I liked them, but I would rather have my courier class ship instead. I love that ship class, it was large enough for living space, yet not wasted like the frieghter, who is open for cargo instead of living.

Uber_Bunny Does anyone know the crew size of a Carrack cruiser? A carrack Cruiser is 350 meters long. Crew Size is unknown, but Ill extrapolate data. A Dreadnaught requires 16000 soldiers, unless automatons are used. Then it goes down to 5000 soldiers, and 2000 with slave rigging. If a dreadnaught is 600 meters long, then extrapolation of data means a carrack would use about 9,200 soldiers give or take. Automaton is 2,900, and slaved is 1100 soldiers.

Those things still seemed deadly even if they didn't catch on(Star Vipers) They seemed better the normal TIE Fighters or Bombers alone(kind of a 2 in 1 sort of thing, since they had good laser cannons and missles also)

keep in mind, tho, that ties, ints, and tie bombers cost almost next to nothing. the empire's philosophy seems to be 'deploy en masse' at least when it comes to fighters.

Fairly cheap, if you think about the stuff it does have on it. and expensive if you think of what it doesn't have on it as well.
figuring that 25000 gets you a standard spacecraft... no weaponry, shitty everything... 74000 aint that much more for a fighter with weapons, but no life support or hyperdrive.
Still, the defender for 500000 is definately the killer of budgets.

God... The Xwing is like the Vong of spacefighters. It sucks at nothing, excels at everything except bombing...

yeah, but it stays far too long at the front of rebel fighter forces. if I had a few of my books I could get you the prices of a few more alphabet ships, but if memory serves a TIE interceptor is about 90,000. on this I could be wrong.

Oh well. is there anything more than the Coruscant and Delayla Class Courier ships?
Oh, Cale, could you put information reguarding Delayla in the OOG? the planet, not the ship. I have no info on that, and I'm curious.

well it was the world that Rieeken was on when Alderaan was blown up. Delayla was close enough that the bang could be seen by the human eye. not much is known other than that but I'll get creative. as for courier ships, theres a sithload, but I can't remember any off the bat. if I remember some, I'll throw em in the Guide for you. the good ones anyway. some Couriers are total bantha fodder.
