She threw her head back and crowed in amusement, Like me? Surely you jest, I couldn't stand you from the beginning, I absolutely had no patience for you, nor you for me. The only plus was I thought you were attractive but hey, looks aren't everything. The only reason I didn't run at first was because we were supposed to create the elvan race but Dorien....I just don't like you that much. I respect you but that's about it. Magnolia loves you, can stand you, and would be thrilled to do anything for you, I expect. That's how it's supposed to be. She's of my line so you aren't making babies with one of your decsendents because that would be gross. She wrinkled her nose, Fate always bothered me.....this is just simply how it has to be. She shrugged again, So stop whining!

Brascus Remus bowed and left. He moved down the stairs. He came up silently Quinn and Othello. He grinned as he spoke, making sure Othello, who had headed for the door, also heard.. "Evening gents." Othello turned around at the somewhat familiar voice, then looked Remus up and down. "Glad to see you're still in one piece old friend." A slight grin appeared on his face, the only trace that he was actually very much relieved to see Remus intact.

Remus nodded to Othello. "As always. I finally remember where I know you from. You simply faded from my memory because I didn't have much concious time around you. You were fighting the resistance with me when Magreon summoned me to Petrograd. I only remember the five or so minutes before she berserked me."

In the kitchen, Magnolia had been watchign the two new guys through a space of the kitchen door while she ate. She'd never seen them before. She then saw they were joined by a third man, he too was unfamiliar to her. This place sure was lively even when it closed to the public.

Without really thinking, Quinn pulled the newly sculpted ice-statue of his sister from his robes and started twirling it through his hands. Contact juggling was another hobby of Quinn's, so much so that he had gotten to a point where he no longer had to look at his object.
"So that explains the connection to you, Remus." Quinn commented when he heard what Remus had to say, "But how do I play into the mix?"

Remus sat down next to Quinn. "That I don't know." Remus gently pulled the statue from Quinn's hands. He stared at it sadly for a moment. "When you have time," Remus's voice was a bit strained, "please make one of Alice... She and my father are gone from this world..."

"It takes but a short amount of time, Remus." Quinn replied, "I'd be more than happy to make one for you."
Using his telekinetics, Quinn took the statue back from Remus and put it in his robes. He then set his sights on Othello, "You still have some explaining to do. How is it that you know me?"

Rikku slowly approched the man from behind a playful smile on her face. Not making a sound she stood behind him unnoticed yet. Bending down slightly she whispered into his ear. "Its good to see you well Remus"

Remus nearly fell of the chair as he heard the whisper. "Rikku! Wow. It's been quite some time." Remus couldn't help but smile. "I'd like you to meet some old friends, Othello and Quinn." He motioned to the two of them.

If anything Rikku's smile only brightened at Remus's surprise. When he motioned to the two men she examined them closely her gaze lingering into their eyes. "......Interesting." Her focus suddenly returning to Remus she smiled again "Yes it has been a while hasn't it? I've been.. How should i say this...Training." As she spoke she lightly touched the scar on her shoulder hoping Remus knew what it meant.

"Word travelled fast of a brother being engaged." She raised an eyebrow at him trying to hold in a smile. "If you are not to busy, i haven't had a good ..fight in a while." The way she emphasized the word she knew he would understand.

Remus grinned. "I'd gladly accept that challenge, but not immeadiately. I have to work out some other business and besides, I doubt the Blaydons would like us tearing up their bar." He looked up the stairs. "In any case we should at the very least wait for Lina, I told her I wouldn't go far."

"Who said anything about tearing up this bar? Besides Remus wheres your sense of adventure? Also not to mention it isnt hard to pass word to Lina of where we are now is it?" She smiled her eyes full of mischief. "Come on, please Remus." Rikku's expression changed so suddenly to begging, her lower lip pouting, trying hard not to laugh. She thought silently to herself "God he better after this i dont think ive ever begged in over 10years."
