They said Timothy is developmentally delayed, Urg! He's only 6 months, but I so doubt it. They told us he's three months behind. He's trying to crawl! He's small, but he can do so much the average three month old can't.

Who said Timothy is delayed? Have they done some sort of tests? Maybe get a second opinion? How is he delayed? Wow, he's trying to crawl at 3 mos? I know it'll be awhile before Ben can do that. . . but he's getting there. whee

Sorry Monkey that Eric's sick. but that's good that he has a group to go too.

I'm sorry I haven't been in here lately. I just started working a job. It really sucks, but we need a paycheck since my husband quit working. He has to read a lot of books before he enters law school, so that's what he's doing. And watching Ben too.

I hope everyone is doing good.

I know I am not in the same boat as some of you now but I was, My son was born with somthing called gastroschesis it is when there bodies dont make enough alph feta protiens to finish there abdominal wall next to the umbilical cord, Needless to say they induced when I was 7.5 months, I got to hold him for about 15 seconds (he was wrapped in plastic to protect the bowel that was out side his body) Before the wisked him away for surgery. It was a really hard time, he had to get a plastic silo to put his bowel back in by gravity. After a month of intibation they tried to extibate him, they ran tests and found out he had BPD so he could breth without oxygen and then I found out he was addicted to morphine, he had to get methedone (let me tell you the stares when I picked that drug up, they thought I had done heroin when I was pregnant) It was all complicated and long. I didntr get to hold him after the first time for 14 days and i cried so hard when I got to. He was quite sick when he came home at 4.5 months but I worked really hard with him to get him off all that stuff and now he is sitting on the floor playing with his blocks all better, for the most part (he has an internal hernia that will need to be repaired when he is 6 or 7 and we are going to talk to him about wether or not he wants plastic surgery because he lacks a belly button)

****update****
Lisa is going insane..lol.. i spent like 5 hours with eric in the er last night gonk as you all know back in sept he had that knee surgery to remove some remaining food fragments from his knee from a fall..they thought they got it all...well they were wrong , apparently there is a like microscopic piece(s) still in there which aside from really in depth major surgery they couldnt find ..even if they do the surgery chances are they wouldnt find it..sooo long story short he jumped or fell on his knee jjjuuusstt right and aggravated it causing a lovely infection..so i got him undressed monday afternoon and noticed this lump on his knee, freaked out called his doc who said "bring him in tomorrow" so tuesday comes and im getting him ready for the short trip to the family doc when i get a call saying"take him to the er they have better equipment to find out whats wrong" joy..so i spend 2 hours just to get there(i had to take a bus) sit in a waiting room of screaming puking children (which eric isnt suppose to be around because of a lowered immune system from his elidel) then sit back in a tiny little room for almost 4 hours for the morons to send me to xray 3 times(the idiots sent me up first for an xray of his knee then for one of his lower leg, then one of the upper leg) how hard isit to just xray the whole leg at once stressed so they tell me its this bad infection and send me home with a really nasty strong antibiotic..our first bus driver is completly slow and incompetent causing me to miss my connecting bus @730.. which mean i got to wait 2 hours in downtown ..its like crackville at night my bus FINALLY comes at about 10pm and i got home about 11 ..needless to say both eric and i just fell over and passed out 3nodding ..and thats my rant xd

I have been there, they dont know what babies do when they are safe with there parents. If you get concerned then you should worry.
