Finding himself in a lull of activity, Ash decides to head back to the tavern. On the one hand he hoped to see Keira there but on another he wanted to speak more to Zac, their last conversation was intriguing to him.
The roar of the fireplace can be heard for a moment and soon Ash is standing near the fireplace with his arm against the brick. He saw Zac eating and watched curiously.

After finishing up with making her sandwich, Zac put everything back before reentering the main tavern and taking a seat at the bar and enjoying the fruits of her labor. Taking a bit she muched away as she looked about the place, she wondered where everyone had gone.
Just as she was about to swallow she heard the roar of the fireplace, just as she had the day before, and instantly knew Ash would be in the room. Swallowing quickly she turned about, wiping her mouth on her sleeve, and looked at Ash.
Well hello again, what brings you back around here?

Ash waves as he sees Zac notice him. He went to the other bar, poured himself a glass of vodka on the rocks and headed back to where you were, taking a seat near you but a few away and turning, he sits his drink down.
Hey WG, feeling any more disconnected today than yesterday?

She shrugs and takes another bite of her sandwich, giving it a good chew before swallowing and replying to Ash.
I guess I feel the same as yesterday, no better, no worse. I didn't really do much of anything after you left, just kind of sat around on the couch.
I haven't seen anyone else about either. Have you?

Ash shrugs and looks around.
Nope, not even the owner or BH have been around. This place is pretty damned dead...I would try to liven it up but doubt it would be worth it right now. Do you ever leave?

Sometimes, but not in a while. It's like I mentioned yesterday, don't really have anywhere to go at the moment, and when I do leave, it's usually just over to the town or to walk in the woods. I haven't even done that in a couple of days.....
Her words trail off and the room fades to silence as she take another bite of her sandwich, not really looking at Ash, but she couldn't help but to think about the events from yesterday, and what they had talked about, especially about what he had said just before leaving. Swallowing her food she tried to ease herself into the question that had been going through her mind all of yesterday.
Ash......can you see...people's souls?

Ash listened intently but he could tell that something more was on Zac's mind. He watched her mannerisms as he took a stout swig from his glass. He would have mentioned something about her being here until she asked the question he expected.
He produced a smoke from his pocket and lit it, watching your face he nods.
Yup, sure can. That's part of what I do. I can tell what someone is like just by being near them.

This explained why he had said what he did and she had expected as much, but the knowledge brought her no real comfort. It was bad enough she could see her own soul, but having someone else see it to frightened her, but she couldn't let Ash see this. So staying calm she focused on her sandwich as much as possible, at least what was left of it before continuing on.
How does that...work for you. I mean what exatly do you see?

Taking a drag off his smoke and a swig from his glass, Ash watches you, his voice suddenly seeming to change into a more serious voice that almost didn't fit what she had known of him earlier.
Well, for starters, I can see your form as an outline...there is one dominating color...yellow..this is complacency, it shows you are stuck somewhere and aren't sure what to do about it. When you speak to me angrily, I see the red flare in your eyes, right now I see olive green that is waxing and waning...don't be scared of me. But most frightening of all...
He pauses and takes a long drag on his smoke, exhaling slowly.
I see a black spot right there...
Without hesitation, he lightly pokes his gloved finger just above your breast, where your heart would be.
However, it is surrounded by blue...its locked up..that isn't healthy...a black spot there puts you close to a Hollow.
Taking a breath and smiling lightly, Ash swigs his drink.
That explain it?

When Ash stopped speaking she started shaking, she couldn't help, her whole body began to rack with trembles. It was like something horrible inside her had opened up and was trying to get out. Dropping her sandwich she grabbed onto the bar to steady herself, but it didn't help. Moment's later she was lying on the floor trembling violently as she tried to speak..... but the voice that came out was not her own. Something older, and a little sinister spoke out from her lips. If Ash was still gazing upon her he'd see her soul turn a bright red, before looking as if it had disappeared.
Leave this child alone, do not speak with her. She must not know, she must not know!
The voice screamed now, a high pitched wail that filled the whole room, to an almost ear splitting level before stopping instantly, leaving the room in dead silence, Zac's body now laying motionlessly on the floor, her inner self returning back to normal.
((Sorry, for some reason I just had to do it. I will point out it's not a Hollow though, other then that Ash can make of it what he will of course.))

Ash watches the spectacle, when he sees the sudden flare of anger, he noticed her spiritual energies suddenly rise then fall. It wasn't a Hollow but something else, Hollows weren't that nice. He didn't really move much other than to help wake her, he saw the secondary aura around you was gone so he knew you were fine.
He hoisted you into the chair and his eyes took a shade of light red for a split second as a blast of cool air passed over you. Unless resisted, this should help wake and calm you.

((This place has been so dead I figured I'd add a little drama. xD))
As the cool air blasts over Zac;s face her eyes blink slowly before fully opening as she takes in the sight of Ash's face not to far from her own. She barely heard what he had to say as her head was droogy, and her hearing muffled, as if someone had stuck cotton in her ears.
Wh-what did you say? What happened?

Ash wanted to tell her what he had heard but he chose not to. It wasn't that he feared the warning of the voice but rather he didn't want to make Zac's life harder than it already was. Deciding on a lie, he just shakes his head.
I don't know, I was talking to you about auras and you just fainted, fell of the chair and hit your head pretty hard. You don't have a bump so it must not have been that hard of a hit.

Fainted? She couldn't quite believe it. She had never fainted in her life, but then agin most never fainted, until well they did, and she couldn't see why Ash would lie, unless something really bad had happened. Looking about the room she saw no disturbances, and Ash himself looked alright. She thought about opening her sense to see if Ash was being truely truthful, but decided against it. If he was lying, she probably didn't want to know the truth.
Oh...well thank you. Hopefully that won't happen again.
She tried to laugh it off but couldn't, so went back to what they had been talking about before.
Have you always been able to..see souls or aurors?
