling the soft white surface, cold as it may be, made her feel a bit more giddy. Purring, she wound her way between boulders, her paws carrying her somewhere, yet not knowing where she was going.
Mapleleaf paused, her amused and pleased attitude faltering. She wound her way around the last boulder, to be greeted by a wide expance of the moor. The freezing wind buffeted her fur, but it felt good. Mapleleaf's good spirits plummeted as memories flooded her mind. This was her secret spot, the secret spot only one cat knew about- the fiery colored cat that held her heart, Embergaze. Instantly, emotion choked her throat. She couldn't talk, could hardly breathe. As far as she knew, he disappeared with eagles and could well now be eagle meal. Mapleleaf had fallen hard for that cat, but it didn't help that Larkcry wanted him too. That cat was so shy and quiet that Mapleleaf hardly knew what to do with him, but she was crfazy about him. She sighed, raking a claw in the snow. She missed him, but he probably wouldn't be coming back. He probably didn't even love her, for all she knew. She was throwing her feelings away for some cat that never talked. There she sat, a desolate, lonesome shadow sitting on a sparkling white surface. Her heart ached; she kept trying to tell herself that he'd come back and would feel the same way about her. But it was what it always was: a hopeless fantasy.

 ▬||Shadekit||▬ ════════════════════════ *[Shadekit was surprised by Birdkit's sudden enthusiasm, thinking she would only ignore Siegekit's request. Shadekit gave Siegekit a small grin, and a look of challenge. Using his paws, he quickly padded out of the nursery, glad he was away from that dark corner. Seeing the snow made Shadekit feel more better. His ears then perked as he spotted his step-sister, Valorkit. His eyes clouded with disappointment, wondering if something was bothering her. Her chin high in the air showed how mature she gotten. He showed a grin, as he looked back at the others.] "Hold on." he said, as he raced towards her.
[Once he was close enough, he slowly snuck behind her, making sure she didn't see him yet. He then jumped in front of her with a playful look.] "Boo!" he surprised. [He let out a chuckle as he gave her a friendly smile and soft gaze.] "Hey Valorkit." he greeted. "You seem bored. Do you want to playful with me and the others?" he asked, giving a kind smile. "If you want to invite some of your other friends, then that's no problem." he mentioned.* ════════════════════════ ════════════════════

They had that same playful yet competitve look in their eyes.] "I bet Shadekit is easy...it's just Birdkit." the twins stated at the same time. [They're eyes then focused on Shadekit, who rushed over to Valorkit. The twins focused on Valorkit, not noticing a similarity.] "How are they siblings?" the twins wondered. "That can't be Shadekit's sister, she's way prettier than him..." Sunkit said. [Moonkit nodded in agreement, but then caught the sight of Smokekit, in the farthest corner of the camp. He noticed Spadestripe, the orange she-cat discipling her son. When she walked away, the pink kit started to cheer up Smokekit. Moonkit had signs of envy in his eyes, his eyes in a deep frown. He was somehow jealous, wanting to cheer up Smokekit instead of her.]
[Sunkit had a puzzled gaze as he concentrated on his brother. He tilted his head to the right side.] "Moonkit, why are you starring at Smokekit?" Sunkit asked his brother. [Moonkit had an annoyed look as he gazed at the two, looking away. He turned his back towards them.] "No reason." Moonkit muttered. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

[I glanced over at Lostkit, and frowned, sadness pooling up in my green eyes. I shook my head and looked in the other direction, only to see Shadekit with Valorkit. As if that helped. Narrowing my eyes, I stuck out my chin defiantly, not even noticing when Siegekit rammed into me. I flicked my ears and turned to face him. I bared my teeth and jumped, landing squarely on his back. Quickly, I jumped off, and pawed at his face, before darting away and nipping at his heels. I was just running all over the place, and jumped again at end, landing on his back once more, panting]
"I'm extremely quick if you havn't noticed"

We have to say goodbye to Lostkit just like we did for Goldenkit." (Smokekit looked over to Mewkit.) "Hiya Mewkit...I'm fine, I guess." (Smokekit twitched a bit.) 'We'll be warriors soon...We'll be warriors soon..." (Smokekit shook his head a bit.) "That's what brother said before he died." (He looked off.) "It's kind of a weird thing to say, too..."

[Fallingkit stared, her eyes were blue liquid as she saw the dead body of her brother...Lostkit. Fallingkit scampered towards Spadestripe, tears brimming in her eyes as she rushed to the warmth of the burnt orange fur of her mommy.] "M-Mommy... will it only be us...no more Lostkit...is..he....gone...he won't be apprentices with us?"
[Mewkti blinked as she watched Spadestripe scold Smokekit from a distance. his poor brother she never really knew...died. It must be so horrible..... Mewkit scuttled up to him half-heartedly... not knowing what to do....] "Uhmmm Smokekit...are you ok?"
