Rave sighed and looked around for a good place to sit and not be too bothered. He found one of the painters and sighed again, looking from Gambler to the shady spot near the painter, and back again. Speaking low, like normal, he said where he was going and went quickly out of the sun, sitting under a tree with a book that no one had seen him summon. Even as he looked like he wasn't paying attention, Rave was listening perfectly to everything around him and watching Gambler from under his bangs.

The three males nodded and sighed. Joker left to go near the fountain to listen to the music after getting a snow cone. The angel and the demon both looked at each and then at the open field. "For old time's sake, angel." Monty challenged. Kyoshi grinned. "Those old time's were the best. Let's see if we could make it better." He said, both males going to that spot to spar with each other.
Gambler on the other hand, went from quiet withdrawn Gambler in the morning to the wild and charming woman. She grinned boardly at the ice cream ventor with his sparkling blue eyes and bright blonde hair. He winked at her as it was her turn to get a ice cream. "Can I help you?" He asked cheerfully. Gambler smiled then pouted, looking at the selections. "I don't know which one to pick." The man smiled boardly and chuckled. "Then let me help such a lovely young woman." He cooed and told her about each selection, making each one sound better than the last.

Aria had received the message but she had gotten distracted on her quest. Someone had recognized the description but... it ended up being a dead end. Disappointed she returned to the park and instead of lifting her spirits and made her feel down as ever. She began to wonder if he had given up waiting for her and moved on. And that idea made her more glum.
But she banished the thought and saw the group gathering around the fountain. She inhaled deeply and summoned all her power to make her seem as powerful and imposing as possible. It's not that she was trying to appear as something she wasn't, because she was confident in her powers. But she wanted others to get the sense that she wasn't to be messed with because... well she truly hated when people felt she could be walked all over.

Hearing this, Rave looked up again and glared slightly. He didn't know why he was getting possessive over this. The boy was that, a boy. Plus, Rave knew his eyes were better. Looking back down to his book, the elf's ear twitched as he glanced to his left. Apparently he was being painted. Once caught, the painter blushed and stuttered, "I-I apologize, sir...b-but you make such a perfect p-picture..." Rave sighed, "I don't mind."

The man beamed at Gambler's charming, childlike demeanor. "I still can't choose. You made each one sound so good." She pouted again. "I don't want to get fat." The man laughed. "Your not going to get fat. These are only going to make you sweeter than you are." Gambler blinked up at the man and smiled. "Then can I have more than one?" She asked, not wanting to take all of the ice cream from the little kids.
"Sure you can. You know what, I'll give them to you for free." "Really? But...I couldn't accept that." She said, patting her pocket that had her money. Shaking his head he grinned. "Say you go out with me and it'll be free." Gambler just stood there, blinking at the man and then looking at the menu as if considering that. But what she really was considering is, when is that Fae going to save her from this psycho? Then again, Aria didn't know that Gambler was the boss of Area 6 so...that was a lost hope.
Monty and Kyoshi had stopped sparring since they attracted too much unwanted attention, especially with the tourists and walked towards the fountain to sit and watch around for the Fae.

Twitching, Rave heard the offer and growled softly. He didn't move from his spot, nor did he even look like he was doing anything, but shadows went from him, across the clearing, and to the pathetic excuse of a man. Attaching themselves to the man's shadow, he took control of the man as he had him fall to the ground in a collapsing fashion, the man falling face first into a pile of dog waste. Smirking slightly, Rave retracted his shadow and went back to reading his book while he was being drawn. True he couldn't do much, but that was enough to get the point across, even if no one would know what happened. Well, Gambler might figure it out.

The man lifted his head, growling curses to everything and everyone, including dogs and wondered how the hell he managed to fall on it face first. That was just nuts. Gambler looked up and blink as the man wasn't around and pouted. "I never got my ice cream." She said and went around to find the man who was in fact face first in a pill of dog waste. "Um..." She said and then thought that he didn't move as he was talking to her. It must have been magic. Looking over her shoulder she spotted Rave and tilted her head to the side. Then she looked away. "Rave wouldn't be that mean right?" She asked herself, hoping the elf heard it.
Shrugging, she went towards the snow cone vendor and thought about what flavor she should get. Another hard feat to do. The man at the ice cream cart growled again and left it alone to go to the mens restroom.

And the elf did hear, but wasn't stupid enough to react. At least, not react too visibly. A small smirk was on Rave's lips as he turned another page in his book. Of course Rave wouldn't be that mean. Not the respectful Rave that everyone knew and loved. Then again, the group had been noticing, at least should have noticed, that just like Kalore had his female counterpart, so did Rave, only his was harder to link together unless you knew both him and Dusk very well.

Gambler sighed and pouted again, charming the next vendor into describing the flavors and which ones she should get and again he was drawn to her but hadn't yet make a offer like the ice cream vendor. Thankfully he didn't, but he was still flirting with Gambler. Again the boss wasn't paying attention to it only because she had her attention for her stomache and sweet tooth at the moment. "Oh man, I can't decide and this is freaking killing me." She groaned.

Sighing, Rave closed his eyes and had shadows point to a good combination of flavors that Gambler would enjoy. The sooner she got away from these annoying vendors, the better. At least that's what the elf believed. Sighing again, Rave turned a page and spoke calmly, "How is the painting, sir?" The man grinned, "It's coming along perfect. You make a great subject, man." Rave nodded, "Glad to be of help..." Annoying human...

"Ooooooooooh, what's that?" She said, her eyes bright and sparkling as she went to those combination of flavors. They smelled perfect and she smiled brightly. "I want this one." The man at the behind the cart sighed as if he had fallen in love with Gambler. She ignored the man and had fallen in love with the snow cone. "Hmmm, I think Rave would like one of these. It will keep him cool. My poor elf." She pouted again, in concern for the elf. "I'm such a cruel boss to him for bringing him in the sun....." She pouted even more and paid for three snow cones, stuffing her face with one to make herself feel better but it didn't help. The man stared at the woman with longing.
Gambler shrugged and went over to where she had spotted Rave and sat next to him. "Hey there. I thought a snow cone would keep you cool and the sweet flavors are wicked awesome." She gave him the one that was bigger and offered it to him with a bow. "For you Sir." she teased.

Chuckling softly, Rave nodded and took the cone, shadows keeping his place in the book. He looked to the painter, "This won't be a problem, right?" But, the man grinned, "Naw man, I think this is better. I won't add in the snow cone, seeing as I've got your book in their already, but I got an idea... Just stay there for a bit, man." Rave nodded and took a small bite of the snow cone, eye twitching at the sudden cold on his teeth. "Thank you for the snow cone, Gambler."

Gambler blinked at the painter and smiled boardly at Rave. "Your welcome." Then she was munching on her snow cone but stopped. She held her head and closed her eyes tightly. "Oh yeah, got to love that brain freeze." The woman stayed like that for a little bit then resumed eating the cone before getting another brain freeze. "Must...Overcome...The power....Of...Cheese." Man, Gambler was such a comedian.

Both Rave and the painter looked at her like she was insane, "Did she just say..." "Cheese? Yes. Yes she did." Sighing, Rave rubbed her temple, "This normally helps." He took another small bite of his as it began to melt, thankful that they weren't out in the sun where it would melt faster.

The boss sighed and nodded a thank you. She finished the snow cone, happy that her stomache was happy. "Okay. Now, to take out this restless energy and I can meet with Aria of the Fae." She said, looking around them for something to do quickly.
The Twin's were playing soccer with a group of boys around their age and a little older, at least in human years and well, Monty and Kyoshi stopped sparring, so that was out of the question and Joker was....sunbathing. "Well...You don't see that everyday." She muttered, staring at the grinning insane man under the sun.
