Zac's head snapped up from the bar table as she looked about nervously, she hadn't realized that she had even fallen asleep, and wondered when she had. No one else was about, and she visiable relaxed, but wondered why it was so dead about.

(( Actually, only Ben is taken. Ash is messing around with Keira but she iced him last time so he isn't really all that taken, Jeff isn't taken and neither is Cap but for someone opposed to the hooking up of characters, I find this a funny statement. ))

(( Not gone, just sidetracked! In case you don't know, my job is usually really slow so I can RP but every once in a while I actually have to work. In light of my convo with ATH, this isn't being snooty, its poking fun at myself. ))
It had been some time since Ash had visited the tavern, although he wasn't about to show it, the way that he was pushed aside had bothered him more than he would dare admit. Not to mention that work had expected him to do a lot more than usual. There was a slight roar in the fireplace and Ash appeared on the couch, smoking and looking around at the place.

Zac heard a roar from the fireflace and looked around only to see Ash sitting up on the couch, looking his usual self. She smirked rememeber Hikaru's comment some days ago about Ash and Keira helping each other out. Turning completely around in her seat she eye'd him for a moment before getting up and walking over to him.

Taking a seat on the couch a little away from Ash, she to hadn't forgotten there last encounter and the state in which she had been in, just waking up from a hangover, but he had helped her out with that, so things past could be forgotten to a point.
Yeah, don't really have anywhere else to go at the moment, so I figured I'd stick around here.

Ash was happy to see that you seemed to be more cool-headed than the last time he had talked to you and there was no arguments that this was a good thing. He smoked on his cig and listened, something he doubted that you thought he could do.
Get a life then! Haha! Just kidding. Nah, my life is boring as s**t other than work. But with some of the ******** up stuff I see with work, having a boring life otherwise ain't too bad.

Zac thought about this for a moment, and chuckled to herself.
I think that's actually why I came here Ash, to get away from life, or at least get one of my own. I'd been so busy until I came here, I wasn't really sure what was my life, and what was my fathers.
She sat in silence for a while as Ash puffed on his smoke, wondering if she had gotten any closer to that answer, and realizing she probably hadn't.
So what does work have you doing?

Ash watches as you start revealing a bit more about yourself, it was very intriguing to him.
Well that's the kind of s**t that seems to happen in family businesses these days.
As Ash heard the next question, he wasn't sure how to really explain what he did to someone who wasn't like him, normal people didn't really seem to understand. He thought for a moment about the way to answer and finally came upon a good explanation, it was very close to what he told most other people that asked. He took a drag and answered.
My work has me taking care of the worst criminals you can find. Basically, if all other people who are supposed to do this s**t can't do it, they call me. I specialize in taking care of very nasty criminals called Hollows.
