She'd dropped the apple when he kissed her. They moved so fast, it wasn't fair! She laughed inwardly then and picked up the apple, wiping it off, I feel better now, I was just hungry. I've got to check my email to see if I got any interest. She informed him, then maybe another training session?

She grimaced, Okay. She grabbed her purse and headed out the door, You don't have to come if you don't want to. I'll be back soon. She pointed out, she wasn't sure how he liked the library last time, he didn't like all the attention he was getting....neither did she, now that she thought about it.

A flash of white and Dorien was back in his human form, "I'll come. It seems human literature is far more advanced than I thought..." He actually complimented the human race...that is something that won't happen for atleast another milenium...
He had on different attire this time, another idea he got from the males that walked around. A black sleeveless shirt that was covered by a long, trenchcoat type jacket and of course black pants. Apparently, he liked the color black...

Magnolia stared at him, her mouth hanging open. She started, checkign to see if she'd drooled. Surprisingly, she hadn't but she might have caught a fly or two. She led him downstairs, past the two strange men--they couldn't be human, humans were customers here--and out the front door. It was dark, since she could remember it was almost always dark in Signet, maybe because of the undead population? She glanced over at Dorien and then away grinning like a fool. Was she the luckiest girl, or what?

Dorien looked at her curiousity, comepletely confused at her sudden change in attitude. Why did she act that way everytime she sees him in this form? And then he started getting the same looks from the women around him and he sighed. Crazy... they were ALL crazy...
"This shouldn't take long am I right?" he asked, the impatience clear in his voice.

He raised an eyebrow at her goofy smile and said, "I can do that another time. You want to train do you not?" What a lame excuse, but he really wanted to get out of this city..for now anyway.
Besides, he was getting a little too comfortable with her being so close to him....And in his book that wasn't good.

There was a sudden gunshot and Dorien suddenly buckled, letting out a bark of pain, "Dorien!" He was heavy but she managed to set him down so he didn't collapse, "What--Hey!" Someone grabbed her pressing her up against the alley wall. It took her a moment and when she figured out who it was she stared in disbelief, "Guy?!"
His handsome face smiled down at her, "Hello, lovey!" He greeted, "Good to see you."
"Guy, what the hell are you doing? What'd you do to Dorien?" She yelled pushing against him. Guy had always been stronger than her, but now even having reclaimed her heritage she wasn't able to get free. She wondered what was wrong with Dorien why it was takign so long for him to get up, it was just a bullet, vamps shook off things like that, right? She caught a glimpse of him, glaring bloody murder at Guy's back but clutching his shoulder, something was terribly wrong.
The bullet was made out of iron.

Dorien gritted his teeth, his true form reappearing as the bullet took affect. What... he slowly looked up, his deathlike glare aimed at the human now holding Magnolia hostage. That voice....
You... he said slowly in their minds, I should have killed you. I won't make the same mistake twice.. he slowly pushed himself up, a growl on his throat. But that was quickly replaced by coughing, and Dorien blinked as he saw blood. His blood.

Magnolia gasped, "Guy let go of--" Guy silenced her with a kiss, "Oomf!" she blinked then glard and bit him hard. He pulled back and laughed, "You have no idea how excited I am, Maggie! This new you is really giving me a hard on!" He wasn't kidding about that, "What did you do to Dorien?" She growled.
"Oh one of my buddies is really into fantasy. He heard that all fae have a bad reaction to iron, that includes elves. That's what he is, isn't he?" He looked back at Dorien.
"How did you--?"
"Doesn't matter how I knew, Maggie. Just be quiet while I pop a cap in his crown and then we can all go home and you can tell me how sorry you are for humiliating me." he smiled. There was something behind his eyes, something dreadfully unstable....something not even human. He pulled out a revolver.
She had no idea rage could bring such clarity, was this the state that Dorien achieved so easily?
"Wait..." She heard herself purr, it took her and Guy by surprise. He looked at her, "There's something I'd like to say first." He'd released her enough so that she was able to cradle his face in her hands. She pulled her face towards him, her lips going near he ear.
"Guy. I love that man that you are about to kill. I love him more than life itself. What you've done is appalling and I will not forgive you." She whispered softly. Guy found he couldn't move, couldn't push her away, couldn't straighten, Do you know what I'm going to do, Guy?
His muscles were locked in place, all of them, it was like being paralyzed.
I'm going to kill you, Guy. He was able to move again. He jerked back and stumbled away from her. Her hair was back to white again and her green eyes were glowing softly. She offered him a soft smile, "Bye-bye" She wiggled her fingers at him.
He blinked at her, there was nothing wrong with him. He laughed nervously and pointed the gun at Dorien, it too was loaded with iron bullets, "Don't mess with me Maggie--" he suddenly started screaming and clutching his head. He dropped the gun and fell to his knees. Blood seeped out of his ears, his eyes, his nose. Her jerked violently then so violently that he snapped his own neck and fell.
There were multiple gun shots but the bullets stopped short. Magnolia expanded her awareness, finding them. They struggled with their own arms as they turned the guns on themselves and blew their own brains out. Silence reigned and Magnolia looked over at Dorien, she frowned and approached.

[Wow....o.o]
He saw it all. From the stolen kiss to the arms of the others that shot themselves falling limply to the floor. Magnolia did it all...for him.
Through sheer willpower, he managed to take the bullet out and and stand with the help of the nearest wall. His arm clutched the wall as he closed his eyes, his body slowly healing itself as he looked at Magnolia.
Magnolia... he said, trailing off. He was for once at a loss of words. No one has ever done that for him, not for that reason anyway. Not for love.
